Property Ratings at Olde Towne Apartments
Great place atmosphere and environment , very welcoming leasing manager and quiet neighborhood
Property Manager at Olde Towne Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the five-star review! We are delighted to see your glowing feedback for our manager and our wonderful apartment community.
This place is by far the worse place I have ever rented from. We recently had our apartment pretty much flooded ( by that I mean that our living room, dining room, half the hallway, and both bedrooms floors were soaked and couldn’t even walk on the carpet without your whole foot getting covered in water). When we talked to the office staff about it, they said that it wasn’t they’re fault. Even the manager on the property said it wasn’t there fault. We called the regional manager and talked to her about it and she even said that they have had problems with leaks and some what flooding in that apartment and the one across the hallway before but couldn’t fix it because they couldn’t find the leak while it wasn’t raining. We went to talk to the property manager about just switching to another apartment for the remainder of our lease but she said that we would have to sign a whole new year long lease. Even after contacting an lawyer and talking to him about it and him saying that we would only have to sign a new lease stated that we moved apartment for the remaining part of our lease. They would not help us out at all. This happened on a Wednesday and it took them 4 days to get the manager even out to look at our apartment and even then she was very rude about coming out because it was her “day off”. I understand that running a business your can’t meet everybody’s wants/needs but when your pretty much just treating somebody like they are not even a person because you don’t want to fix the problems right the first time then you don’t even need to be in business at all. Just my opinion about this so called apartment.
the stay here is ok, things have been fixed quickly. some people who live here dont abide by the rules at all. weed is all through our building and 10pm quiet curfew is out the window. the people above us in our building are awful. lesson learned to be on the top floor. but all around it's a decent place with a reasonable price, does it need an upgrade, of course.
The maneger Nicole is super nice and highly attentive and her new assistant fits the bill. Nicole makes sure the grounds are well matained and tries her best to ensure the overall happiness of her complex. The gym has everything you need plus a pool. People say there is a little trouble parking well that’s because they stay full of clients which speaks for itself. Best everything’s quite and freindly .
Olde Towne management personnel are both professional nice and are always there to lend a helping hand. The maintenance is what you would expect with the size of the complex. A nice addition is the unlimited hot water can not overstate this you will love it. Located close to a plethora of stores and restaurants, also with a 30 minute drive to either Dayton or Cincinnati you will never be far from fun. With both convenience and affordability this complex will match needs and meet wants. Stop by view it the worst that could happen is you will be pleasantly surprised. Do not forget pet friendly with lots of fresh grass.
I moved in here recently and it has been a great experience! The townhome is affordable and cozy, with beautiful accents to give it extra charm. The community is safe and quiet and they are very pet friendly, with one of the lowest pet rents and pet deposits I've found in Middletown. I have had a few minor work orders, but they have been handled quickly. I try to be understanding because they are over 50 years old, and the low rent makes up for that fact. They are on boiler system heat, which I was warned about before I moved in. So there is an awkward transition period between the AC being turned on and the heat being turned off. To make up for this I bought a small heater and a fan like the staff suggested and have had 0 issues. I have read on here about some people complaining about the second story being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I have lived in two story houses almost all my life and they are all like this. My fan and heater counter this perfectly. The pool is sometimes cool and needs skimmed, but I don't mind doing a bit of light skimming before I swim. Over all this is a great community, and I highly recommend!
I haven't even lived here that long, but I am constantly having maintenance issues, all of which are "fixed" quickly, but not actually fixed. The maintenance men are either dodgy or lazy, I'm not sure which. They have been in my apartment dozens of times under the excuse that they are fixing something inside. I came home to my blinds open, and they denied having been inside. They refuse to come to my apartment when I am home, they actually waited until I left for the grocery one time. Heating and cooling your apartment is tricky, unless you like hot and cold spots throughout your apartment. Even worse if you have 2 floors. You can get it really warm on the ground floor in the winter, then freeze as soon as you go upstairs. Expect the opposite in winter. Also, they control when you switch from heat to air conditioning, so you're up the creek with no paddle if you are hot in April, because they don't switch to AC until May. I hope you like bugs, because you will see them all over the place. Keeping your doors and windows closed and regular cleaning of your apartment has no effect. I have already had a few mysterious bug bites since I have moved in here. My kitchen is cleaned every time it's used, and I vacuum regularly, so the issue is not a dirty apartment. The fitness center has 3 cardio machines. The bike doesn't work, but the elliptical and the treadmill seem ok. The weight machines are old and clunky, and not useful. Unless you use free weights, the fitness center is pretty much useless. The pool is never skimmed, and freezing cold even on a hot day. Expect leaves, grass, dirt, and bugs at all times. Parking is an issue if you get home after 9 pm. Don't expect to park near your building. I have found the staff responsive and apologetic when I call them for issues, but the issues don't get resolved, regardless of how often I am contacting them. There are recurring issues that have still not been resolved with maintenance, and the issues have been going on for months.
The workers at this apartment have been nothing but rude and awful with me since I have lived here. Would not recommend to anyone!!
