ROACHES
Roach infested, they have no one that comes out & it escalates. Nice apt complex, staff can be a little more conversational they try to rush the conversation on your needs. But the roaches NO THANKS!

New Owner Is The Worse!
We don't know if she is trying too hard or what. We miss Judy as our leasing manager. I will be getting a copy of my lease and putting a complaint to the BBB. I love the leasing agent, the guy!

Worst apartments to move into.
I have been here for 4 years. I hate moving and I have finally had enough. Everything is costing you to use. What is the rent going to? $25 dollars to sit on your porch with furniture that you pay for. To use the pool you also have to pay for. If your blinds are messed up you have to pay for that as well. When you put a deposit down...This place nickels and dimes you and nothing ever gets fixed. WE have no hot water after 7PM. If we do have it, it trickles out. Save your money and go down the road to another option. They need an overhaul and it starts with the management company up to and stop making residents pay for things that they have already paid for!

Terrible
Theses apartments are terrible poorly kept up the ladies in the office are rude unprofessional disrespectful not willing to help or understand a person situation and they show favoritism and I definitely would not recommend these apartments to anybody they're not worth the amount of money that they're charging for rent or the time and effort that you that you were put into

Enjoyed the ladies to sweet and helpful.. Aot really nice ... Remodel new carpet.appliances.. Will recommend to my friends and family.. Rent here????????

Waste of time and money
If you want to waste your time talking to liars or waste your money on the products of those lies, this is the place for you! My husband and I paid our deposit early on because one of the office ladies said their townhouses go fast. We filled out all the necessary paperwork and the date of our move in kept getting pushed back. I had to file an extension at the place I was at because they couldn't get it together. So we went one weekend that the lady scheduled for us to sign our lease. SHE DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP! So I had to catch another lady up to speed. That lady was quick to tell us everyone's business and kept telling us about the cameras on the property "in case you do any illegal activities"..... We went to see the townhouse intended for us and it was disgusting. Roaches were running across the walls. And the smell from the carpets was stomach turning. The carpet was so old that it was flat and folding on itself. My allergies immediately were affected. My eyes started burning as soon as I went upstairs. So needless to say, we passed on the townhouse. And we were denied our deposit! They can keep it, it's obvious they need it more than we do.

I strongly disagree with the comment above! Ive worked this property for several years and wouldnt dare allow someone to ever move into an infested apartment or lease a problem apartment period. From the moment a person walks in you are greeted & given a overall description, floor plan, pricing in writing. I dont know whom you dealt with that day and I do apologize . I here the same comments from people that come into the office from other places. People can voice their opinions but should also take into consideration that being harsh on social media is not the way to resolve anything. Best wishes to you.

Oakwood Village Apartments like any other Property has some issues. Its affordable & close to schools, shopping centers,work. Maintenance are courteous & customer service is on point.

Not a good place for families
I would give this a five but in the last year year in a half, the place has gone down a lot. The people in the back where I am qt don't care what their kids are doing. Fights are always breaking out and the playground is not safe for the kids at all. My husband found glass and a rusted razor blade under the swing where our daughter was sitting at waiting to be pushed. By mid march, we be moved out and I can't wait. Teresa is the only one in the office who cares and that's because she lives in the back with her family.

My response to this comment would be as we all know: Management is not responsible for people and their children being left unattended, I believe every manager would agree. You as a parent should be with your child at all times. People tend to put their children out & expect everyone else to care for them. I've always made it clear to any one resident, if you see something report it to local Police Dept, then report it to office. The response we often get is (I dont want to get involved) " People" as you stated for the most part are what make a community & this community I am proud to say have long term residents and those who return to live here. As Management our most important priority is customer service and a nice clean environment. I am proud of my team.
