One City Block is an awesome complex at an affordable price point! The location alone is incredible and convenient to all of Denver. I toured roughly 14 apartments and settled on OCB because of the amazing leasing office team, year round outdoor pool and amenities, and overall cleanliness. The leasing team stands out, especially Joe, who provided quick and effective information for my needs. He was patient and answered all of my questions even close to closing hours.

So far I am not happy since since I moved in on June 19, 2024, they have not resolved the 4 repairs that were requested upon arrival. Also today we had a bad experience with a disrespectful neighbor who was doing repairs and making loud noises at night during the neighbors' rest hours.

This place is amazing! I haven’t had an apt in the city and this location is great but the actual apartments are so nice. Katherine at the front office has been so communicative and helpful and available. These places are so clean, quiet, and close to everything. Community is able to post for other tenants to see and Adrian sends prompt emails for any and all updates. I am thoroughly impressed.

I had originally toured another property in the area that made the entire leasing process seem exhausting and the agent was cold and seem bothered. When I was leaving I saw OCB on my way home. I stopped in without an appointment and was greeted by a very professional and friendly leasing agent. From there the process moved quickly and very smoothly, and I'm very happy with my decision.

The location of one city block is one of the best in the city. If you work downtown transportation is super smooth. The amenities are great and the surrounding area is full of cool restaurants and stores.

Hello, we understand that this has been an incredibly frustrating experience for all involved. We have provided updates every time we receive one from either the pool company or the manufacturer of the heater, but unfortunately, a lot of this process has been a waiting game. We also made the decision to move up the pool deck resurfacing project and complete that work at the same time so that we would not need to close the pool again at a later date. Please keep an eye out for our updates on the resident portal that are also sent in the Daily Digest emails on a nightly basis.
Utility bill was as high as $375 per month for a studio apartment not including internet.

Hi Julie, we have seen your reviews come through and understand that this has been a frustrating process for you and your daughter. All meters at One City Block are sub-metered and based on the actual usage of each individual apartment. We have completed our due diligence with this issue- the meters have been checked by two independent companies and both have confirmed that the meters are functioning properly. Additionally, the residents residing in your daughter's apartment both before and after did not have comparable costs. This is not a common occurrence. We are confident that we have done our best to research this issue and provide a fair outcome.

I have lived at OCB for almost 4 years now. Overall a great community to be a part of. Staff is attentive and personable. OCB is full of young professionals, and has a very fun vibe. The neighborhood is a cozy little pocket downtown and everything you need is walkable. Have a hard time thinking of leaving here.

The staff at one city block are incredibly respectful and professional. Whenever I have a question about something, I get an email response almost always within the same business day. The building is quiet but people definitely utilize the amenities which makes it a warm community. I moved in during the Covid-19 pandemic, was only able to do a virtual tour and am still incredibly happy with how the move in process went. Other perks include having a free designated parking spot as well as ample street parking for guests. I love living here!

Picture a great building with all the amenities you could want, but none of them work and the patios are boarded up. One day you know it will be great again, but you are not sure when.

As a new resident, this is my first time living and doing the whole apartment search process on my own. It was simple and easy to make the decision to live here.
I've only been living at One City Blocks for a month now (UPDATED BELOW) but everything has been great. Michelle, Andy, and Patrick made the leasing and move-in process a dream. Moving is so stressful as it is but my movers sucked. They were super late and I missed my loading dock and elevator reservation. I called Michelle in a panic and she said "no worries, just let us know when you're here and we'll figure it out!" She somehow magically shifted people around and made sure the dock and elevator were available when I got there. She absolutely could've said "sorry, it's all booked!" and let me figure it out on on my own, but she saved me from a complete meltdown. Other than that, anytime I have a package or a question, I know I can pop by the office and I'll be greeted with a smile and amazing customer service. The buildings themselves are great, the hot tub is nice, no complaints at all. I love my apartment more and more every day! UPDATE: I've been living at OCB now for almost 6 months and still absolutely love it. It's surprisingly quiet for such a large complex, or at least in my corner it is! The staff is still wonderful and there are tons of monthly events with plenty of opportunity to meet your neighbors. Literally the only thing I wished for was a way to get packages after hours because I could never seem to get home before the office closed. Well lo and behold, we just got an amazon package hub last week so that solves that!

Any reviews before greystar are misleading! every sine they took over in January of 2017 the building has been horrible!!! the hot tub has been broken for 4 months with no signs of repair, there is no response from management when you call, the garage door was broken for 3 months before FINALLY being fixed and the elevators have been broken for multiple days at a time. The old leasing company was AMAZING and all of the reviews before 2017 are accurate, but unfortunately it is not the same building anymore and I strongly discourage anyone from signing a lease here.

One City Block is the apartment that has it all in Denver. From the extremely friendly, personal staff, to the close proximity to downtown Denver, this apartment has everything. Amazing amenities, quick response to maintenance needs, the friendliest staff you will find anywhere, and they have a guest suite for your out of towns friends or family. It is located in the Uptown of Denver, which is mostly young professionals. Uptown and One City Block is also the home of the D Bar, an upscale eatery with the most delicious dessert you will find. My fiancé and I love it so much here that we just resigned our lease!
My husband and I recently sold our house and because of the competitiveness of the Denver housing market right now decided to move into an apartment for a few months in hopes of things calming down in the upcoming months. Since moving to One City Block we have completely put our house search on hold because we love it so much! The location is great! We walk everywhere and have even gotten rid of one of our cars. The office team is extremely helpful, kind and fun! The community is everything we could possibly need including the bike storage and pet friendliness. After living at One City Block we are definitely in no hurry to take on the burden of home ownership anytime soon!
