Property Ratings at One Ten Grant
Here is a non-exhaustive list of what’s happened in the 1.5 years I’ve been here. 1. My dishwasher has been broken for 3 months. I’ve been lied to on the progress of getting it fixed from them saying multiple times it would be handled by the end of the week and having no person come into my unit. Lying about saying new dishwashers have been ordered to then go back a week later and talk to someone else and find out they haven’t ordered any. The property manager himself has twice just made something up to appease me in the moment. 2. The package room was broken into and several resident packages were stolen. The building has done nothing to accept responsibility or compensate folks. 3. Related to#2, the building claims that they have a 24/7 concierge. I’m not sure there has been an entire week with someone on duty 24/7 since I moved in. Doesn’t seem like a big deal right? Unfortunately they control most things in the building. I’ve encountered people who do not live here in the lobby, elevators, and ramp asking for money or harassing residents. 3. The elevators consistently break down. I’ve waited upwards of 20 minutes just to get an elevator. I was stuck in an elevator for 1.5 hours and missed a work meeting because they didn’t close an elevator that was reported to be broken. 4. The garage door is consistently non-functional and was broken for weeks at a time allowing anyone into our garage. In general the property is not secure. 5. The parking lot consistently has outside cars in it. When my parents were here they were harassed several times in the lot and I’ve noticed suspicious activity but the building does nothing about it and never tows. 6. The pet wash, ice machine, and a majority of the washing/drying machines have been broken for weeks on end. 8. When facilities came to look at my dishwasher one of the men spent time in my bedroom. It’s really odd and uncomfortable to me that he was going into parts of my unit that are not at all necessary when it comes to fixing a washer. In general the building is not secure, and the management does little to help residents. I moved in after visiting a friend who lived here for 5 years and it seemed great. But in the nearly two years I’ve been here I’ve seen the building fall into disrepair and the staff get more and more short and unhelpful. It’s sad because I want to feel safe and respected in my home and love where I live.
One Ten Grant would probably have to be the best all-around apartment complex in the Loring Park neighborhood. I lived here for a year and enjoyed the experience. The units are well taken care of and are also being remodeled. The views are fantastic, and the location can’t be beat right on The Greenway. The 24hr concierge, large guest parking lot and free cable are some other amenities I enjoyed. You won’t find a better value in the area. The people who work and live there are great, too. Make sure it’s on your list if you’re looking to live in the area.
Really cool spot. Close to everything on Nicolet Ave. Would be awesome if renovated a little bit but still an awesome spot.
This apartment is best for living if you love greenery nearby as the Loring park is next to it. Very well maintained and clean apartment. Amenities include decent swimming pool , small jacuzzi , gym , a good party room , theater room and a nice terrace space used by us for grilling. The only issue is number of elevators, when some one is moving in it becomes difficult to get an elevator. Other wise I would recommend One Ten Grant a nice to live aparment.
Super pet friendly, indoor dog park, on the Loring Greenway. Amazing views of downtown Minneapolis
Great location on the Greenway with super easy access to the Skyway starting in the Hyatt next door. Perfect for anyone who works downtown and/or wants to be close to the nightlife. The interior is a bit dated but everything (appliances, A/C, water temp, etc) has worked perfectly for me. North side of the building has a great view of downtown. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they offer some really convenient services. Never have had trouble with the parking situation and there is a guest parking lot which is pretty unusual for downtown. If it were more up to date I would give it 5/5 stars.
Perfect location in downtown Minneapolis, close to great restaurants and shopping. Also, right on the Loring Park Greenway, tons of beautiful flowers, trees and fountains, so you don't feel like you're right in the city. And the apartments are pet-friendly, it's a great place to have a dog downtown, right next to the park, lots of great places to walk! Awesome, responsive staff.. Great apartment, new appliances, quiet building, stunning view off my balcony.. I really love living here.
