Property Ratings at Oakbrook Terrace Apartments
I had an appointment to see an Apartment and the Show Person never showed up at the scheduled time. Looks bad on them
5 stars great place to live.Friendly staff and apartment management.Good price and good location. New washers and dryers..Affordable and plenty of space. Good maintenance . Nice pool and pet friendly.. I would highly recommend checking this place out. It’s in walking distance to Walgreens and not far from Dillions.
This is my first apartment and I enjoy living here! When I first moved in there was a few things that stood out which was the chipped paint on the cabinet doors, dried up paint on the carpet floors and my tub was chipped at the bottom. Overall, it is nice neighborhood with good people and a nice place to stay.
Lived here a few years, lived in multiple apartments. Both apartments have had issues that were never resolved and any issues that were resolved took actual months. I stuck it out for a few years because I hate moving but the roaches are the final ticket for me. My first apartment did not have the issues but I keep the apartment spotless and it has been a problem since the first night I moved in. They don't even bother to walk through and spray anymore. Maintenance is an actual joke at these apartments, most of their stairs are falling apart, the a/c's are crumbling to dust, and the inside of the apartments is obviously not cleaned up or repaired after previous tenants leave. If your maintenance request is beyond the skill level requirement of changing a light bulb prepare to wait for a week at minimum. The only thing these apartments had going for them was the location with easy access to the interstate so you can get anywhere you want to go in town quickly and the cheap price. But the price has just skyrocketed up. They are charging hundreds of dollars more for the same roach infested unmaintained apartments that were once affordable. Do yourself a favor and pay a bit more for better managed and maintained apartments.
Peaceful low keyed neighborhood. Staff is very kind. Brenda will work with you to make sure you get the best care.
There were roaches as soon as we moved in. Took forever for pest control to come in and spray, even after that there are still a lot of roaches. A/C never works properly. Getting a hold of management is impossible, they don’t answer phones or emails and when you try to go to the office during their business hours they are never there. Bottom line DON’T MOVE IN HERE
They have bugs, the woodwork is soaked in urine from the previous owners, they stapled down the carpet and sprayed it with a chemical that burns my eyes, the appliances are falling apart. I’m paying $2,000+ to get out of the lease, but it will be worth it! This place is detrimental to my health!!!
My Son recently moved away from us and I couldn't be more pleased with the location he has chosen to call home. During these times of added stress and the new normal of "mandates" it pleasant to have an office staff that is knowledgeable and encouraging. The cleanliness of the apartment was a relief. Most definitely 5?????
I've lived here for years. Love how the management and maintenance staff go out of their way to throw parties and other events to make it a home. They are always willing to help with any problems. Any issues with my apt is usually fixed within 24 hours of being reported! I'm really gonna miss this place when I move.
its a decent apartment complex, but it sure would be great to have a free apartment.
The apartment manager and maintanence were apathetic and negligent when it comes to leaks and mold in the ceiling and carpet. I would highly discourage anyone to move in there. At the beginning of June, my air conditioner started draining into my apartment. I reported it to the office and they sent down the maintenance guy who put down a large fan to dry the carpet and bucket to "fix" the problem, as well turn the thermostat up to keep it from draining as much The manager stated she would contact a professional to fix the problem and they never came. At one point they had cut a hole in the ceiling to actually look at the leak and they just left there to leak out of on to the carpet and let it sit and mold for two weeks.
