About Oakland Apartments
Murfreesboro has been designated the Most Livable Town in Tennessee. As one of the fastest growing cities in the state, it provides a high quality of life with great opportunities for education, employment, and entertainment. The city also benefits from the proximity of several highways, U.S. Routes, and State Routs. In this thriving atmosphere, The Cove at Center Point provides you with a quiet getaway without needing to actually “go away.” Situated in the geographic center point of Tennessee, The Cove is a stone’s throw from MTSU, the largest undergraduate university in the state. We believe that, even when you live in the “center of it all,” your home should still be a sanctuary.

Consistently ranking as one of the best places to live in the country, Murfreesboro is growing fast – and for good reason! Settled in 1811, this city was named for a Revolutionary War hero, and it’s held its historic roots ever since. Residents can explore the city’s local history at a variety of museums, including the Oaklands Historic Museum, the Bradley Academy Museum, and the Stones River National Battlefield. Murfreesboro is also home to Middle Tennessee’s only Museum of Natural History.
For those who enjoy cultural events and entertainment, the Murfreesboro Center for the Arts hosts concerts, live theater performances, and more. Enjoy the local events around the city, such as the Main Street Music Jazzfest and the International Folk Fest! Murfreesboro’s local university, Middle Tennessee State University, is growing just as quickly as the city itself. This top-notch institution is known for its programs in aerospace and music, and adds to the artistic charm of Murfreesboro.

Property Ratings at Oakland Apartments
Management and staff are rude and don't care about any issues you have with your apartment. They are only concerned with getting your rent which is overpriced considering how old and junky they are and how dangerous the neighborhood is. They will move anyone in so get ready for some terrible neighbors. My car was hit while parked and totaled yet no one saw anything. Police are always in the parking lot and there was a lady stabbed to death from a home invasion. Seriously, look up the article. Maintenance is unqualified and unresponsive. Dogs and cats roam the property. I would highly recommend not living here.
I have no complaints about the apartments. I have lived there for about 5 years now. It was very convenient and affordable when I first moved in being that I was a struggling college student. Since then, I have gotten a little more on my feet, graduated, and ready for something new. My lease is up in November and I will be moving across town. Out of the 5 years that I have lived there, I have not had any major problems. I am just longing to get away from the college atmosphere; however, it is SO expensive to live by yourself. I am not sure if it is just the middle tennessee area or not, but it is definitely a hassle.
Friendly neighbors! No loud parties right next door! Super quiet and lovely place to live - plus it is right across from campus!
These apartments are in a great area for students, being within walking distance of the university. Unfortunately, the apartments are too small and have almost no storage space. The machines in the laundry room are constantly in need of repair.
