One Jefferson

PLEASE check out the Google reviews as well (includes pictures and will give you more of an idea of what you are getting yourself into if you choose to move here). My sister and I moved in 2 days ago and it has been a terrible experience. We walked into a unit that had code violations and simply was not finished or clean. What we discovered on move in: -One toilet is not fully sealed to the ground (code violation). You can see it visibly detach from the ground when you sit on it. -The other bedroom toilet has exposed sheetrock around it (code violation) -Shower head not fully attached to the wall -Paint spray on every windowsill. If they would taken just a few minutes to clean it would have been much appreciated -Our valet trash was left with trash from either the workers or the previous tenant and smelled like cat pee -Missing tile on our backsplash and exposed nails -Holes in the closet walls -Green sticky stuff left on walls and brown sticky stuff left on bathroom counters -Dog hair on windowsills -Overall wear and tear (we would be okay with this if the above did not exist). Shortly after walking around the unit and discovering this, I went to the leasing office and was told that the unit was signed off on by their employees and that anything that needed to be fixed would have to be a service request. I am truly flabbergasted if anyone signed off on that place. When we brought the issues forward to the leasing office, the attitude presented was dismissive and they seemed actually annoyed that we were bringing these items up. Being met with a little bit of empathy in this situation would have gone a long way. We in no way blame the leasing office, but would have really appreciated an "I'm really sorry that happened, let me check with our team and see what we can do to get this resolved". When we confronted them about the code violations we were also told to submit a service request which I have completed this morning. I am hoping they will be resolved quickly, but based on the other reviews.... I guess we will have to see. If possible, I will update this if we start to have a better experience.

Erroneous reviews are slanting the true assessment of this place. Do your homework. Years of filth and lack of response to any of it. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT FALL FOR THE LIES

Love the maintenance team. Quicker than usual response. Anthony really takes the time to take care of what you need and does a great job with repairing!

Trash areas look like a homeless camp. Refusal to do upkeep on common areas

New mgmt is rude. Vacancies galore, and will stay that way with their way to high rental rates. Offering one month free? HA! LOWER THE RATES. Walkways and patios / decks in dire need of pressure washing. Moss galore on the roofs. I'm dealing with ants....AGAIN! $200+ per month for w/s/g? INSANE!!

Poor Management (New), Trash, Vermin, Smoking issues are abundant. Dog poop is also a big issue in the community. Fees and services you can’t opt out of. Parking is also terrible.

I have enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and I am able to work from home several days a week from my apartment.

Seriously the worst place you can live, the trick and manipulate your, and then add HIDDEN fees to your bill each month, you’ll wonder why you keep going up 100-200$ each month.

I literally love living here and would rather not live anywhere else very happy here!

The designs of the apartments are better than almost anywhere else in PDX and the staff in the office are kind, attentive, and focused upon making life pleasant here. I love our location, where we are encircled by green hills and clean air. Somehow, the proximity to nature also attracts interesting people who live here.

I feel safe as a senior resident and no noisy nights

The location is perfect, the staff is helpful, the maintenance team is on their game, the parking situation isn’t bad and I like it overall here! Thanks One Jeff!

Okay place to live. Unreasonably high rent increases !!!!!

Clean well kept property with lovely upgrade finishes and valet trash

Its a a BEAUTIFUL area to live in with nature walking paths near your door. Close to to shopping center that includes New Seasons and Starbucks and DMV and other neat shops and cafes and Urgent care. Maintenance people are very friendly

We lived there for a year and its disgusting, rats everywhere...yet when we moved out we get charged $45 per item they have to clean which we cleaned before we moved out. Also if you have a pet you better set aside 500 to replace the two rooms with carpet about 300-400 square feet of carpet. Besides the move out cost they are poorly insulated, none of the amenities are available, and the mail situation is an absolute nightmare...if you decide to rent from here good luck!

I love living at One Jefferson, my apartment is awesome. I love all the updated features and absolutely love the loft space in my apartment. I work from home, so the loft space makes a fun office space. Management and maintenance staff are very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this complex if you have to work from home the space and amenities are amazing. One recommendation I do have is perhaps a playground for the kids, but other than that its awesome.

I love my new apartment home! The up to date appliances and finishes are amazing, very classy but affordable especially living in Lake Oswego. Management is very polite and responsive.

This is home to me. I cherish my apartment and my neighbors, some of whom, over the years, have been utter inspirations and a total joy. I am grateful that the staff listens with respect and tries to help us. We residents couldn't make it without them!

We were in an unsafe apartment at another complex. Staff at Jefferson particularly the new manager heard our needs and got us the perfect apartment for our long term goals! Moving in was very quick and overall fairly easy. There were a few issues that we had with cosmetic things in the apartment and maintenance staff started taking care of it right away. Love the area and our neighbors have been very friendly. We are telling our previous neighbors to move here.

I love living here it is so peaceful there is no crime you can go for a walk at night and not worry about anything. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Management at the one Jeff is conducted in a professional manor by individuals who are approachable, kind spirited, friendly, and most importantly, aware of the community they help to care for, and represent.

Quiet, congenial neighbors who are friendly and caring. A good mix of ages, children through senior adults. Beautiful living spaces well-maintained and cared for. Incredibly comfortable neighborhood at the top of Mountain Park.

Windows double pane better. This old building has poor insulation my apartment always so cold in the Winter and in summer my apartment so hot inside.

One Jefferson Parkway offers a quiet home setting, conveniently located to essential businesses. The property, office and maintenance management provide excellent service and options to needs. I feel at home in my apartment and love the hardwood floors and apartment amenities, along with my private patio. Moving from out of state to One Jefferson Parkway was a great choice and Imam happy to call HOME!

If you enjoy unreasonably large speed bumps... you will love this place. Besides that, I lived in a One Bed and it was a nice enough experience. Good layout and overall average experience with management and maintenance. They do allow smoking which was a bummer for me inhaling the smoke of my neighbor. Very liveable place.

Excellent Lake Oswego Location - easy access to freeways and Portland. Excellent outdoor maintenance; workers and staff are friendly and helpful. Large living spaces compared to other apartments in the area. Mixed age residents - lots of recent college graduates as well as families and older adults. Very well balanced. Extremely quiet.

This is not a good place to live, unless you like ridiculous neighbors and filthy living conditions. I can't get past the rat infestation. We can't even step out of our door at night without worrying about a rat running across our feet...it's deplorable.

While the entry to our complex, clubhouse have been improved. The infrastructure of this very large complex needs to take president. A lot of windows need to be replaced and cleaned on the outside. You may be the 4th owner since I have lived here and I have talked to office staff in the 18 years about "Quality control" of contracting jobs. Example; the gutters were cleaned a short time ago, perhaps up by the office they are completely finished but in the back 40, they did not get done. Which in the long run creates damage to the buildings. I can look out my bathroom window and see missing clay tiles, creating roof damage. Stop focusing on "aesthetics" and take care of the real issues. Whom ever actually reads this, Thanks for hearing me out.

Office team is friendly and helpful, maintenance is good and with excellent communication; units are older, but larger floor plans as a result; nicely renovated. Highly recommend.

I would tell anyone looking for an apartment in Lake Oswego to look at One Jefferson. The office people are great! The community is quiet and safe and my neighbors are friendly. I just moved here in February, so I have not been able to take part in the usual acitivities that are normally available, but look forward to the time when I will be able to.

Beautiful Units. Fast Maintenance which can be hard to come by. Good locations and the most friendly neighbors ive experienced so far. I love the community here in lake oswego.

A truly lovely place to live

One Jefferson Apartments have been fantastic. Anthony in the leasing office always responds to my emails in a timely fashion. Maintenance staff arrived at my unit within 10 minutes of my initial request and solved my maintenance issue immediately. Friendly staff, excellent location and terrific community. Somewhat of an older building with relatively poor insulation, but its nothing that would bother most tenants. Overall satisfaction rating would be 8.5/10. I would highly recommend living here.

We love living here! It's quiet, clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make it feel like a community, not just a collection of apartments.

I absolutely love my apartment. Any issues I've had have been dealt with in a very timely manner. Maintenance is extremely helpful and polite. Only complaint i have is there doesn't seem to be much noise reduction between floors. Sounds like elephants live above me. Other than that, zero complaints. Love living here.

With the right until and the right neighbors you could be happy here. The property is large so sometimes things get overlooked but management is always helpful and quick to address issues to the best of her ability. There are many families with young children including us and our daughter has friends here which is great. We've lived here since July of 2017, almost 3 years now. Overall we've been pretty happy with the experience. It feels like home.

One Jefferson Apartments is wonderful place to living.

One Jefferson Parkway Apartments was the best choice of the 4 communities I visited in this area. It fit all my needs and then some. I tell everyone that I can that they need to check One Jefferson out if they are planning on moving out of the Portland proper area. Love it here!

The apartments are fantastic, everyone is friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great location with apartments with lots of windows and great layouts. Nice outdoor area with each unit.

We've had a ton of issues since moving in mostly in regards to plumbing and Electrical issues. The parking is awful, our vehicle was towed and the utilities are ridiculous. All the windows and doors leak... It's a mess. They don't notify you of things on time, emails are not always responded to. Noise complaints are not addressed and it's too expensive for what you get.

My apartment is lovely and the floorplan is great.
