Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Nottingham Gardens
I had a good experience living here. I was here for 3 years in a studio apartment. The apartment itself was simple but functional and suitable for my needs at the time. My neighbors were all great--not just my building but the whole complex. People were very friendly and kind and very neighborly. The management staff was kind and available when needed. The neighborhood itself is beautiful and tucked away next to the park but also extremely convenient to major highways in the area. I really loved living here for that reason. Complaints I had were minor--the dumpster was usually overfilled and there was a lot of trash in that area and occasionally abandoned cars. Common area hallways of buildings and laundry rooms weren't always the cleanest. It took a bit but I did receive my deposit back in full. Overall I really loved living here and would have stayed longer and been willing to pay more if there were more amenities (ie dishwasher, laundry in unit, etc.).
Nottingham Gardens is a wonderful place to live. I’ve been here for 10 plus years and love it! Yes the apartments are old but well maintained the property manager is wonderful! The office has been renovated and there’s a new secretary who’s absolutely nice and professional! I love my apartment!
We've moved in here for over 18 months right at the start of COVID lockdown. While the location is quiet, there have been nothing but issues inside the unit. We've had cockroaches, mice, and small broken things that we've requested to get fixed multiple times ever since we moved in. While they successfully addressed mice problem and failed at getting rid of cockroaches after multiple pest control visits, they're always neglecting things that need fixing. The closet doors are very old slide doors, made up of aluminum and they doesn't even slide properly, making them unsafe for tenants as they could fall off. The towel hanging rod in the bathroom is broken and needs to be replaced. The bathroom window is cracked. We've requested to get them fixed multiple times to both management and maintenance directly. Management says someone will come by when they can as they're prioritizing emergency maintenance during COVID situation. Maintenance guy/Property manager Charles says to not hesitate and message him directly to remind him of the issues and he'll address them himself. He never responds back to the messages and when you see him in person and ask when he'll stop by, he rudely says "he doesn't know" and just walks away. The corridor carpet is stinky and no one ever comes to clean it. Because of poor maintenance, I strongly suggest staying away from these apartments.
This apartment should be shut down. We had a first floor apartment, there were constant leaks in the ceiling. Leaks in the wall as well as the constant sound of mice running through the ceiling. An awful experience. The staff was nice, but the buildings just need to be replaced. Their were also lots of spider crickets and the occasional roach would find it's way into our apartment. Our stuff still smells awful like basement and mold after moving out. Only one washer and dryer for 6 units down a creepy hallway.
Imobrd here a year ago all of my family moved to the West coast . This was my first place . Ms. Lisa automatically made me feel at home. As a full time student and being very young, ms. Lisa ensures satisfaction from not only me but my entire family. The maintenance is ON POINT. Maintain everything staff is very friendly , respectful, and concerned. My main goal was to live clean, worry free, and affordably. I got that and then some. I’ve already started recommending people to come here if they are looking for a good starter apartment. Another thing I loved is how centrally located my apartment is. I am able to get to all key spots of Baltimore (BWI airport, downtown, Baltimore county, etc. ) within nomore that 20 minutes from home . It’s great ??
