The city of Canton is a densely wooded suburb approximately 15 miles southwest of Downtown Boston. Home to several golf courses and spacious parks, Canton has a park-like atmosphere and an active community. Canton is lined with picturesque single-family homes and towering trees, not to mention the welcoming neighbors. Apartments in Canton are mid-range to high-end, and residents appreciate the small-town feeling while still living in the Great Boston area. Although the city is mainly residential, there are a few small businesses in town like the popular Trillium Brewing Company on Shawmut Road.

Property Ratings at One Arboretum
I would love for the pool and exercise room available as promised.
yes
It seems like a great community to live in, and that the apartamento are well maintained.
I love the administrative staff and maintenance staff are friendly. The administrative staff will also meet you where at and will do whatever they can to provide support.
Most places won't go out of their way to make you feel welcome.i love the ambiance of the place and more importantly that it's in a small community.
Wood field Commons is a quiet community close to Boston since it was sold we are receiving new upgrades which were long over due. The past two owners of this property never addressed maintenance issues but under new ownership everything is completed fast and efficiently.
Have already suggested to coworkers for both location and price
This is my second home from my home in India. Been here for four years. I think that in itself is a testament. There are issues which is fixable.
Do Not live here while Suki is the Property Manager. She has no idea what she is doing and is quite frankly unprofessional. Maria, Jim and James are so helpful, but constantly trying to clean up after Suki's mistake. She will say one thing, when it doesn't happen she will act like she wasn't the one speaking with you and play dumb. I cannot wait till my lease is up. There is a complex near by, a little more expensive, but I will be switching ASAP. The property needs work - which is fine - but the lack of common sense and professionalism is concerning. It has been like this for a while and gotten worse since she has arrived. Honestly concerned with my well-being at this property - she doesn't know what she is doing and seems like the type of person to cover herself and not care about her tenants.

Once is completely changed ill recommend so far so far maintenance responds very quickly the ladies in the office very nice especially suki .
Very disappointed! They don't fulfill their promises and they lie to people. Even though, 6 times I visited the management office, but still there is no result. And today was the last time because they lied to me and told me that they already rent the apartment. Last week they gave me an application to apply, and I realize at home that there are missing papers in the application. Anyway, I filled up and emailed them and they didn't answer to my email. Then I visited last Thursday, they gave me the full application and told me that bring next time signed application and deposit. Finally, I brought everything today (Monday) including a three-month rent amount in advance. And they told me that they don't have an available apartment, because they already gave the apartment. I do not believe these stories and I was so frustrated. Because I have been running for this apartment since last month. They are new management and they are worse than old management. Liars, Unprofessional, they don't respect client and they do whatever they want. I am so regret that I lost time with this management and I drove more than 100 mile to visit them every time. Because no one answer the telephones and emails. Very disappointed!

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are thrilled to hear that you've enjoyed almost 4 years of excellence here at Woodfield Commons. We hope to have the pleasure of serving you for years to come!
Several weeks after I moved in I saw roaches so I asked for extermination, but I feel like I had to managed the problem myself. The pool water is extremely cold and I requested a heater so that the water is more suitable to swim in because it is so cold that you can't stay in the water for no more then five to ten minutes. The fitness room was only open during office hours which was 9 am to 4 pm. For people individuals who work during the day, the schedule doesn't work. Lastly, there are neighbors who have parked in the handicap parking and they don't have handicap plates or placards. So if these matters that I have raised are address, I think Woodfield Commons is a wonderful place to live.

Thank you for your 5-star review! Woodfield Commons is proud to serve you!
Great location for me, love the rent and the apartment itself. My neighbor who moved in after me is loud and obnoxious and verbally abusive. A lot of people hang around in front of my building, and a lot of people use the parking lot for my building as a turn around because they get lost. Building facades are unappealing and the complex looks like a summer camp at first glance.

The staff in the office has been very helpful to me when signing up and renewing my lease. I feel lucky to have found this place after some sudden changes to my life. The property is very well kept and has a private feeling to it. My son and I love it and it's very safe. The staff in the office is very nice and any requests have been handled very quickly. Maintenance staff is very reliable and always around to help fix anything.
Universal Properties took over this property in Oct 2016 and it has been all downhill. Pay attention to the pictures - they are putting flooring into all of the units, not carpet. So if you live below the top floor, you are stuck with every footstep, creaky floor, shouting neighbor, and crying child. When I first moved in, my upstairs neighbor had wall-to-wall carpet and I never had a problem with noise transmission. Universal decided to renovate the unit with flooring, and now I'm being woken up by my neighbors walking across their floor on a regular basis. When I emailed the property manager to complain, her response was to offer to send a letter. I regret staying here beyond my original lease, but now, in spite of the detrimental change in living conditions that is entirely caused by management decisions, they want to charge me a 2 month early termination fee to move. These apartments are the cheapest in Canton for a reason. Management is the worst I've ever experienced.
