Property Ratings at Ocean Aisle
I simply love the atmosphere here. I appreciate management and the fact they are on point with keeping the maintenance up to date is also a plus. The people we have met are really king. You do not have to change a light bulb if you don't want to, is definitely on the money. So again I/we are really enjoying this. Thanks for listening and letting me share ??
I am currently living in this community. The grounds and apartments themselves are beautiful and well maintained. We have no complaint about that, in fact this is why I give Ocean Aisle the two stars. The problem is the neighbors and their constant use of marijuana/loud music and the lack of effective action by the staff to enforce their no smoking policy. The residents have been reminded time and again that smoking is not allowed on the grounds and basically they don't care. The situation is stressful and extremely frustrating for us. These apartments are linked together through their air ducts somehow and when our neighbors living in the apartment above us smoke marijuana, the second hand smokes enters our apartment. This happens EVERY DAY and it is extremely frustrating having to constantly breathe second hand marijuana fumes. Since we in are in the spring season, we have to deal with the marijuana fumes along with the pollen. My partner and myself both have asthma and we are fearful of the damage this second hand smoke is causing to our lungs and the increased risk of an asthma attack every day. Today I attempted to contact the staff again about the smoke. No one answered so I left a message. What kind of unprofessional business fails to answer the phone in the middle of they day during office hours? I tried contacting the main office of Salisbury Apartments and I was just left on hold for 15 minutes and hung up on. Even if I get ahold of the staff, all they do Is send out a letter to the residents about the no smoking policy which simply gets ignored. So basically just save yourself the headache and choose a different place to live.
About 3 months after I moved in (2nd floor) the neighbors above me in the 3rd floor either decided to have a stomping fest or have a toddler who is just stomping across their entire apartment. I'm going with the latter for the sake of my sanity because I can't be mad at a baby doing baby things. Point is, you can hear footsteps from the neighbors above you very clearly. I've awoken to this child about 2 times now and hear it terrorize the living space above me for a noticeable amount of the time I'm home. Amazing apartments but just hope you don't get a rhinoceros baby as your upstairs neighbor.
Leasing staff here is the absolute worst! Bunch of kids who clearly don’t care about anything and are the definition of unprofessional! There’s also a major issue with how the buildings were built because the sidewalks are higher than the buildings, meaning anytime it rains your first floor is guaranteed to flood which leads to mold. DO NOT rent here! So many better options in the area for sure.
I love my apartment. I have a 3 bedroom /2 bath. It’s super spacious. I have a huge deck. Pet friendly too. The saltwater pool is wonderful. The gym is very nice. Amazing staff. The maintenance team is there for anything you need. So far this has been a wonder experience. It’s quiet and clean and I’ve got great neighbors. Love it!!
I am purchasing a home and provided a 90 day intent to vacate notice. Do you think these greedy folks would allow me to break my lease 30 days early without penalty? NO! Heaven forbid they don't meet their quota and miss out on an I pad or some prize. Rent is ridiculously high considering the quality of construction you can hear everything your neighbors do. Breezeways are gross and some residents are common leaving trash all over the ground. I would never rent from these folks again. Clearly they are having trouble renting the units otherwise they would let me go 30 days early.
There is a serious issue with mold here, as well as many other maintenance issues. This is the worst place I have ever lived and I am counting down the days until I am out of here. I will never rent with Salisbury apartments again.
These apartments are so nice and very spacious. Vaulted ceilings and granite countertops are definitely a nice amenity to have. I will hear noise from time to time, but that’s going to be standard with apartment living, however it’s never been anything too excessive. The gym is a little small but nice. You couldn’t ask for a better location! So close to north Salisbury, downtown, or SU while in a safe, not super busy area. The office staff is great and always helpful when you have any problems or concerns!
The staff at Ocean Aisle Apartments are amazing. They are very realistic and accommodating. They are quick to fix and restore any repairs that need to be done, and they’re so friendly. I’ve never felt so welcomed to a place as I did when moving here. The pool and gym are amazing, and the complex is fairly quiet. I love living here!
