Covina-Valley is a large area south of Arrow Highway, about 20 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles. The town is densely populated with modern amenities and several businesses scattered throughout. Renters have a large rental market with a variety of apartments and spacious single-family homes to choose from. Warehouses, manufacturing plants, and offices are situated in the northwestern corner of town while shopping centers are located along the main thoroughfares. Property Ratings at Olive Tree Apartments
Roaches!!!!!!!!! Roaches infestation is on all reviews, why is this place still operating? Where is the health department? Roaches, roaches, roaches that carry diseases!
I prefer to keep my identity private because apparently if someone complains for something, the old lady "Manager" finds any reason to kick you out a week or 2 later after the complain and its so difficult to find apartment fast. The reason of my one Star** is because all these apartments are INFESTED WITH ROACHES EVERYWHERE!! The building structure from the entire building is full of Roaches. Its impossible to live, cook, or sleep in any of this apartments. DONT BELIEVE WHEN THE MANAGER TELLS YOU THAT THEY Already did fumigation, the Roaches will never leave!!! BEWARE**** YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU RENT HERE! I've been spending a lot money to exterminate these insects but they keep coming from holes in walls or underneath the entrance door. The whole building is infested. I'm tired of living in between thousands of roaches. We don't cook anymore because its impossible!!!! Even when I sleep, roaches wake me up running in my arms, face etc. I pay more than 1000 montly and honestly the apartments shouldn't be habitable for any human being. I'll report these Apartments to health department and as many places I can because honesty these are not habitable apartments to live and the manager rarely its on her office. She closes the office many hours and only opens for 3 hours in total her entire day. This place needs to be closed by the city!! Thank god I'll leave here soon but for now I have to keep private my identity. I will contact all sources until someone do something about this big issue that "we" have. I feel sorry for many people that lives here and I understand its not easy to find apartment in California but no one deserves to live in between thousands of Roaches. I spend everyday money eating outside because its impossible to cook with the ROACHES. Thank you
Pros: -neighbors are quiet - manager is very nice and loves animals. - parking spaces are affordable - rent price is good your not going to fine better rent in california for the space. - the garden in the front makes entering through there a pleasant experience. Cons: - The Apartment is old. - Maintenance tends to slack on their duties, our apartment was unfinished when we moved in but we needed to or we would've been on the street. - Apartment is roach infested, we clean around our house, but for some reason roaches tend to fester in our bathroom for no reason with no visible source of food or access to such. - guests cannot swim in the pool or use the area, so no hanging out. - reverse parking is not allowed, not sure why but it still makes no sense. other than that i really like the manager, she is nice to us and helped us out a lot, i would recommend this place, but there are so much bugs here that you want to bring an exterminator with you.
First off, my 1 brm 1 bth has lots of space. nice size kitchen with lots of counter space and cubbards. It opens up to a nice size living room too, with hardwood floors and it doesn't really trap hot air. Good for hot summers. Bedroom and bath good size too and lots of closet space. Bad part, we've had roaches not alot but enough, some work maintenance does is lazy and cheap, some things don't even get taken care of, guests can't swim in our pool and we have to rent the barbeque. We don't plan on being here long after the lease is over. If we didn't have these problems we would plan on staying just because of the size. Plus the rent isn't bad either considering the area and how big the apartment is.
