Property Ratings at Oaks at St. Andrews
a minute ago NEW DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! This deserves a 0 star review!! They will not give you back your deposit after leaving, even if you follow the checkout list on your lease. They will lie and refuse the refund! There is flies and bugs everywhere! The management team is extremely hard to get ahold of, and when you finally do get ahold of them, they are USELESS! They come into the apartment unannounced. The "pest control" isn't done properly. I have on camera them coming in, looking through my stuff, being rude to my pets, and NOT spraying for bugs. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
These apartments are a waste of money. Cabinets hanging on a thread, no pest control are done (so spiders, roaches, mice), thin walls, maintenance rarely comes to fix a thing. I found painted over pieces of hair, doorknobs are trash, no dishwasher, mailboxes are open basically to the public. Better hope your kids don’t wanna play in the front yard cause no one cleans their dog poop up. Choose wisely
It’s been about a week maybe 2 since I’ve moved in .. the moving process like waiting to get approved didn’t take long at all .. the apartment manager who helped me MR.Jay was great showed about 3 different units , ALL very nice , all looked different so you have choices lol .. it’s real big and they allow big dogs with no restrictions.. I love it here so far
Left with a flooded apartment for months. Management said they fixed it when they didn’t. Was then told to stop contacting them. Ignored my certified letter to break the lease.
I hate this apartment and maintenance never comes and fixes anything and this apartment has mold in them and this apartment are every unhealthy.
I love my apartment here! It is very large and they accept large dogs. Most places frown on big dogs but when you have one what can you do. I wouldn't give up my dog or apt. The staff have been super helpful and friendly. Christie W.
I moved in mid July and had nothing but problems for the 4 months that I was there. I had contractors leave my apartment a mess and my doors unlocked while I was away for work. The apartment was not treated for fleas. But most importantly my apartment was broken into and my stuff was stolen and what wasn't stolen was destroyed after which I promptly moved out. STAY AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS! You have been warned, and other sad thing was they had new residents coming in and not telling them that they just had a break in on their complex.
I've lived here since 2010 and at first they were great, had no problems, property management was excellent and timely with fixing things. Fast forward to late 2013 to now where property management changed. Management is nice and the maintenance team is super but we have had a mice infestation for the past few years and it is a continuing problem. The pest control people have come out and have said to board up all the holes and things in the apartments and structurally, but that obviously hasn't happened. When you catch 10 mice in a weeks time, there is a HUGE problem! Let's not even talk about what cold blooded thing was slithering around in my apartment the other day, mouse hunting!!! They are trying to revamp, paint, and make the property nicer on the outside but I'm going to need for them to fix their mouse problem!!!!!! I haven't resigned a lease since May 2015 and I don't plan on it (i'll gladly pay a higher fee), looking for somewhere else affordable to live, but until then we must suffer. They aren't overall horrible, but I can't look past this issue.
I really liked living here. It was clean and the manager was helpful and answered all my questions. The reason why I didn't rate it a 5 is because I feel like it is over priced and the late fees are really high but they do allow pets including big dogs and I like that. I like the fact the spray for bugs in the spring and the grounds are kept nice. Over all I have enjoyed staying in this apartment.
