NOVEL South Capitol

Novel is a great community in a great area. I love the amenities and really enjoy looking at the capitol from my balcony. Very pleased overall

The building, leasing staff, maintenance crew, and receptionists are all fantastic. I have really enjoyed my time here at Novel South Capitol.

I like my apartment and the concierge has been great! The small dog park helps so much when having a dog, and there is a good community of people here.

Great community here at novel! Leasing office goes above and beyond in terms of community engagement. However, don’t expect any sort of negotiations if you’re moving in, they do not budge .

Great staff! Great location. Great atmosphere. People who love dogs, have a growth mindset, and are happy and friendly live here. Complimentary coffee from Any Day Now with your resident mug. Parking is pricier than most ($350/month).

I had a great move in experience coming from Florida with Novel! The experience was smooth and easy and I was supported by the helpful staff members.

Everything about living at Novel has been great, from maintenance, to the leasing office and even the front desk staff. All of the Novel staff is friendly and helpful and a special shout out to Becca and Steph!

My experience so far has been great! The few minor issues I’ve had have been handled quickly and with so much kindness! I’m loving living here and cannot say enough good things about the staff and customer service!

I’ve been a resident for four years and I must say, it offers a blend of modern luxury and urban convenience. Loves: 1. Location: Situated near Nationals Park, the apartment’s proximity to key attractions, dining options, and public transit is unbeatable. Whether you’re heading out for a game, a walk by the waterfront, or a night out, everything is within easy reach. 2. Amenities: The building is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The rooftop lounge with stunning views of the Capitol and the city skyline is a standout. The gym is spacious and well-maintained, making it easy to stick to fitness goals. 3. Design: The apartments are beautifully designed with modern finishes, high ceilings, and large windows that allow plenty of natural light. The kitchen and bathrooms feel luxurious, and the layouts maximize space efficiently. 4. Community: The management organizes community events, which is a nice touch for residents looking to connect with neighbors.

I had a seamless transition moving to Novel. I’m very impressed with the building, the amenities, and the staff. One of the best places to live in Navy Yard!

The apartment has such a great vibe. Feels right at home. Everything is clean and new. No smell of smoke which was huge for us. Staff is so helpful and friendly. The rooftop is the best feature of this place and we spend almost every evening up there enjoying the views.

I’ve only been a resident for 48 hours, but so far, it’s been great. All the concierges have been super kind and helpful, and the residents I’ve encountered have also been great. The location is unmatched, and the views from the roof are breathtaking.

This apartment is really nice and is a big step up from where I used to live. I appreciate that the studio I live in actually has the bedroom separated from the living room with a wall and door unlike a lot of one bedrooms a saw in this area which just had sliding glass doors as the wall. The amenities are nice and make the price worth it for the most part. The staff that works here is really friendly and helpful which makes living here a great time. The only things I would change if I could is for my room to be a little bigger and a little cheaper but it still feels like it’s worth it overall. The area here overall is pretty good with lots of things to do. I don’t really have any issues with the location and I don’t find it to really be dirty or dangerous like other places I’ve been to.

I really enjoyed living at Novel South Capitol. The amenities (gym, pool, clubhouse, etc.) are always clean, and the rooftop views are amazing. It’s in a great location. Keith, one of the concierge members is fantastic—always helpful and friendly. Though the rent is a bit high, it’s worth it for the convenience and experience.

The building is clean, mostly quiet, and the best apartment I’ve ever had. Keith at the East tower front desk is the Novel MVP. He keeps this place in check.

Novel really lives up to it's description of a luxury apartment. It is always clean and staff has decorated it so nicely and continues to update furniture. Maintenance is prompt and proactive anytime there's an issue in the building, gym or my personal apartment. There are 2 gyms and they're usually pretty empty which is nice compared to my experience with other apts in the area. The 360 rooftop is amazing with a stunning view of the Capital, multiple fire pits, grills and seating areas. PS you get free drip coffee at the cafe connected to the lobby for being a resident! You won't regret living at Novel!

Our experience at Novel has been great. Unfortunately, we have to move out because of work but the Novel/Bozzuto team has made the move out process so easy and streamlined. That we greatly appreciate.

I had a horrible start before I was even fully moved in. That just colored my whole experience as just one big terrible time for me. The only thing this apartment had going on was that it was just a 7 minute drive from work. (Only after I was able to secure my own parking spot after being on the waitlist for 4 months.) But even then, it still costs $350 to park at the apartment building. It was either that or walk a mile in Southeast DC with a taser in hand to park at a parking garage for $200.

Great experience. The apartments and facilities are amazing, as are the whole team at the Novel. An amazing location in navy yard so close to the city.

An excellent way to live in Washington! Outstanding location, wonderful amenities among a very exciting environment. All forms of transportation are nearby, a wide array of grocery stores and other amenities.

We absolutely love it here so far. Moving from NYC, we were used to “luxury” buildings with limited amenities. NOVEL has so much to offer and everyone has been so nice and helpful so far. The building is well maintained and there’s always events going on. Excited to be part of the community!
