Property Ratings at Northview-Southview Apartment Homes
I visited the apartment complex on 07/21/23 and decided to apply since I was on a time crunch to find a place to stay. I paid $300 holding fee that was stated would be completely refunded if I cancel my application within 72 hours. After applying, I read many reviews online about the pests infestation and plumbing problem that they were given a court warning for. Not willing to deal with that, I called them the next morning to let them know that I wanted to cancel my application. The management told me I would be getting my refund shortly. After a week and a half of not getting my refund, I called them to ask where is my $300 holding fee and why have I not received it yet. I was told it will be coming to me in 1-2 business days. I waited, it didn't come. I called again, I was told this time they contacted corporate and it would come within 2-3 business days. It didn't come. I called again, I was told the same thing. I waited 2-3 business days again and I don't have it. I called them again today and they told me the same exact thing, so I let them know that I will not be waiting any longer and I would have to ask my bank for a chargeback. They told me they would call by the end of today. They did not call, so I contacted them myself once again. I was told that the accountant is not responding so they can't help me. After waiting for 2.5 weeks for my holding fee, I am forced to go through my bank and request a chargeback because I lost all hope that I will receive my fee back. Do yourself a favor and don't apply to this place because they will not give you your money back.
if i could give this place zero stars i would southview is a dump. elevator is always broken , trash is all over the place and never gets cleaned , jacuzzi seems to always be broke , gym has 4 pieces of trash machines and has been closed for months , cats are all over the place they pee all over your car. people don't pick up after their dogs , dog poop would stay on the stairs for days , because maintenance sucks at cleaning the place up . homeless people trying to break in
management has no accountability. Central office has no clue what is happening at the properties and instead of finding out they just tell you generic lies.
I like my apartment but I had to ask for things several times. The property isn't really maintained well and the laundry area is dirty.
Barely a week in my new place at Northview and I have no complaints! Vanessa made the process super easy and took a lot of stress from me. The neighbors seem nice and the apartment is quiet! I’m very happy.
