Northwest Austin includes the region north of Tarrytown to just south of Cedar Park, extending from the Mopac Expressway eastward to Lake Travis. Much of the area on the west side is consumed by park space – St. Edward’s Park, Bull Creek District Park, Emma Long Metropolitan Park, and others weave together to form a vast wooded area next to the lake. These parks offer hiking trails to small waterfalls, swimming, and boating opportunities.
Neighborhoods in Northwest Austin include Northwest Hills, McNeill, Jollyville, and Anderson Mill. While the open green space and lakes might be the initial draw, you’ll soon find plenty to do here, from shopping at Lakeline Mall to visiting the Austin Aquarium. The Mopac Expressway provides convenient commutes into nearby Downtown Austin as well as to the University of Texas at Austin.

Property Ratings at Oakville Apartments
Don't be fooled by the decent reviews for this complex. The leasing agents are super nice but If you choose to live here, you will be greeted with incompetent and negligent management. Multiple units are infested with roaches and there are loud noises and parties every night, all night. Maintenance will be rude to you if you place any work orders. They also rarely empty the trash compactor and the scent will spread all the way across to the complex. This place is a dirty mess, and a horrible leasing experience. I would rate 0 stars if I could.
This is not a place to live. Other than having the worst management ever, you gonna live with mice. We had to move just after four months before our lease ends. It is a DIRTY place. Did you get it? dirty means DIRTY
Multiple large maintenance issues that they let sit for days or weeks at a time. Previously dealt with no electricity in the kitchen that took them more than a week to fix. Currently dealing with water damage from a leak in another apartment. Mold is growing. Visible green and black mold. Yes they’re aware of it. They’ve been aware of it for the last 7 days. What’s been done is they’ve put a few holes in the wall. What’s yet to be done is fix the wall in the hallway by the stairs, fix the walls in the laundry room, fix the molding and door frame in the laundry room, fix the molding down the stairs, and rip up or dry the carpet. José has done a great job, but the apartments are VERY POORLY BUILT. We’ve been here since November and had four major maintenance issues (hot water heater, electrical, AC (still an issue), and now water damage. I do not recommend that anyone move here. It has perks but they’re not worth it.
I have had a really good experience here at Oakville especially with the new changes being made. The staff is awesome. I love Jeremy and Emily they are the nicest people and super helpful with everything. The only bad thing I can say is parking sucks!!!
I lived in bell tech for 6 years, it used to be rattan creek an imt property, the imt staff knew us and was so helpful and caring, the bell tech staff is rude and after you sign your lease does not care about you, the parking is horrible, my brothers car and at least 5 other cars were broken into last year alone. The back gate does not lock so people can just come in, the walls are thin so you can definitely hear your neighbors. They never call you back and you have to call more than once to get anybody to care. The pool is always closed crowded or dirty. I used to the complex but now am moving. It’s no longer a safe fun place to live, not a community, but now a residence:(
PLEASE STAY AWAY... The Staffs, Assistant Manager or Manager are Rule. No Help if you got a problem while you live. their job just want your money as many as they can even you moved out already. No Parking lot after 6-7pm. Parking Area is dirty. So, very be careful if you still try to live.

Love the community and the response of the maintenance team. The walking trail around the community is very peaceful and amazing. Plus the office staff is very responsive and care for your needs.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with a 5-star review! Hearing that our staff members were able to make a positive experience in your stay here is truly wonderful! Our staff works hard to provide residents with Hassle Free Living in a place they are proud to call home and are happy to be able to do this for you! We believe the location, staff, and amenities are some of the best things this community has to offer and cant wait for you to experience them all! Thank you again for the review. -Kathy, Bell Reputation Team
We've been here for seven years. The staff I want to discuss has not been here very long, but it doesn't take long to recognize sincerity, desired helpfulness, job-intelligence, and courtesy. This complex is obviously a "happy" place to work because everyone from top management down are always smiling. Specifically, we want to call out Daniel in maintenance, Kendra who seems to do everything, plus Estella and Julia - the top brass. Everyone in every business tries to give good service, but this group delivers stellar service. You make our lives very pleasant.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review! We appreciate your feedback, especially from someone who has lived in this community for seven years! Our team at Bell works hard to provide residents with the luxury of Hassle Free Living in a place they are proud to call home and are happy to be able to do this for you! It is reassuring to know that you are able to tell that these men and women truly love their job and care deeply for their residents. I will be sure to pass these kind words along to them! Thank you again for your review, we look forward to serving you in the future :) -Kathy, Bell Reputation Team
I normally do not submit reviews. But after my experience with the management and stay at this community for over 2 and a half years, I felt compelled to express my frustration. I have lived in this community three separate times each under a different management company, Bell Tech being the worse!!! These apartments are located in a great area which is why I stayed for two years but their management and maintenence crew are horrible!!! The apartments are 17 years old and need a lot more attention then they are receiving. My apartment had a huge water leak the whole length of my stay and the maintenance never came out to repair the separating drywall from the water leak in my apartment. The gates around the community frequently are inoperative, the trash compactor is always full and overflowing with trash, the parking situation is atrocious, and the management has no desire to correct any of it. To make things worse when I moved out they sent me a cleaning bill for over 400$ when I left the apartment in the same condition I recieved it. I disputed the charges with Leo the manager at the time and they still sent me to collections. I could go on and on about how bad the management is at this community and if I could post pictures to this review I would!!! Bottom line, if you are thinking about moving into this community make sure you throughly perform a walk through of the apartment before signing the lease, marking any and everything you see. Especially bath tub not resurfaced, 120$ fine as I found out!!!! My suggestion to you if you are reading this before moving to this community would be to save yourself a headache and find another community to live in.
Property Manager at Oakville Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for writing this review. We will use your feedback as we move forward with making this the best apartment complex possible! We are sorry you have not had an enjoyable experience with the new management, Bell Partners. We at Bell work hard to create communities residents are proud to call home while providing them with Hassle Free Living and would like another opportunity to do this for you. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your location! We believe that and the amenities are some of the best things this community has to offer. We apologize for the miscommunication you had with maintenance. We understand how frustrating it can be to not have a problem resolved. We suggest that next time you put in a work order and make it urgent so it is fixed ASAP! We would be more than happy to explain to you why you were billed over $400 for cleaning. We want every resident who moves in to have a clean, beautiful apartment to walk into. We have a strong desire to correct the issues you have mentioned above and would love the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Please feel free to call us or stop by the office. We look forward to hearing from you. -Kathy, Bell Reputation Team
Truth be told look elsewhere. The management staff here is rude and doesnt care a bit about the residents. Maintenance issues took forever to be addressed when Bell Partners took over. Gated community-well sometimes, usually the gates were broken and they were to cheap to fix them. Grossly overpriced for terrible service and THEY WILL GOUGE YOU ON YOUR MOVE OUT...Everyone I know who has lived there has gotten a huge bill when they moved out for bogus cleaning charges even when the apartments were left in better shape than when you moved in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE
We moved here from Iowa 2 years ago and love the complex. Great for the kids and close enough to downtown or the Hill Country to get out and enjoy the area. Apartment was upgraded when we moved in and is still like new, pool area is great and the running trail out back can keep you on your toes.
Bell Tech Corridor is the perfect family starter apartment complex. The location is so convenient being close to multiple schools. We absolutely love all of the great food places that are within walking distance. The environment is fantastic, beyond our expectations. We have started our own little family here and we couldn't have picked a greater place.
Currently living in the three bedroom at Bell Tech Corridor. Its great. really spacious, nice new kitchen and cabinets. So far no complaints, it looks just as nice on the outside as it does on the inside. The staff there are so nice, they are helpful and are quick to any requests i need. It is in a really great spot on Parmer lane. quick access to HEB, 183 and mopac.
This is a great living community. Nice apartments, great amenities, and the location is fantastic. However, the property is aging, and the management and maintenance are having issues keeping up with needed repairs changes. These are second owners/management company, and not as customer friendly as the first owners, but they are getting much better. They have new staff who know and appreciate the tenants. They are renovating as they can, and new design/colors are very nice.
I have been in various Bell owned properties, mainly in NC where the headquarters is located. Moved to Austin in March, and I am assuming the overall apartment quality of the city is higher than in North Carolina. Pros: Bell Tech Corridor is located in North Austin, near some pretty large employers, Apple etc. and conveniently located near a Metro Rail station (I work downtown) and various HEB(s) and shops. Little Woodrows is a great neighborhood bar you can either bike or walk to and there is a park located right outside the gate's of the apartment complex. I rent a one bedroom which I would say is reasonably priced for Austin (though outrageous for NC) so I cannot complain about the price. The apartment is nicer than any of the other properties I've rented from them and offers more than enough space for my partner and I. The grounds need more attention, as kids throw toys and trash from balconies and people leave beer cans/bottles at the pool. I also wish they would clean the pool more (at another apartment I saw them do it before 10am every morning). Like everyone else says, the parking is atrocious. I don't know who came up with the idea of reserved parking for $30 a month (I've seen this in other places in Austin too) but it's complete BS. I have never experienced a place where I have to pay extra to park my car or either park across the entire complex or on the street. This nor the $25 valet trash fee was explained to us, and as it turns out I end up having to take my own trash out on Fri/Sat anyways. The dumpster situation also needs to be handled due to it looking like the dump on days when Valet trash isn't running. I've had good and bad experiences with Bell Management. The overall feeling that I get is that they couldn't give two craps about their residents. I transferred from a property in NC and got a whopping $900 bill for carpet replacement (Apparently they have to replace the carpet for the entire apartment, even if one room is damaged) which left sour taste in my mouth. They also didn't bother to tell me they were sending the bill to collections even though I live in another Bell property and I would assume their computer databases could access all of their properties accounts and the manager here could inform us that we had an outstanding balance. Would I rent from Bell again? Maybe, if the price is right. But they need to work on their customer service.
