Spring is a suburban community located just thirty minutes north of downtown Houston, practically right next door to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The city’s population has grown enormously since the year 2000, but the small-town atmosphere remains one of Spring’s most distinctive features. Many Houston-area commuters choose to settle here for the quiet atmosphere, and parents love the low crime rate and the selection of excellent public schools.
The lush green parks on the banks of Spring Creek provide tranquil retreats for a relaxing afternoon, as well as an extensive network of trails and footpaths to explore. Folks from all across the Houston area come to Spring in the summer to visit the local SplashTown water park on the west side of the city.

Property Ratings at Oaks of Wimbledon
Great place for the price! I am renting my first apartment here and Ms. Daisy was so incredibly helpful and amazing! She made this process so smooth and easy and really does her best to help everyone out. Absolutely recommend living here!
The property is a great starter for first time renters. It's quiet and the staff is friendly, but Daisy is the best! Overall, very nice and affordable place.
Spent over a year living there, had to move due to change in employment, but if it was up to me, I would have remained there. One can never expect everything to be perfect, however, the apartments are nice and well maintained, the common areas are always being tended to. The maintenance people are always on top of any problem, so I am not only speaking for myself, since I would often see them solving somebody else situation. Maria, Daisy and all the staff, always responded quickly and efficiently to any maintenance issue that would arise. They are all courteous, friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend, especially for new families with small children. Well located, everything close, including Urgent Care, supermarket, banks, pharmacies etc. John Valor
Leasing office is closed sometimes for 2-4 hours in the day for “lunch” so it’s inconvenient especially when you’re trying to pay rent. They tell you that they won’t charge you for a late fee if you bring it before 12pm the day after it’s due because you’ve never been late but then make you pay the late fee at 10am when you’re trying to pay it 20 minutes after they called you. Maintenance is great, they usually get to you maybe an hour or 2 after you put in your request. Shared patio, so if you have our nosy neighbors then you’ll either get a baby banging on your patio doors or an adult looking into your apartment while they’re on their phone outside. Dog stations have been upgraded since moving in. Water pressure is terrible. Power WILL go out during a storm or any kind of rain but that’s expected honestly. Parking is an obvious issue, they also promise you an extra spot if you pay for it but as you’re signing your lease it’s suddenly a waitlist that takes over a year to even free up. Everyone wants an extra spot... Nice community except for our neighbors. They also changed our unit 2 times without telling us before we moved in. We needed internet set up so we called a week before and they told us our unit number, upon signing the lease they tell us it’s another number. They didn’t offer any kind of discount for the trouble it caused. If you’re considering a cheap starter apartment I would recommend. If you’re looking for somewhere to be comfortable look elsewhere.
Property Manager at Oaks of Wimbledon, Responded To This Review
We apologize that you feel this way. We strive in giving great customer service and to always be available to our residents whenever we are needed. Our office is open 7 days a week, M-F from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm, to allow us to provide that service. As stated on your lease, rent is due on the first of every month, but you have a grace period until the third, after that, on the fourth you are responsible for paying late fees. Also if you are experiencing any sort of issue, you are more than welcome to come to the office so we can address them. I rather hear them directly from you rather than to read about them. :) We value you as part of our Oaks of Wimbledon family, and we want you and your family to be happy.
I love living here!!! As soon as you walk into the office you are greeted and treated warmly. Ms. Daisy even greets you by your name, making you feel like you are not just not another resident living here!!! I truly recommend this community to all my closest and dearest family & friends...If I could give this wonderful place more than 10 stars I would!!!
I have lived at this community for quite some time now. All I can say about it is that it deff is a great place to live and to raise your kids. I moved here specifically bc of how good it is and the fact that its in a great school district. Its a safe place, I have even left my car door unlocked at times although I know I shouldn't but nothing has ever happened. They maintain the property very clean and the office staff is wonderful, especially Ms. Maria! I consider them family!! I recommend this community to all my friends and family!!!
This apartment complex is a great starter apartment. I have had no issues in my time here, the only reason I will leave in the future is to live somewhere a bit nicer. Never had an issue with safety or strangers; though like most complexes, parking late at night. Overall, I would definitely recommend for a friend on a budget.
My apartment is 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and there is a small kitchen 3 closets. it's in the first floor .
