The city of Alvin is a suburban community located about thirty miles south of Downtown Houston and thirty miles northwest of Galveston. The unique central location allows residents to easily access to nearby urban amenities as well as the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, each just a few minutes’ drive away. Alvin holds a distinct place in baseball history as the longtime home of legendary pitcher Nolan Ryan, and a local museum is dedicated to the Hall of Famer.
Primarily a residential suburb, Alvin’s shopping and dining options are spread out across the community, with locally-owned favorites like Caboose BBQ and Alvin Seafood and Grill within walking distance for many. Alvin Community College on the south side serves around 5,000 students, and employs many locals as faculty and staff members.

Property Ratings at Oak Hollow
This place has roaches and rats all thu the ENTIRE complex save yourself the sleep less nights of wondering if a rat is in you food or wondering will they try to get on your bed tonight. the surrounding area is great but believe me this apartment complex is anything but great good or even decent this is a true nightmare apartment
The community is safe, quiet and the staff here are extremely helpful. The best apartment you can find in this area. Office staff are very helpful and fast move-in process
The floor plan is almost perfect . The community out here is awesome and the location.
I have been living here for a few months and it is quiet and peaceful. Rent is inexpensive, good space.
I have been living here for a few months and it is quiet and peacefull and its nice, no complaints.
A wonderful experience renting an apartment at OAKS place. Also, if something needed fixing in the apartment, someone came within an hour or two. Really appreciated this wonderful service. Thanks for everything!"
A wonderful experience renting an apartment at OAKS place. Overall i loved the it.
Its the best place is Alvin near by shopping area and very well maintained .
The facilities were always well-kept which was a plus! Management staff was super helpful and personable whenever I went in there.
The best place to live. Never seen such type of floor plan. I like how they keep everything clean and the rooms look great.
We have been here over A year now and absolutely are Happy. We have great neighbors.

A wonderful experience renting an apartment at OAKS place. Overall i loved the it.
I have been staying at OAKS for the past 1 year and its been an amazing experience starting from the leasing to amenities and amazing floor plans .
Becky and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and efficient facilitating our move-in. We are very satisfied with the entire experience.
Been here for a month. Staff is friendly and the property is well kept. Generally it's pretty quiet and peaceful.
I love the area. Very quiet, Maintenance don't take long to fix things, kid friendly, staff are nice and care about your concerns and needs.
This is a wonderful place to live! I love working with the staff! They are so efficient! They always make sure everything is working properly and it is a safe place to live!
I had a sink drain plug that was so very difficult to pull up and down where the service team did an excellent job "untightening" an item beneath the sink to fix it wonderfully. Now it is like my other bathroom for ease of use. Thank the to men again for me! Hope all are enjoying the spring weather!Immediately the service man came and took care of our problem. He was friendly n did an excellent job!"
Seriously, this place is awful. It looks pretty from the street, but move in and you just inherited the last person's problems they couldn't resolve with the owner and manager. THERE IS NO MANAGER OR MAINTENANCE ON SITE!! No maintenance performed-EVER. Manager and owner ignores your calls/texts/emails for repairs. Mold and water leaks in units, electrical problems cited by city Fire Marshall. Mold is painted over. (I have pics for proof). Visible roof and shingle damage. There is still damage from Hurricane Harvey in my unit that no one has even bothered to see. I sent pics and videos via email and text of the damage to the manager and owner right after the storm. Not to mention the bathroom leak since last July that has caused major mold in the bathroom and bedroom below due to the leak. Again, no repairs other than to apply inches of silicon caulk where the water poured through the sheetrock and slapping some white paint over the mold. If you actually choose to move in (NOT my suggestion), keep your rent receipts. You will need it because they will claim you haven't paid and you will need your receipts to keep them from trying to evict you. This has happened to many of us. Also, if you look at other sites of their other properties, you will find that the same people write the same "amazing reviews" while living at numerous complexes at the same time. It's funny how several "residents" can live at multiple complexes at the exact same time. For instance John Doe writes a review stating he's lived at Oak Hollow for 3 months, The Palms at Cypress Creek for the past year and Palms at Cypress Station for the past 10 months....amazing how he can live at all 3 complexes at the same time. He must have mastered time travel. Or maybe management just thinks no one will pay attention to those details.
Everyone here is terrific. So friendly and helpful .The service is second to none. I absolutely love living here! It's been over two years and I have no intention of leaving. I love my upgraded home. It's far nicer than the townhouse I used to own and worry-free! I love living here. I am very impressed with the place and would give it my highest recommendation to anyone who asked.
