I have been a resident for 17.5 years and have found the staff to be very friendly and responsive to my requests. The grounds are kept very clean and colorful. Although I can only attend a few of the many varied activities. Problematic residents seem to move on quickly, and almost all others are cordial and engaging. The community is managed very well.

I love living here! Everyone is so nice and friendly and seem very happy to live here too. Neighbors for the most part respect each others enjoyment of living in a peaceful and quiet environment. Management is friendly and very attentive to tenants needs. The sense of community here is special. The events that are put on for the residents are far and above anything I've ever experienced in apartment living. I love living at Oak View of Sonoma Hills, it’s a great place to live, neighbors are friendly, there is plenty offered to do, card games, movie once a week, so if you are a person who wants to get out of your apartment but not to leave the complex, there’s places to sit and read, or join other tenants for catching up on what’s new in their life, or watch a movie once a week. I think it’s a great place to live.

Oak view is a nice place to live. The units are nice, some up grades are definitely needed. I have a kitchen sink that is full of hard water stain that is impossible to remove.

Although I am happy with many aspects of living at Oak View, I cannot recommend living here to anyone. The rent goes up $100 per month every yr…it’s why there’s so much turnover

The community is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. The walkways are clear and generally well-lighted. The Oak View grounds and facility seem as if they're always ready to throw an open house party. The grounds are kept in practically picture-perfect state.

Oak View has nice spacious apartments. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Lots of amenities a year-round heated pool. Lots of events, clean, quiet, pet friendly an overall really nice place to live. Free laundry mail service, pool parties ,movie room billiard room ,public office. You get what you pay for and these apartments are not cheap but it’s worth the price for what you get. Maintenance is fast and thorough. Any concerns? The office girls are always there to help. They do their best to enforce policies. It’s just a really nice quiet petty place to live.

Oak View is a spectacular community. The apartments are spacious and quiet. The staff is incredible. They really work to get people to know one another by encouraging group activities and special events. I love having a manicurist on site too. I especially love the gardens and landscaping it’s done so well. We are moving abroad. But…..if we return to US, I’d love to return to our Oak View family.

Oak View is a friendly apartment community with many opportunities for social interaction organized by Management and other residents. The grounds, including a large rose garden court yard, are beautiful and safe for walking at all hours of the day or night. The apartments are very pleasant and well designed for seniors. Oak View is also located close to restaurants, shopping and parks with easy access to highways.

Beautiful location, "It's just nice to be here," generally clean facility, friendly neighbors and staff, quick response to safety matters (a tree that had fallen was out of the area within hours), pool and common areas are used frequently. These are the types of things I'd want if I were looking for a new place to live.

We moved in at Oak View Senior Living in 2009. Have been very happy here. Before the pandemic hit, there was a lot of activities here at Oak View. We are looking forward to getting the activities going again as soon as things open up again. a lot of community involvement..

Oak View of Sonoma Hills is a wonderful pet friendly 55 community conveniently located in Rohnert Park with easy access to Highways 101, 12 & 116. The grounds are beautiful and the Clubhouse provides great amenities including a gym, pool, pool table, business center & library. A salon and massage therapy are also available. The residents are active, friendly and engage in community events. Oak View is a lovely place to call home.
