Tucked between the rolling hills of northern Mississippi, Oxford is a charming small town brimming with historic character and artistic appeal. Home to the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, Oxford is also teeming with youthful energy and cultural events.
The Historic Downtown Square has served as the epicenter of Oxford since the city’s incorporation in 1837. Today, the Square boasts a bevy of eclectic shops and boutiques, art galleries, independent bookstores, nightlife spots, chef-driven restaurants, and downhome eateries.
Among many notable residents past and present is the celebrated author William Faulkner, whose legacy is commemorated through the preservation of numerous relevant homes, his gravesite, and a bronze statue in front of City Hall. Oxford is also home to a thriving arts scene, with a variety of museums, galleries, and creative communities in town.

Property Ratings at Old Taylor Place
The best place, after living in Oxford at two other locations. Close to Everything, great neighbors. Little noise and friendly management. Highly recommended.
I wish I knew the complaints about Leigh Ann before staying here. Let’s just say I lived here for a year and regret it. Read all the negative reviews. They are true. Don’t waste your money here.
I would definitely recommend Old Taylor Place. The apartments are all pretty new. They have nice hardwood floors and a little balcony area for each unit. The staff has been very friendly and helpful as well! It also has a great gym that you can access 24/7 with a fair amount of different things to use.
It's not worth the money! Jennifer is rude and disrespectful! NO hot water, can only shower for a minute before it gets cold SERIOUSLY! Location is great but maintenance is slow, always says no one wrote a report so he didn't know.
Close to campus, near highway 6, next to the Oxford bus stop, quiet neighborhood, responsive staff. I lived here for a year, and it truly was a great place to live. And on top of everything, the apartment is quite large, including a large living room and walk-in closets. My only complaint is that the walls are rather thin, but they're thinner at other apartments in Oxford.
