Property Ratings at Nova Glen Apartments
I rarely take to Reviews to share my experiences, but I feel compelled to warn prospective tenants about the disorganization and lack of respect for applicants' time and resources at Nova Apartments. On December 9th, my fellow applicant Robert and I paid a non-negligible application fee of $75 each, looking forward to our scheduled viewings at both Nova Wood and Nova Glenn the following day. This anticipation quickly turned into a series of letdowns. Upon arriving punctually at 2 PM for the first viewing, I was abruptly informed that the appointment had to be postponed due to staff training, a change for which there was no prior notice. Respecting their schedule, I returned at the rescheduled time of 3 PM, only to be greeted not by a leasing agent, but by Mike, a maintenance staff member, who informed me that everyone was on lunch until 3:30 PM. The peak of this disappointing journey came when, after finally being seated well past the scheduled time, I was coldly informed that my application was denied — a decision that was apparently communicated through emails that neither Robert nor I ever received. This left me questioning: why were we not even afforded the basic courtesy of viewing a model unit as initially promised, regardless of the application's status? This series of mishaps and blatant disregard for applicant engagement not only wasted precious time and money but also showcased a concerning level of disorganization and unprofessionalism from an establishment that should prioritize customer service and transparency. Future applicants, consider this a cautionary tale. If the application process has been this opaque and disheartening, one can only imagine what lies ahead for actual tenants. Nova Apartments, I hope you can take this feedback seriously and implement changes that reflect better respect and consideration for your prospective tenants. Absolutely worst management ever. Maintenance is short staffed. Nothing gets fixed except the empty apartments. Took 4 months to have blinds replaced. Been waiting 3 months on a new front door and exhaust fan for the bathroom. Have had my car towed away twice in the last year for having a wheel over the line in the parking spot. 400 dollars I don't get back. Management could care less about any of it and is armed with excuses for everything.

I would give 0 stars if possible.Management staff is horrible. They never return phone calls or emails. I have mold in my apartment. I've left numerous messages, all to no avail. Think twice before you move here. The price is good, but now I see why.

The management has done an excellent job during this pandemic and I admire the hard work and professional way they are handling it. I enjoy living here in Nova Glen with the way each tenant is given personal attention to any problems rather it be paying the rent of having repairs done in the apartment. Not happy..... your complex doesn't really respect the people that pay you rent every month! But I do believe office personals have their favorites!!
The staff is friendly, professional and knowledge about the property. I get quick response to any request I have made to them. The apartments are kept up and the grounds always look lovely. I have been a tenant for three years now and will continue to live here.
The first year here was fine but this new management is HORRIBLE!!!
I do enjoy living here and the neighbors are friendly and the staff is helpful at all times. The grounds and buildings are kept in great shape and response to any request is usually answered quickly.
Well I waited a month and a half for my first refrigerator to be delivered, cuz the other one broke... I waited 3 weeks for the second one because that one was not working properly and then two weeks for the third one to be delivered. Through all that I lost a lot of food from my freezer and had to throw out I put out a lot of money over $100 I'm the last to frigerators and now the office is arguing with me because I only took out $45.00 of my June rent and gave her the receipt of the groceries! The law is is an appliance goes you have to repair it within 48 hours and as you can see from above I waited weeks and months so it's only fair that your office pays for some of the groceries that I had to put back!!
If anyone is looking for a residence, or apartment, RUN PAST this community - it offers no amenities, and the additional fees are NOT worth the cost!!!
Overall the community is clean, landscape is kept up, it's quiet, great location, ( I've only been living here one month today), but I do believe my time living here will be a great experience.
Rude staff. Not attentive to homes
The staff has always been helpful and I love the Valet service. I think the staff and management have go over and above to keep us informed with the virus issues. I also see they have offered to help you keep up with your rent when so many people have been made to stay home. Thank you.
I love it here. Paying rent online is easy. Office is easy to get a hold of and maintenance is prompt in their responses and completing requests. Already recommended people.
This is my second year at Nova Glen and thus far I have not had a bad experience. Overall I would say it is a great place to live
The staff at Nova Glen are always courteous and all work or requests are handled promptly by friendly staff members.
As noted in previous notes, this community, its Management, and maintenance teams, are HORRID, and unresponsive! The community lacks central heating and air conditioning, and there are no quality amenities to speak of. Any individual who is considering residency in this complex should RUN away from it, based on the information above, but also due to in addition to the "rental" payment, they will be responsible for other monthly fees (valet trash, admin fees, water & sewer, insurance, etc., that may increase their (rental) payment $100 over what was stated prior to moving in, like a "bait and switch" tactic! I REGRET the day I moved into this apartment complex, and can hardly wait for the day that I can remove myself from it. The Manager, Marilyn Baker advised me a couple of weeks ago, in her arrogant manner, that I could leave without cost, but when I asked for the return of my deposit, etc., she said she would call me back - that call, or a discussion regarding return if my deposit has never followed that conversation - go figure!!! In essence, and to summarize my experience at Forest Glen Apartments, I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to live in this community, or any other community that is owned or managed by BH Management!!! If you want to be "fair", please "spread my words" as part of marketing campaign.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have recently moved back to NY for family reasons and Allison, one of the office people, told me she would open the door for spectrum and appliance warehouse in order for them to get their stuff.. A month later she has not let them in and my bills are outrageous because they cannot get their devices. I have emailed and called about a thousand times and they are just ignoring me. Do not move in here. They're are sketchy people around, you smell drugs as you walk out the door, and the office doesn't really care what you need or what. Simple.

MAINTANCE HAS NO PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE THEY LOOK LIKE THEY JUST WOKE UP.. SMH.. NO CARE FOR THE AREA. ANY DAMAGE TO THE APARTMENT (FRAMES, CURTAINS. ETC MAKING HOLES ON THE WALLS ARE CONSIDER DAMAGE)AFTER YOU LEAVE IS A MAJOR DEDUCTION TO AVOID THEM GIVING YOUR $ BACK. WHICH ALSO APPLYS TO YOUR LATE FEE PAYMENT OVER $125 AT THAT. WORST PLACE TO LIVE. NEIGHBORS ARENT REALLY FRIENDLY, BUT THATS OK. YOU GET TO KNOW THEM. THEN YOULL PREFER THAT YOU DIDNT. NOT A DRUG FREE AREA EITHER, NOT A SAFE AREA FOR KIDS TO PLAY EITHER. OVERALL NOT THE PLACE RECOMMENDED.
I have lived at Nova Glen Apartments for a year and recently renewed for another year. Each time I call for a maintenance issue, the staff has been on top of getting the repair completed quickly. The maintenance technician here is always very happy and pleasant. He makes having an issue a good experience. Sincerely, Happy Resident
