Property Ratings at Olympic Village Apartments
If youre wondering if anything has improved since the years have gone by, just know its still out dates and roach infested. I hear there is only one building thats renovated. If youre lucky you can get a room there. Good luck
Do not move here unless you want to deal with roaches. Have been told I have one of the cleanest units yet still battle roaches and they will not enforce the surrounding neighbors to be clean to get rid of this problem. Roaches gross me out and when I did a tour they showed me an entirely different unit then the one I was moving into so when I came to move in they dropped it on me that my unit was different then the one they showed cause I definitely want through cabinets and closets to make sure there were no bugs. I had already signed all the paperwork and made deposits and first months rent otherwise I would've ran the opposite direction as soon as I found out I wasn't going into the unit they showed me. This is one of the worst places to move, the neighbors are rude and disrespectful park however they want to blocking you in your spots and management does nothing about it. I've asked them to put bait down multiple times and instead they will come spray which actually seems to attract the bugs more its frustrating and management doesn't seem to care.
Kitchen out dated. The Carpet they put in is very cheap. No place for the kids to play. They have to many rules for the pool and no one tells you the same thing twice. This place is slumish..
I have lived here for many years and liked it. Last year we got new management and the place is turning into a project. They do not spray for bugs until you ask and then don't spray surrounding apts. I never had roaches and now I do and am told I have to wait three weeks to get sprayed. They let anyone move in now and management is too close with some of the people. She knows they sell weed, gamble, and stand around all day smoking blunts. She pacifies people by smiling and saying "I'm handling it". Tenants aren't following lease rules or notices, and she does nothing. In fact one notice said no items are to be left outside, and there are huge toys outside of on apt. right across from her office. Stay clear.
I lived here for a little over a year, I needed something quick and they answered. Kitchen was a hot mess, couldn't use most drawers they were hanging off the hunger and cabinet doors didn't close all the way. Terrible so called tile work in the bathroom. These apartments have NEVER been renovated they look like something straight out of the 70's. Not to mention the carpet was filthy when I moved in, looked like someone attempted to shampoo them but it didn't serve any purpose, they're too cheap to change out carpet upon someone moving out. Let's talk about maintenance that's a joke several times calling for them to come fix things hahaha it wasn't until I got in touch with their corporate office KPM on Virginia Beach Blvd that some things finally got fixed. Neighbors are noisey and inconsiderate. Packages stolen from my doorstep, and the list goes on and on. Please do yourself a favor stay away and save yourself the headache!!!
