Cheesman Park gives residents a place to call home within walking distance to most amenities. This calm, laidback residential area is best known for its namesake green space known for its large grassy lawns, shaded jogging trails, and neoclassical marble pavilion with dazzling fountains. You can find live performers and diverse, inclusive cultural events throughout the year here. Cheesman Park is home to the Denver Botanic Gardens as well, attracting locals and visitors to view gorgeous themed gardens.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver, the large residential homes and mansions of earlier days have given way to towering high-rise homes with views of the Mile High City and charming apartments in mid-rise buildings. Cheesman Park is one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Denver and offers a great location. There are several cozy coffee shops, cafes, and craft-cocktail bars surrounding the neighborhood.

Property Ratings at NUVO
I just recently moved into Nuvo, and have been really pleased with the experience. The management staff, especially Cole, has been very responsive and has taken care of all my needs in my new home. Great experience.

Thank you for the feedback and review! We take great pride in making Nuvo an ejoyable place to call home.
I have never written a review for anything in my life. This apartment has been so bad that I had to. It is an unsafe and neglectful place to live. My mental health has never been worse thanks to the neglects that I will get into later. I read the reviews about this apartment before renting. I remember thinking "I'm sure it can't be that bad, everyone is always upset with property managers." Do not make the same mistake I did. I have lived in 7 different buildings, this isn't even comparable to a real building and by a long shot. It is unlivable and management repeatedly ignored safety concerns that I have brought to their attention. Here are some details. As other people have said, we were given less than one day's notice to remove our balcony furniture. Management wanted to paint the exterior. So they taped ALL our windows. The entire apartment was almost completely dark. This email said that the painting process would last "a few days," which even then, feels unreasonable to not see out of your windows. This paint process lasted 6 weeks. And management never once told us this. No timeline, no updates, no nothing. I emailed and called repeatedly until someone finally answered. This was after a few days. She said "we are not sure, it could take weeks." 6 weeks later the paint job was not finished. I had LOST my mind by then from not being able to see out. So I tore down the covers. Management still has not sent an email regarding the paint job. Meaning the tapes could still be up today, 5 months later. In October, we spent three weeks in 45 degree temperatures with no heat. Management was completely unresponsive and again, after great effort, when I contacted them, they gave vague answers that frankly gaslit my experience. They told me it wasn't cold enough. When the truth was that they were late to get on the HVAC schedule. This was confirmed by a property manager. My smoke detector stopped working in November. I filed for a work order immediately. The work order was not filled until February. For a smoke detector. Additionally, at some point in January, someone entered our apartment and took it. With no notice, follow-up, or a replacement. These are a few examples. There are more that other folks have written about. You don't have to believe me. I did believe the reviews that I had read. I hope you do because I genuinely wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Wishing you all the best of luck with your apartment search.

New management that has taken over is AWFUL. Chose to paint the building with ONE DAY heads up (go get your furniture! We’re not responsible if it gets painted) chose to “update” fixtures in the hallway making it look ghetto. Maintenance requests were ignored at least one month (were looking to hire someone!) laundry unit (2 out of 6 dryers) broken and completely ignored for MONTHS (up to the residents to contact third party company!) completely ignored elevators being down- At one of two elevators broken at one time for an on going 2 months. (It’s because residents have a bad distribution of weight!) WHAT????? You can’t run a building and it’s OUR fault??? But wait, there’s more! There’s a door on the side of the building that DOESNT CLOSE. It’s broken which means anyone could wonder up and walk into this building. And the most recent fun- threatening that ANY dog owner will be fined $50 for EVERY bag left on the property. So if there’s 5 bags from other people left outside… every dog owner gets $250 fine. Honorable mention of complaints- hot water turned off, no credit was given. HVAC heat was delayed turning on and apartments were freezing for weeks. Basement parking flooded, “come identify your vehicle and none of this is our fault”. Mind you- garage door has been faulty and broken on and off entire time I’ve lived here. Oh yeah, and they don’t give a crap about maintaining parking lot. Completely iced over after it snows. No salt no anything. Hope you own a winter car. UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CHEAP PEOPLE.
