An abundance of jobs, proximity to local colleges, historic downtown areas, and plenty of space for outdoor activities makes apartments in Miamisburg/Moraine a terrific option for those moving to the Dayton area.

Property Ratings at Oakwood Apartments
I was going to leave a review anyway, but they're holding a $50 raffle for those who leave a review which is tacky in my opinion. This apartment has served it's purpose for two years for my daughter and me. Honestly, I would have considered another year except they continue to raise the rent each year. Most places increase the rent to keep up with inflation but this place has raised the rates over $150 each year. And there are no amenities to justify the increase. The laundry facility has been closed for the majority of my stay here. The pool is nice. But that's it as far as amenities go. The residents are friendly. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained for the most part. Maintenance and management have always been very responsive. It's an old facility and the years of inadequate cosmetics are evident even through the thick, heavy coats of paint. It's a quiet setting mostly except for the constant hum from interstate 75. Parking is frustrating. They charge you $25 for an assigned, covered space. But then you have to climb dozens of steps to your apartment. Or you can park in the free parking area and walk a mile to your apartment. Take your pick. Overall, it serves a purpose but is far from a luxury apartment complex like the price tag would elude to. Overall, Oakwood Apartments is ok but exorbitantly overpriced.
I would recommend Oakwood apartments. 10/10 great experience. Landlord is very helpful and understanding of things and the place here is very nice and comfortable! I’ve been here for 3 years and it has been great! ??
My building is pretty quiet and I have a pretty good relationship with my neighbor we look out for one another, the actual apartment has definitely served its purpose, I have been here for 6 years, when I moved in everything was new, the sq ft, was good for the amount of rent which has increased drastically over the years. I have unfinished repairs, and the painters never came back to finish painting. Other than that it has definitely served its purpose. I would say the best thing going on now is the maintenance man is the best and He has stayed around for several months you guys should do everything to keep him
There’s been two property managers that have quit since I moved in June 2021. Currently we do not have one and the grass is taller than my small dog. People open your Amazon packages & they get delivered to the wrong address. If I could break my lease early I would. Maintenance takes forever to respond to requests because there’s only 1 maintenance man for 2 apartments complexes. Certain buildings have roaches and other pests. The only positive is that the neighborhood is quiet for the most part, but I can hear my neighbors through my walls.
I lived here for a year. When I first moved in everything was great. A few months later none of the outlets in the master bedroom worked. And I didn’t have electricity in my bedroom for almost 3 months. The people living under me got evicted and when they fumigated the apartment roaches infested everything. A friend of mine who lived in the same building had black mold in the kitchen and was in the hospital due to inhaling it. They give notices to come into your apartment and will come in with out notice as well. Do not move here it is so bad.
SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT MOVE HERE! This is the most corrupt apartment complex I have ever seen. I moved in right before the new management came in I saw first hand the horribe reconstructions they did. Half assed, rushed and honeestly not worth the money. The complex is filled with drug head trashy people. There was at least on OD once a month. The workers who they hired are the most unprofessional rudeest people they could hire. They have ONE maintness guy for the whole buliding. Lets just say it wont get fixed. The manager leads people on to get them to sign the lease and then acts like he never said that. Your car WILL get broken into by theives in the apartment complex and surrounding neighbors. Please dont waste your time or money or time. After an old tenant moved out he left all the windows open for a week amd that caused a HUGE infestation of maggots, worms, flies, you name it. It was like that for 2 weeks!!! I have to call and complain 2 times before they did anything about it. Finally they had there workers renovate it and had people living in it no more than 2 weeks later. Just one example of how horrible this place is.
I lived here two years ago and it was the worst experience i've had with a management staff. However i'm not certain if management has changed since then. The parking lot and grounds were well maintained and there was a very nice large area of grass and trees that I often saw children playing at. Very family friendly. My apartment was a two bath and two bed and was quite roomy. It was dated but overall nice. To keep it as short as I can our air during the summer quit working and it never got fixed or replaced. My poor cat was panting she was so hot and I ended up having to buy fans and a window unit. During a really bad storm at the beginning of November my window cracked. I'm not sure if the glass was just old and thin or if a branch hit it but I reported it immediately and then multiple times after. It never was fixed so my window was cracked throughout the winter and it was above their office so you would assume that it would be an eye sore or appear shabby and not taken care of to potential residents but still nothing. The dishwasher broke and someone did come to look at it. He ran it but the water wouldn't drain out so he said he would be back however he didn't return and the nasty water sat in the dishwasher. I tried getting someone out but nothing. I opened it a few weeks later and there was nasty black mold inside. I went straight down to the office and the woman at the desk handed me a pair of cleaning gloves and said to clean it with bleach. Their were other problems like the screen door always being broken etc. but those were the worst. They only kept up on the outward appearance and not the actual apartment maintenance. They were not friendly or helpful.
