Each year they get new management and it gets worse and worse. Had of the doors to the gates do not work and they will not fix it. New management doesn’t clean nor have anyone in the office the office is way in Mesa. That have raised the rent and it’s no where near worth it... also it’s small people break into cars, it’s not safe this place has gone down hill since the changing of management.
They had a change of management in July and this place is really falling apart quickly. I've lived here for a year and decided to put in my notice to leave because it's getting out of control. Last night I saw someone breaking into an SUV with a crowbar, the outside area has trash and debris everywhere, they will be doing renovations and raising the rent here (these apartments are extremely small), new management is rude, they are taking shortcuts and hiring cheap labor, we have assigned parking but now people take your spots who don't live here. Overall I would avoid at all costs, before it was somewhat worth it because it was safe, clean, and managed, BUT now it's the complete opposite.
I moved in a few months ago and everything seemed great at the beginning until the roaches showed up. They appear everywhere, but the most disgusting place is the KITCHEN!!! No matter what I do, they keep coming out. I had called the manager and he claims he had someone treated it but I doubt it. I'm a clean person that barely even cooks at home, now I'm disgusted to even take dishes from the cabinets knowing that the insects have been there. I don't really care about the marijuana smell all day or the mold that forms on windows/bathroom (I mean, this place was built in the 70's) but the roaches are a real issue.
I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience so far and very happy with the attention to detail and dedication that Udi has to make this a great place to live for everyone. No issues with bugs and very clean apartment upon moving in. The outside area is very well maintained and all the tenants I have come into contact with seem to be very respectful and kind people. This apartment has far exceeded my expectations. I am thoroughly satisfied with my apartment and want to thank Udi again for the fantastic service and communication he has provided. He made moving in very easy and stress free. I highly recommend checking this place out!!!
I was skeptical at first of all the 5-star reviews for this complex, but I can testify to their accuracy. My roommate and I have lived at Ocotillo Estates for about 30 days with no complaints. The manager, Udi, provides extraordinary customer service and attention-to-detail. He gives residents his cell phone number and responses quickly to any issues, large or small. With that said, we have not had any problems in our apartment thus far. Our unit was fully remodeled when we moved in with new flooring, paint, and carpeting. There have been no issues with pests, roaches, bed bugs, or other insects. The price of the apartment is hard to beat, and the quality far surpasses other apartments with similar pricing. Udi maintains the property with meticulous care. The complex is older, but very well manicured. The courtyard provides a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. The trees yield ample shading, and the noise pollution is always at a minimum. The apartment interiors are also well maintained, and Udi does not hesitate in making improvements. Overall, I am extremely thankful for stumbling upon Ocotillo Estates. I highly recommend! Best Gabe

Area wise good place to live when being close to certain things. The Light Rail is in walking distance. Grocery store (Frys) even closer than rail. Christown mall, Wal mart, Ross, target and more are all one Light rail stop away or 1.5 miles. Living wise neighbors are nice and peaceful. The property is clean and neat just like the pictures. Covered parking over all cars. Nice size rooms. Ceil fans. Great space in both bedroom closets.

5 stars is not enough for this place. After living in so many rental communities around the country (FL, NY, IL, CA), I have to say I found my oasis in this Arizona desert. I’ll start off by saying the place is run by the owner who is in the property every single day. I was told work orders take less then a day for the issue to be fixed (I never had to place a work order yet, so I cant testify about it). The rental paperwork took less then 48hs, and I got the keys to a remodeled apartment: new carpet, new cabinets, and new toilet. Never had an issue with bugs (no roaches and no bed bugs). A/C is working full power and havent had an issue with running water. It’s gated with cameras all over the place (not even the Big Brother has this amount of cameras). Last but not least important, it is quieter than a graveyard, which makes me wonder if I am the only one living here or if I am the youngest. Couldn’t be happier. Check for yourself and you will see this oasis is not a mirage.

When looking for an affordable safe place for me and my 6 month old to call home this place was perfect for us. It’s very clean and well kept. Safe, Quiet, & centrally located for easy commute to the freeways,. Manage- Udi, staff, & and maintenance are all very friendly. Really good people. Happy to call this place home!
Even though I'm fairly new to the area but the landlord udi is amazing... He's very respectful and considerate and he's just a nice person I was happy that he was able to get me and my fiance into an apartment we love our new home it's clean, well maintained,it's no trash or anything else through out the complex that would make you change your mind to me and be apart of the Ocotillo family so if your looking for an apartment come on in and see for yourself GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!??

This is an older property but has been maintained well. The property manager is top notch and easily accessible in case of emergency. Clean, peaceful, gated, and a pool! Perfect place to live

Management is always responsive and the grounds are kept clean daily. Apartments are on 17th Ave which is a really cool street mostly of mid-century apartment complexes that have been updated. Owner strides for a clean, quiet, peaceful complex. Next door to Fry's and close to other shopping & light rail.
I'm very happy to be a tenant here, Ocotillo Estates is a wonderful, safe, quite place, I am a single female and feel very safe here. The apartments are gated, there are security cameras on the grounds and parking areas. Tenants are friendly, the grounds, laundry room and pool are always meticulously clean. Land Lord Udi is very nice and always available for any questions one might have. The apartments are clean and nicely remodled. I havent needed maintenance at all. Location is the best close to I-17 and the 51. Frys, Safeway, Albertsons, close by, Harkins Theater and Christown Mall nearby, lots of places near by to eat out. I highly recommend Ocotillo Estates to everyone. Also Pet friendly....Sincerely one Happy Blessed Tenant!
I have lived here for almost 3 years and have to say it has been so good living in a quiet and clean place that treats tenants like we are one big family. When any kind of issue comes up it gets taken care of in a very reasonable manner. Also it is very close to the light rail and near Fry's. This community is definitely a place anyone could call home like I do.
I have lived at ocotillo estates for about 4 months now. The owner is amazing, he cares about the community and safety. The grounds are kept nice and clean at all times. There is security 24/7 and it's gated! I have never seen A ROACH in my apartment and the units are all certified bedbug free before you move in. The laundry facilities are always clean and in convenient locations. The area is close to shopping and entertainment. The pool Is beautiful and always clean. The tenants are all nice and look out for eachother. I am happy I made the choice to live here and with how the owner is I can imagine it will keep getting better!

I have lived here for over 5 years. The place is gated and the owner just put in security cameras all around the place. The grounds and laundry rooms are always clean. If you have a problem or concern just contact the maintenance man or Udi and they will get right on it. The pool is cleaned on a regular basis so it is always clean and well kept. You are not far from a Fry's store or Christown Mall,easily accessible to the freeway. All in all a good place to live.
