San Antonio blends a rich heritage with modern innovation, resulting in a metropolis teeming with true Texan heart. San Antonio’s distinctive environment reflects centuries of style and a diverse array of culture, which is best exemplified in the La Villita Historic Arts Village. The Alamo may be the most renowned structure in the city, but there are plenty of magnificent historical buildings to see—from the Emily Morgan Hotel to the Meyer Halff House.
Stretched along the San Antonio River is the famous River Walk, where residents and visitors alike can walk or bike from the San Antonio Zoo to the Witte Museum, the historic Majestic Theatre, the Shops at Rivercenter, the Missions of San Antonio and back again.
The city and the surrounding region offer endless opportunities for exploration.

Property Ratings at OakStone Apartment Homes
This is a wonderful place then where I can sit at most places that I have seen this place is so wonderful set up beautifully not only that but the bottom line is this it's quiet as peaceful trash not all over the premises it's quiet in the morning quiet in the afternoon quiet in the evening I mean yes the laundry room is clean of course the washing machines is small but you have a choice you can even use it or not use it to go to a laundromat the staff is a amazing really had no issues so this is a great place and not only that but it's close to everything stores gas station Walmart HEB all different types of restaurants Austin Highway Perrin Beitel even got a restaurant right beside the place.
Security friendly minded staff and expert maintenance team. I say this as a residence of over four years and still loving it.
I have been living here for about 6 months now. Here is a list of Pros and Cons that I wish I would have known before moving in. Pros: - Willing to work with poor credit score - Dog park/pet friendly - Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner - Emails returned promptly - Several small buildings that have 4 washer's and 4 dryer's - Apartments seem renovated to an extent, mine was except the bathroom. - Staff tries to maintain appearance of property. Adding new rocks and plants to complex. - 2/1 apartment electric, trash, and water are reasonable. Not included with rent. - They did raise the rent, however was warned since the market value is at this rate. - Office tries to maintain property to the best of their ability. Cons: - Tenants DO NOT pick up after their pets, dog poop on the sidewalk, grass and the smell is very very bad (I am a pet owner). - Front gate has been BROKEN since I moved in, I have asked about it being fixed but I was told they were waiting for parts (6 months later still broken). - SAFETY CONCERNS , random people walk around the complex all hours of the night, especially homeless people. - Broken fence in the back of the complex, which many people enter the complex through. - Tenants leave trash all over the complex, staff has to pick it up daily. - Washer and dryers are small - Walls are VERY VERY thin. I can hear my neighbor above me constantly. - 1st floor patio beware, I encounter ashes and cigarette buds from my above nieghbor constantly. The 2nd floor patios are not solid on the bottom, so any trash or anything really falls onto my patio. Because of this I am unable to use my patio. - Homeless people have been trying to break into empty apartments, once again safety issue. I would suggest installing cameras or a security system if you live in the back. - Dog park has so much dog poop, it smells really bad and is hard to enjoy -Parking, yes they have tow trucks constantly so make sure you are on top of registering your vehicles if you have company. - No WASHER/DRYER HOOKUPS - No carports available. - A few packages have been stolen since I have lived here. - Some not all neighbors are loud, since the walls are thin you can hear everything. * Overall the place is decent, however due to the increase in crime and presence of random people I do not feel safe living here anymore. However if my credit was better and COVID was not around I would have chosen another apartment complex to live at.
I like it here because they have a very good maintenance team and I feel at home. The office have organized staff ..I am happy to live here..thanks you
This has to be the worse apartment I have ever lived in. My boyfriends apartment had roaches the day he moved in they just keep coming back. The staff is super rude. They are only open Monday -Friday and only until 5pm.... they take he packages in the office.. if you have a normal hour job good luck ever getting it. But they take packages on Saturday but do not allow you in the office to get your package! My friends car has been towed twice! The pool is so dirty... look at the pictures on the website they are even nasty in the pictures! I would never recommend these apartments to anyone.
The staff is really friendly. They try to take care of any maintenance issues in a timely manner. I’ve lived here for over two years and I’ve not had any problems. The remodeling was a little difficult, but it was needed. They did a beautiful job with the remodeling. The price is great as well. Now, it’s an immaculate place to live and I would definitely recommend them. Liz Resendiz
First have been here in these Apts over five years. It is at its worst it is roach infested because company changed pest control. Also they tow cars here. Renters. Renters are treated the worst. Rent is raised every year. Apt makes new rules to try to get extra money out of renters. Water bill is fifty dollars a month. In summer your car my be broken in. Nothing is fixed because apt do not care about renters. Renters in this apt are victims. The worst part is they will charge unnessary fees and kick you out and laugh about it. Heartless apartment management. Have had 2 cars towed.costind total of 440 dollars.
I would NOT recommend moving to these apartments, the roaches and ants will beat you to your own food!!! Your car will be towed at least twice during your stay !! My lease will be up in 2 months if you want a real tour come on by building 6 and I’ll let you view all the cracks in my walls you can literally see outside! Save your time and money because the managers won’t give you corporates number she’s a heartless witch and I’m so ready for my lease to be up!!! -Sincerely A miserable resident !
Worst apartments ever, they have roaches, they refuse to spray for bugs, this place has wrong fully towed my car twice at a cost of $440.00 and all they say is "not my problem". The (2 sparkling pools) they have are nasty and are not taken care of. You can hear gunshots from your porch, very loud apartments. The management will like to you about everything, they will never fix anything and they treat you horribly. Do not live here, I promise you will be as misreble as me.
I went to get information on this property and the older lady in front can not speak any english and it was extremely frustrating trying to understand her. As i was there many people came into the office to pay and discuss other issues as the two other employees (a guy and a lady with very short hair) were attending to them. I asked to speak with the Property Manager which i was told her name was Alexandra, i assumed was the lady in her own office by herself, so i could further continue my enquiries but it was like as soon as she saw all the people in the office she ingored all of is and ran out the back as if to not want to deal with us there in the office when there was clearly alot of people that she could have helped. Do not go to these apartments unless u want to be treated horrible.
They have new management that doesn't know what being professional is. Security harassing the tenants. Tow company towing cars with parking sticker and visitor tags on them. The apartment water gets cut off every other week for maintiance. Raise rent every renewal for an apartment not worth what they what to charge. Office hours are from 8-5 weekdays ONLY.
My husband and I can not wait to we move out! We did read some reviews but we are the kind of people that we have to see it to believe it. We have been there only 9 months and we have already talked about moving into a hotel and have a broken lease on our records because 1.) We had a bad leak from the living room windows that had a HUGE hole in it. They said they were going to get est. on it to see how much it would be to get it repaired. They have been in my house 1 time. Never heard back from them. This was in March. 2.)In April, we started to notice some roaches, we thought.. okay we live in a apartment.. then they said they were going to have someone come out that Wednesday to spray.. my brother waited there all day and nobody showed up. I called the office and they said we were already marked off the list. Someone had already came to my house. 3.)They charge $3 a month for pest control and NEVER has pest control come to my house. 4.) We have complained about the roach infestation and we have YET to hear back from them! 5.) There was a leak in my kitchen sick that was going to my down stairs neighbors. They came into my home and made 3 big cuts in my wall to fix the leak. They fix the leak and now I have 3 huge cuts in my wall. They never came back to caulk it back in place, or repaint it. It look disgusting. I wish I could post pictures. Please take my advice. DO NOT MOVE IN.
My boyfriend and I were thinking about applying, but after reading the reviews, we say NOPE!
I wouldn't renew my contract here. There are numerous bugs that get inside because of the large gap in our front door from cockroaches, mosquitoes, and small lizards. Water leaks and has caused black mold that maintenance has yet to fix.
Its located right on Loop 410, which is perfect since I ride the bus. Bus stops are super close by! Also huge, well worth the money. Maintenance can be hit and miss, but if you stay on them they get it done. All around good!
Some think it's a great location, BUT have you lived here? It's SUPPOSE to be gated, but its open all the time including over night. They have a back gate off Perrin Beitel which is only opened 9-5. We tenants have to waste our time and gas to go all the way up 410 and exit Starcrest to turn around just to come home. MAKE THE BACK GATE ACCESSIBLE! Quit putting your tenants to be inconvenient!!! Also, if you want us to pick up our dogs MESS...then fill up the cans with more bags. I heard a lady ask for some a month ago and its still not filled!! If you do for the tenant, the tenant would do for you!
This place is awful they fix nothing and hot water does not work at all. They are rude and over charge people. Maintenance do not know what they are doing.
Large roaches, structural damage, old appliances. The office staff is nice until you've moved then when something needs to be fixed they are rude and avoid you !Thank god I have 3 months left on my lease . There is a reason why you get approved so easily, think about it!!!
