This is a wonderful place to call home! From onsite amenities to a helpful staff, this is the best Community in the Gulf Shores area!!!!!
One Club is such an amazing place to live. It has five star amenities right outside my door that make it feel like I live at a resort. I also love being so close to BAR 45.
Management is rude and refuse to achnowledge concerns especially if the complaints involve a condo owner. They pick and choose who they want to be friendly with and if you have kids, they are not kid friendly! Also, expect to have your windshield cracked and car dented by golf balls. Management won't claim responsibility. Apartments have electrical issues and cheap flat pain on the walls that you can't wipe clean. Cheapest and most generic fixes they could manage.
his place is a terrible place to live. Management lies to you to cover their own self. Parking is an absolute nightmare. You have to walk quite a ways to get to your apartment at night without proper lighting in the parking lot. Management cares nothing about your personal safety. I am 8 months pregnant and parked in a handicapped spot to avoid walking a mile in the dark and not even 3 hours later, my car has been towed. 10:00 pm at night when I got home and was towed at midnight. Management did not even know my car had been towed. She made it clear that they do not tow vehicles unless they have put a notice on your vehicle, which was not the case here, and they have not had a vehicle towed in over a week. I called the towing company and the “grounds manager Joe” is the one that got my vehicle towed. Call the property manager back and her story has now changed to you don’t have to have a notice on your vehicle that it can get towed anytime. Then tried telling us that the police department can drive through at anytime and see a vehicle in handicap and have it towed. Once again a lie. I called Gulf Shores Police Department and they said no police officer can call and get a vehicle towed on private property unless authorized by property manager. Not even “grounds manager” can authorize it. Again, lies lies lies. They are awful to their own residents. Never once been complained on and they get their rent every month and has never been a problem and to get treated this way. Now a soon to be single mom forking out $250 because she is 8 months pregnant and didn’t want to walk a long ways in the dark to her apartment at 10:00 at night meanwhile having to be back at work at 8:00 am. SMH.
They refuse to give you a number to corporate to resolve an issue or work out a problem when the main person in charge is giving you problems. Only way they will help is if your buddy buddy with them. I've seen several residents get treated poorly but if your buddy buddy with the main management lady you have nothing to worry about but she makes sure you get helped out and has your back covered. And the moment stuff doesn't go her way or if one of the residents has a problem with her friend she will back her friends up and retaliate against the other resident. This place is pretty much a place where you have to be on a certain crowd or a part of a certain crowd the be respected. This place has alot of potential but it's sad to see who they put in charge in the offices because they really have no care about the residents.
This isn't a terrible place to live but honestly I wouldn't live here again. I saw the office cycle through about 4 different groups of management while I lived here for one year. What did not change is that the stuff does not care if you have problems, ESPECIALLY with mail at the hub. I've caught them in lies multiple times saying they can't help with the hub. They finally helped when I called amazon and busted them for it. I've had other managers tell me they couldn't help because they 'had to go to lunch and they didn't want to deal with it again'. I was here during hurricane sally and they hired a company to do moisture mitigation and repair. They let the company come in, break multiple pieces of my furniture, remove drywall, leave food in my walls with no insulation just the studs, let them eat my food, I had partial roof and no ceilings or covered walls in 75% of my apartment, living in a plastic house at that point and they told me I had to stay and pay rent or they would evict. I was told it was deemed livable because I had a working bathroom and kitchen. Past all of that, the parking lots are dark and not safe, cops are there multiple times during the week, grounds aren't kept up with. Oh they keep the club house and gold course looking great though. If you come home late, don't even think about parking close to your building. I guarantee they will raise rent significantly and it is not worth it. The pest control? You physically have to send an email every week when you want the pest control. They do not have a schedule. Dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing. 'Included wifi' means they will bring the stuff to you, charge you to install and make you buy the router. If it goes bad (which mine did) they made me replace it. They planted sego palms in front of ALL apartments and they are EXTREMELY poisonous to dogs. The gates barely stay closed. Anybody come drive into the complex if they wanted. They also will have work being completed on the exterior of your apartment and will not notify you at all. I walked out of & up to my apartment multiple times with random workers on my balcony/porch and I would have no clue they were even going to be there. This place is under corporate management and they only care for money. They do not care for the residents. If you can live somewhere else - take the other place.
I have lived here almost 2 years and it has declined immensely since moving in. The grounds on on the golf course and club house are kept up well. However, the grounds near the apartments are continuing to deteriorate. Very few issues are taken care of. Walkways are falling apart and trip hazards. Sprinklers don't work so grass all died off. It's nothing but mud in the areas around the apartments. The lighting in the parking lots is very poor and parking is even worse. Parking is not assigned and you often have to park several buildings away. Litter is not cleaned up. The office staff is completely unresponsive. Don't let the façade fool you. The clubhouse and golf course are nice, but living here is definitely not worth the cost. They are spending $$ on stupid things like rope lights around the trees, but not on the important things for the tenants. Make sure you walk around the entire complex before renting here. And also know that your rent WILL increase, at least 10%+ every year.
Magnolia Bay is way cheaper and way better if you compare and their fees. This should be the last place on your list in case if you can’t find anything else
The amenities are awesome. The neighbor's are nice. Well maintained. Quick response to any request. Lived here 5 months.
I moved in about a month ago. I moved from 8 hours away and my paperwork was ready for signing when I got here. My apartment was clean and ready and the process was smooth. The staff is very friendly. The grounds are beautiful! The amenities are gorgeous and they are making upgrades all the time. There are always exciting things to do the staff plans for residents and they really put forth the effort to be sure the residents are happy. The apartments are quiet. No paper thin walls here. You don’t hear your neighbors on the side or upstairs or downstairs. My son and I really love living here and we are just minutes from the gorgeous beach. -J. Farris

Rudest staff and management. Maintenance never came even with the door handle in my hand. Washer and dryer never fixed. They will lure you in and then you are on your own. Read your lease well they can boot you out at will in 60 days as they sell them. That is if they sell them. You can put lipstick on a sow but it’s still a sow. Just beware.

I have never felt more at home. The updates are coming along nicely and I will be renewing my lease is August. One of the main reasons I love this place is because of Charity. She always makes sure that I am taken care of and always calls me back right away. Being a single mom I feel safe here and my daughter loves the pool ( as do I). Can't wait for many more years of living here I absolutely LOVE it!

I've been here for almost a year. I have never lived somewhere I loved so much. I was going to buy a house but I am reconsidering because of all of the wonderful amenities and the staff is amazing. It has always felt like home. I feel safe and taken care of. Very happy living here.

My wife and I came and toured the model unit in July and fell in love with this place, we moved in less than a month later. This property is in the perfect location if you ask me. Less than 5 miles to the beach at the Hangout. Less than a mile from Pelican shopping center that includes a Target, Cobb movie theater, Longhorn steakhouse, and the famous "The Yard." The 9-hole executive golf course is kept in excellent playing condition all year round. The property has a beautiful pool, exercise facility, tennis courts, and restaurant. There is always something to do here at One Club and I would recommend it to anyone! If you're interested, contact Leslie in the front office and schedule a tour.

Just inquired about renting, and informed me that it is required that my cat be declawed. Why would I cut the top joints off of my 15 year old cat's paws so I can live there for 6 months for business?
Wonderful place to live whether you own or lease condos on a 9 hole golf course. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchen. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living room. Washer and dryer included. Close to the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful beaches and great restaurants and outlet mall less than 4 miles. Fitness center, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, as well as pool table and table tennis. Business center. Well maintained grounds.
Emerald Greens boasts a family friendly atmosphere, well maintained grounds, professional and friendly staff, secure (gated) and all of the amenities a person could ask for. Included: a nice size pool, kids water slide and play area, a man made beach (made to look like you are sitting on your own private beach), hot tub, sauna, tanning bed, clubhouse, diner, state of the art work out facility with massage chairs, oh and who could forget the nine hole golf course. The ponds and scenery provide the feeling of tranquility and relaxation. The apartments are well maintained, spacious, with large rooms, granite counter-tops, slate floors and include all appliances. Located less than 10 minutes from the beach and the Tanger Outlet, this is a quiet retreat, yet close to shopping, dining and night life. Well suited for all ages. I am proud to say I have lived at Emerald Greens appx. 4 months and plan to stay many more.

I am a former employee of Emerald Greens and now that I have a family and am moving back to Gulf Shores next year, I wouldn't settle for anything less than the spectacular Emerald Greens living for my family. The staff are hands down the friendliest people I have ever worked with and the landscape is gorgeous! The price is completely affordable and an absolute bargain with all of the wonderful features. There is not another place I'd rather my three small children grow up in as their home. The golf course is beautiful and peaceful, the condos are stunning, and the kids will never be bored between the swimming pool, game room, cable, internet access, fitness center, and not to mention the beautiful beach down the road and all of the excitement that Gulf Shores has to offer. I also love that the location is within Gulf Shores public school district, which looks like the best school curriculum I have seen for public schools. There just really is not a downside to living at Emerald Greens or making Emerald Greens one's vacation home away from home.
