From setting up a tour of available rentals, to explanation of prices and community information, to signing the the lease and beyond. Throughout the whole time there were lots of questions, concerns, and problems, which were all resolved with complete explanations. The office personnel were wonderful in assisted me through all the leasing paperwork and other necessary documents as well. They are still helping me adjust to the new community connecting me to the community’s digital communication system. Getting assess to the amenity areas is the last piece I need. The office group are wonderful and have arranged several social activities for adults and families in October. It is evident that they want people who live here to become a community. It is a nice area that offers a lot of options-rental sizes, prices, and amenities.

Apartment has not be what it was talked up to be. Delayed response times. No sense of community. Calls for completely “renovated” and vents in bathroom were screwed in and super glued shut. Dishwasher was hanging by the screws. Saw a car was broken into and provided no sense of clarity on what they are doing to help prevent that in the future. You are definitely seen as a dollar sign and not a person.

We signed a lease for a 3rd floor apartment only to find out its the 4th floor. This wouldnt make a difference if there was an elevator, but there is not. We were never told that the top floor is an attic-it is clearly not insulated like the rest of the building so in the cold months it is FREEZING (especially in the room that gets the central air last-which literally blows cold air). In the hot months it never got below 80 degrees even though the AC was on full blast all summer (which also obviously led to very expensive electric bills). My bedroom window has been broken since I moved in. When maintenance came to fix it (for the 2nd time), he told me the windows were too old to buy the replacement parts he would need. Even if he fixed the 1 pane that wont stay in place theyre almost impossible to open. Our balcony door is just as old and we have difficulty sliding it at times Safety is a concern - the building isnt locked & our door only has a bolt lock, no handle lock. Disappointed.

I am new to northwoods apartments, so far its been nice! Im happy with my space and community. Northwoods apartments has a lot to offer to their community. The leasing office is very nice, it just takes a while to get things done, which is understanding because they are so busy. Maintenance fixed my problems quickly. Overall off to a good start

Experience living here has been great. There is a walking trail a quarter mile down the road, all amenities are easily accessible. The pool was great in the summer, and everyone is very friendly in the area.

I've lived here for a while and I think it used to be better, it's not as good as before. They don't renovate the apartment, the windows are old and air gets in, they say to put plastic on them, so it uses a lot of electricity, unfortunately the electricity bill is quite expensive.

Terrible parking situation. There is never any spaces for the residents to park. It's only gotten worse. We needed at least one space per unit like on the East Side.

My experiences with Northwoods staff has been both pleasant and at times unpleasant. For instance I had an issue with one of the maintenance guys rasing the tone of their voice towards me once, but, I have not had an issue with that person ever again. As a matter of fact they are quite reliable and hard working for us. Next, I have been upset with the lack of activities but I met with the person in charge and she was quite pleasant, and she showed me the map of plans (figuratively) where we will have stuff starting to happen again. The apartments are pretty clean, maintenance is fast most of the time to fix the problems that I have. I am still impressed with the amount of amenities that we have; a pool, clubhouse, pool table, gym, dog parks, tennis courts, and more. It is so convenient to live here to be close to so many stores like Walmart, Stop &Shop, a bunch of gas stations, and many restaurants. I was fortunate to be able to live here another year.

We just moved in. The Leasing office was friendly and helpful. I had a several questions that were all answered adequately. The process was as simple as any. Our apartment had all new carpet and clean or new appliances. There were a few small things that we had to put work orders in for. Which were all completed within a week. Our only issue is the A/C is inside, so it can be quite loud when it is running. Also there are no elevators. Other than that, no complaints so far. The community is really nice and clean. The pool is clean.

Staff at leasing office is very rude and unhelpful. Maintenance is pretty good but takes a while to come! Apartment is sadly less than we were promised, and they hiked up the price like crazy, looking to move soon.

Resident community is very friendly and welcoming. Staff are kind and happy to help. Property is clean and well maintained. Animal friendly community with dog parks. Swimming pools are big and grills are cleaned after use.

So far so good. Friendly neighbors, nice complex. Walking my dog is great, plenty of trails and a doggie park. Parking is convenient, my assigned spot, which accommodates two cars, is right outside the building entrance.

The community is fine. But the payment portal for rent is never accurate and the leasing office is aware and has done nothing to fix it since we’ve moved in.

I have been at Northwoods for more than 20 years. I love it here. The apartment has all the conveniences necessary for today’s modern living Including full size washer/dryer in each unit, central air, dishwasher, disposal and patio. Amenities include pool, exercise area, dog park, and car wash area. Access to highways and shopping areas are convenient. The maintenance staff is first class! Issues are handled promptly and effectively by a group of dedicated engineers. Who could ask for anything more?

This is the first time I’ve lived in an apartment community I didn’t know what to expect; however my experience has been very positive. Maintenance issues have been handled promptly, professionally, and courteously especially the major issues. One of the features that sold me on moving here was having the washer & dryer in the apartment. It is a quiet community. I feel safe.
