Property Ratings at Oak Hollow Apartments
At first everyone was friendly and welcoming, but as soon as you sign that lease everything changes. It is nearly impossible to get ahold on anyone in the office. There were shreds of metal all in the “new” carpet and sticker burs all in the carpet. I’ve been here for 7 months and have vacuumed 3 times a week and still find stuff all in the carpet. The “new” laminate floor in the kitchen wasn’t even glued down. If you stand in the kitchen bare foot the floor comes up as you step. Maintenance is not reliable at all. We’ve had 3 occurrences where we needed maintenance and they never showed. One being a huge deal. Their building structure is horrible you can feel the slant as you walk across the house and the building has shifted 2 inches in the last 4 months and the “forget” to come check it out. Parking is horrible if you live in the back. Neighbors are not friendly at all and leave rude notes on your door assuming we’ve “broken her garbage disposal/pipes” They “mow” the lawn every 2-3 days and by mow I mean stand around while their loud machines run pretending to work. I could go on and on with reasons not to live here.
I have lived here almost two years and I completely feel at home. I've always had good experiences living in apartments. This one is no different. I'm super impressed with how quiet the community is. Neighbors are friendly. The grounds always look immaculate and maintenance is completed promptly. I live downstairs and I do hear noise from upstairs. Sometimes it's annoying but it's always tolerable. No upstairs units have hard flooring so that helps. I'm currently in a unit with carpet but will try to upgrade to all hard flooring. The faux wood that is installed in the kitchen and bath is super easy to keep clean. The amenities are minimal here but the neighborhood and leasing office personnel make up for that, in my opinion. I plan on staying a long time. Oh, and for anyone worried about bugs, I've never had a single bug in my apartment! Parking is plentiful. I have noticed a few cars, that NEVER move are parked close to the building which is prohibiting other drivers to park closer. Those drivers should be more respectful and park farther away if they're never going to use the vehicle. Great community.
I haven't had any major problems with this apartment complex and any issues (very minor) have been resolved in a timely manner. Monica and Lizzy are always helpful and have answered any questions or concerns that I've had over the last year. It's a great place to live and I'd highly recommend it.
The friendly and reliable staff alone is more than worth the price. I love it here. Maintenance is prompt. Also, great location for shopping, yet the traffic isn't too bad, and the neighbors are nice and considerate. I'm a single male, almost 30, and I have the A2 plan.. plenty of room.
Hi my name is Amber and think that these are some great apartments and by me begin a first renter I think the price is great very reasonable and by me going to college and having a part time job will be a stress load but I will have to make ends meet was also trying to work and get a car but most of all I cant wait to move in
My husband and I visited these apartments while searching for one to call home. The lady that showed us was VERY nice and the apartment was VERY clean. (We looked at the 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment.) It was quiet and the neighborhood was clean. Very decent priced. If and when I move, this apartment will be the one we move to.
Oak hollow is a great place to call home. Very nice and comfortable size apartments.
I didn't like how the 1 bedroom did not have a w/d connection. I liked the fireplace and the staff was friendly.
