It's the birthplace of the United States. It's a World Heritage City, the first in the country. It's Philadelphia's Old City, and it isn't just for tourists. This terrific neighborhood still features cobblestone streets, and the landmarks are amazing: Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Penn's Landing, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, and the Betsy Ross House. Elfreth's Alley is the oldest residential street in the nation, dating back to 1702. The museums are also impressive: the Museum of the American Revolution, the National Museum of American Jewish History, the Benjamin Franklin Museum, and the Independence Seaport Museum.
But while you'll have endless destinations to take out-of-town visitors, living in Old City provides a wealth of charm, walkable streets, terrific shops and restaurants, and an outstanding farmer's market. The neighborhood is bicycle-friendly, and bicycle rentals are available at Indego stations.

Property Ratings at One Water Street
My time as a tenant at One Water Street Apartments has been exceptional. The apartments are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, making everyday living a pleasure. The amenities at One Water Street are fantastic. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views and has become my go-to spot to relax and entertain friends and family. The fitness center is well-maintained and has everything I need to squeeze in a quick, solid workout into my day. The management team is another major highlight of One Water Street. They are professional, responsive, and genuinely care about the well-being of the residents. Any maintenance requests are promptly addressed, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's clear that they take great pride in maintaining a high standard of living for everyone here. The location is ideal, with easy access to public transportation, shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Being able to conveniently enjoy the vibrant neighborhood atmosphere has been a blessing. Living at One Water Street is a place where I feel safe, comfortable, and proud to call home. I wholeheartedly recommend One Water Street Apartments to anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient living experience in the City of Brotherly Love.
As a current tenant, I am thrilled to write this review for the property management team at One Water Street Apartments. From the moment I moved in, I have been consistently impressed with their level of service and commitment to ensuring a positive living experience for all tenants. Mike, Rob, and the rest of the staff are always available and responsive to any concerns or maintenance requests I may have. They are prompt and efficient in addressing any issues that arise, and they always follow up to ensure that everything has been resolved to my satisfaction. The team is also incredibly professional and organized. They are always transparent about policies and procedures, and they go out of their way to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Overall, I cannot recommend PMC Property Group highly enough. They truly care about their tenants and go above and beyond to ensure that we are happy and comfortable in our homes. Thank you to the entire team for all that you do!
Here’s my take on questions people may have when considering One Water: Noise level: The building is well constructed so I never hear my neighbors and traffic noise is minimized because of the thick windows. My apt faces the highway/city so I do not hear the bands at Morgan’s pier as some residents facing the river experience. I hear it’s only in the summer months when their windows are opened, or if they live on the lower floors. The fire alarm does go off at inconvenient times, in the two years I’ve been here I remember 3 times it went off in the middle of the night. It is very loud and very annoying! But when compared to the 600 nights that it did not go off it’s a slight inconvenience of large apt living. Amenities: The gym is great, the rooftop deck has awesome views, the bldg and the appliances are modern, and OW is very close to Penns Landing/riverfront. One of the best amenities is not really OW’s but it’s the parking lot across the street. It’s cheaper than parking in the bldg and only steps away from the front door. I have not had a problem with my car in the 2 years I’ve parked there. Safety: I am a woman and have never felt unsafe at OW or walking in the neighborhoods around OW. Maintenance: I think maintenance is one of the best parts about living here. I had a problem with my toilet one morning, I made an online request, went to work, and the toilet was fixed when I got home that evening. Pests: I have never seen a mouse, rat, or insect of any kind in the apartment building. The building is kept very clean. Pets: There are tons of dogs in the bldg, which I don’t mind because I love dogs. If you do not like dogs, this is not the bldg for you. Cost: It is expensive to live here but I find it is on par with other luxury apartments in the area. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because no apartment bldg is perfect and One Water is no different however the pros definitely outweigh the cons imo.
Diane is a professional, hard-working, prompt manager. She attended to my complex situation with compassion and made every attempt to work things through in a civil manner. She's truly professional. The other staff members are working hard too. I loved living at One Water. It was truly a dream come true. Nina McKissock
This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. There is no facility management whatsoever. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do and say as well as hear everything that happens at Morgan's Pier especially when they have a band. Do not live here!
