Folks around the Bay Area most likely know Santa Clara as the location of Levi’s Stadium, home field for the San Francisco 49ers and host venue for college bowl games and various concerts. While the stadium has certainly redefined the city’s public image, the community retains a diverse palette of cultural offerings.
Like much of Silicon Valley, the tech sector is heavily represented in Santa Clara, and serves as one of the most prominent industries in town. The Triton and DeSaissit Museums bring unique art exhibits to the city, while attractions like California’s Great America and Central Park provide excellent opportunities for family-friendly outdoor fun. With San Jose right next door, the options for shopping, dining, and entertainment become nearly endless.

Property Ratings at Old Orchard
I appreciate the ease with moving in from viewing a classic and a renovation apt. I was disappointed when I moved into a renovated apt with out LED lights but its not a deal breaker. I was pleased with washer and dryer in my apt. I was pleased with 24 hour availability if I have any problems.
I have been a resident at the Old Orchard Apartments for almost two months, and I am very satisfied. I really like living here. Chantel and Dan were very helpful and professional. Chantel would reply to my emails even after hours. Also, I submitted a request for maintenance and she took care immediately. They community is very clean, quiet and the residents very respectful. I actually recommended this place to two of my friends. I would recommend living here if you are a young professional who enjoy living in a quiet and nice place.
I would NEVER EVER recommend this apartment to anyone. Highly inconsiderate staff. If you have a second car, forget the parking spot inside the premises. You would NEVER EVER find an empty open spot. If you are lucky, you will find it after 45 mins of wait. If your apartment is outside the gate, you cannot park in the gate. Parking within the gate is only for people whose buildings are inside. I REALLY don't understand this. They should construct all the buildings within the gate. It's like providing security only for some people. The house itself is pretty meh! If there are extended hours of maintenance work, they don't even ask on what slots work for you. They just give you a generic time and ask you to vacate the house for that time.
Great location, good price compared to other apts in area, confusing parking plan. Overall great value for money paid in San Jose area.

Thank you for the kind words! Our team is always happy to help with questions about parking, or any concerns. - SRG Residential Customer Care
The ongoing construction in the community is an issue for sure, but I hope the management can prioritize and complete it. Also, I want to recognize the improved responsiveness of leasing office staff and management. It has progressed from what I read on online reviews. Please keep up the good work.
Awesome apartment with great balcony to grow plants. The view from the window makes you feel like you are living in a hill station.
1. You can never find a parking position; 2. You car is towed away even you park inside of the apartment area; 3. The lease price increased every year and you can only accept another one-year contract or move out. 4. Most of the problems are due to the lease management team. 5. It can take 3 months for them to fix your microwave oven, and they came in your apartment without a notice. 6. A lot more and more.....
Property Manager at Old Orchard, Responded To This Review
Hello Dongfang - We never want our residents' final impressions to be negative, and we are sorry this was the case. Our records show you moved out in 2018, and we wish we could go back and do more. The replacement of your microwave took longer than we would have liked, and we apologize for that frustration. We will tow vehicles that do not have a valid parking permit displayed, that are parked in somebody else’s assigned parking space, or are blocking the entrances and exits. We know it's frustrating to deal with a towed car, however these policies are in place to ensure that our residents come home to a parking space. We learn from our residents' feedback, and are always looking to improve. We wish you all the best going forward. – SRG Residential Customer Care (CustomerCare@sares-regis.com)
Very peaceful place
Wonderful apartment living! Good location & updated room rentals, the rent is little at the high side.
Location is good. Management is responsive, maintenance service is good. Guest parking is an issue.
Typical mid range, lower end apartment complex in Bay Area charging high rent only because they can. A good option to save a small teenie bit of money (compared to other area overpriced fancy apartments), have a 1 bedroom apartment and live fairly close to work, airport and freeway with fairly quick access to rest of Bay Area.
The square footage is perfect for my needs. Apartments are clean and well taken care of. Beautiful deck with every apartment to relax on. Big sliding doors to let air and light in. Management hours being 9-6 every day makes them very accessible. Maintenance is amazing at fixing any issue that may arise very quickly and with great quality. Pet friendly apartments.
Although Old Orchard is located on a very busy street (cons: noise, accidents, petty theft, intruders, etc) I like the old style of the place and its simplicity.
