Tucked in the northwest corner of Cook County, suburbs such as Hoffman Estates, Palatine, South Barrington and Schaumburg vary widely in personality and composition. Schaumburg, the largest in population, is home to Ikea and Woodfield Mall, the largest mall in the Chicago area. Palatine, developed on a wooded marshland, comes in at a close second in size. Hoffman Estates, while smaller, is the most densely populated of the four suburbs and is home to AT&T's Midwest headquarters and Sears Holding Corporation. South Barrington, tiny in comparison, and arguably the most affluent in the area, is home to the famous mega church, Willow Creek Community Church.
Heavy traffic can double or triple commute times, so area locals know to check the highway reports before leaving home. Normal drive time into the city from this area is about 30 minutes via the Interstate 90 tollway. An easy 20 minute drive will take residents to O'Hare International Airport.

Property Ratings at One Arlington
We recently moved to the apartment at One Arlington. And I am really enjoying my time over here. The selling point for me is the glass windows in the bedroom which gives amazing views.
Moved here early this month. I would say my experience with the move was awesome.Great community. Friendly staff/ property management. Peaceful living.
The building is kept up very well. If we ever have a maintenance issue it’s taken care of right away. The people who work here are so friendly and nice. I we are so glad that we have been living here now for a couple of years.
I have lived at One Arlington for nearly 4 years and it has been a great experience! Highly recommend, wonderful place to live and close to everything.
Keeping the place in good shape considering the new people and cold weather and holidays. Also they have addressed every issue lately. Despite new people in the office.
Easy work with and I enjoy talking to everyone that works there. I also like that the elevators are fast which is something that was an issue on my old place.
One Arlington is a great place to live! Maggie and Jennifer are extremely helpful! I wouldn’t change anything about the complex. It is maintained well and extremely clean!
We had a great experience living here. The apartment was very quiet and clean, which made for a comfortable environment. The maintenance staff was excellent—always prompt and helpful. Jennifer, in particular, was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to assist us. We enjoyed the amenities, including the rooftop, game room, golf simulator, and additional storage space, which even included a bicycle area. We always felt safe, and our neighbors were very friendly, contributing to a welcoming community atmosphere. The location was a significant selling point for us, being conveniently situated near the expressway. However, we quickly realized there was so much more to appreciate, including the overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the property.
Moved to OA recently after living in Downtown Chicago for several years. Love how quiet it is. Community and staff are very nice. Area itself is also nice, but a bit out of the way from things. For sure need a car to get around easily.
We have lived here for almost 2 years and we absolutely love it! The apartment itself is beautiful and has up to date appliances and floors. The maintenance staff is quick to get something fixed when you submit a service request and there is always something going on here such as breakfast on Saturdays and special events for holidays. The amenities are also really nice such as the roof top and the workout room.
The building is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Amenities here are great and One Arlington is a a great place to live!!
It’s been great so far! Quiet, clean and everyone is friendly! I am extremely happy here and it’s in such a prime location, the covered parking is a huge win for the winters.
Great building! Management is great! If any maintenance problems happen they address it very quickly. The sun deck is so relaxing and special events they do is wonderful.
One Arlington is terrific. I just moved in but the entire experience has been outstanding. From the community get togethers on the rooftop, to the golf simulator, very secure parking/building entry..I’m looking forward to enjoying it all!
I’ve lived at OA for 3 years now and it’s been great. The staff organizes a lot of good events, like breakfast every last Saturday of the month. The maintenance staff is very helpful, Luis always gets what you need done! Overall a very good place to live.
I like The One Arlington building because it stands out in the neighborhood. It has open areas at the front and back of the building that are nice for going outside. The staff are nice and the facilities are well kept.
Good neighbours and neighbourhood. Nice floor plans and big windows. Would be helpful to have automated doors on the garage entrance to the elevator, it’s hard to maneuver with stroller. Also garage needs to be cleaned.
From the front desks I have a wonderful reception and the maintenance to the cleaning staffs are professionals in what they do the sky deck is my best spot and the gym I actually love the quiet nature and the peaceful atmosphere the residents are friendly and nice this is a place I will like to recommend and the apartments are beautiful with a lovely view
We love living here. The amenities are amazing and the apartment is very nice. They have a lot of events up on the sky lounge on Saturdays and do something fun to celebrate the holidays such as a cupcake truck on Valentine’s Day. Also whenever we have needed something fixed, which was only twice in the year and half we have been here which is also amazing (everything is in such great condition), they have been very very fast fixing it. I made a service request in the morning and when I got home from work, it was already done. This is a great apartment to live in!
such a beautiful building! Very comfortable and unique I like our rooftop, the view is extremely beautiful as well as gym area. The staff is very polite that also impress.
The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The building is kept spotless and overall, we feel that One Arlington is very well run. the other tenants are very nice and we would highly recommend this building to future tenants.
a friendly quet place to live. good neighbors and good management . I always feel safe and glad to live here a place to enjoy daily living. management is always attentive to my needs and maintenence takes good care of everything.

Very clean and nice residence. Residents are very friendly and helpful as well as the staff here. We are very excited to have our home here!
I absolutely Love staying at here at one Arlington. Great staff & location. The building is typically quiet. I recommend living here if you’re looking.
The building is kept up, clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The space is cheerful and spacious. Parking garage is safe and secure. Lots to offer everyone.
The entire process, from applying for an apartment to moving in, was clear and enjoyable. Jennifer was always there whenever we needed help. We loved her bright smile and positive energy.
One Arlington is a great place to live. The staff has been nothing but nice and accommodating. Any questions I had they answered. I highly recommend living here!
Amazing! Such and inviting and comforting community. It's a very safe space in a great neighborhood. Amenity areas very well maintained as well
Nice community. Quiet building. Nice apartments. Location is convenient close to the highway and there is lots of green space. It would be nice if some amenities were updated
We are going on our second year living here and we absolutely love it! The apartment is just so nice inside. They have great amenities. The parking garage is also a plus. It’s so nice to have during the winter months especially. They also have special events up at the rooftop which is super nice and a cupcake truck on Valentine’s Day! We love it here!
Very clean building with a phenomenal staff to address any needs that may arise. Great amenities including a game room, gym and rooftop space.
Always responsive and helpfull. Enjoyed the valentine cupcakes. Hope this summer to have a few movies on the roof and snacks. The neighbors are nice and helpful too.
The staff at One Arlington is outstanding and very helpful. The common areas are well maintained and very clean. Ay time that the apartment needs a repair, it is taken care of in a timely manner. I really enjoy this complex and would recommend it to others.
One Arlington is top notch living environment. The amenities are amazing. The community is very friendly especially with dogs and everyone is very helpful!
Exactly what you pay for! The residents and staff are all very nice and polite! Everything is a close drive to whatever you need. Underground parking is great too, even larger suvs can fit! Great area if you have dogs, plenty of outside grass area to walk them or even low traffic streets to take them on a run!
One Arlington has been a wonderful place to live. The underground parking is fab. Floor to ceiling windows are beautiful rain or shine. The staff here are friendly helpful and do everything they can do to fix any issue.
We have been living here for 10 months and we love it. Every time we go out or on vacation we so look forward to coming home. The entire staff here is so friendly.
I would like to commend Leda on such a wonderful job that she does cleaning and taking care of One Arlington, for such a big building she does a wonderful job and it's nice to have her here with us she's always very friendly and does a great job!!

Dear Anonymous, We're so glad that you've had such a wonderful experience with us! It's experiences like yours that really keep us motivated! Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!
I live here now and have been for 7 months and it is not worth the money AT ALL!! firepits on the roof have only worked three times since I lived here; back dog where you take your dog out is always breaking so you have to walk around; no where for your dog to run around and not allowed on the roof (even if no one else is up there); construction on the bottom floor and can be heard all day on floors 2-4; management staff was recently changed and new staff never responds to emails or addresses any concerns. You can find much better in the area with more amenities that actually work for less money. Don't move here. There is better maintained and less money in the area!!

i used to work at this location when it was a hotel (arlington park hilton in the 90s). it was closed for a couple of yrs for renovations and i decided to stop in to see what they did with the place once it opened again. they did a nice job of renovating- higher ceilings, exposed ductwork, modern finishes and a lot of amenities. a very city loft feel...here's the rub, tho- it's WAY overpriced for this location. you're paying city prices without being in the city. also, a lot of things aren't included (like water and garbage pick up), which was shocking, especially at these prices. there's tiered prices for the parking garage (the closer to the elevators, the more you pay), which eventually will probably be a necessity, as there isn't a lot of outdoor parking. i get the feeling that unless they adjust their prices, they're going to be in trouble. there's a reason you pay city prices...to be in the city, not arlington hts! i was also surprised that these were all rentals and not condos. some of the units disappointingly did not have balconies, aswell (this may have just been mostly the studios, tho, but those are the most affordable units). big mistake not having balconies for ALL the units, imo. anyway, they did a pretty nice job renovating the place and there are a lot of nice amenities but they nickel and dime you with what's not included at this pricepoint, which is already way overpriced for the location already. if this is the style you're looking for, you're better off getting it in the city.

For the last 10 years I have lived in this area and I have be a resident at many "luxury" apartments. None in which comes close to One Arlington. There are many things to love from the visual detail to the buliding's and unit's design, to the amazing amenities that allows you to extend your comfort and home outside your unit. My favorite pleasure of being a resident is that the amazing management team continues to build a culture of a community were the other residents are not only you're neighbors but also a friends. Honestly they had me at sky deck when I signed up. The place is just breath taking. If you want real luxury then you want One Arlington. Call me bias or smitten but One Arlington tends to have that kind of effect on people.
