The casinos may be what draw visitors to Reno, but the “Biggest Little City in the World” has become an exciting, alluring locale for renters who can look past the slot machines. For one thing, the famous nickname is a bit of a misnomer these days: with a quarter-million people inside the city limits alone, the community has become one of the busier metro areas in the region. There are incredible apartments on offer, from upscale lofts to communities that offer endless amenities.
Downtown Reno is certainly best known for its gambling, but there’s a multitude of attractions to experience in this neon-lit city. Delight in the shopping at the Summit in southern Reno, or experience some of the museums, performing arts venues, world-class restaurants, and diverse nightlife hotspots that offer something for every taste.
The natural landscape surrounding Reno is perhaps the most appealing aspect for many.

Property Ratings at oneR midTown
My first negative review: I've lived here 3 years and they don't even know how to spell my name or email me. Debbie and Oscar. Recurring window issues since October last year, just for fresh air in my apartment. There is only 3-4 inches from one window unless you have a balcony. Fresh air is important and required. I've was told not to open my window and to wait. I've attempted leaning out of a third story window to close my window and I've been hit by falling curtains and so has my dog. We're talking 10lbs falling 15ft and hitting you in the face. They are also now falling apart from standard use, pulleys and more. The winds are so strong they break windows and the installed curtains flap and make noise all night even with the window shut. Since it is a constructional issue, it would require taking out window framework (entire wall from a third story) and more. These windows are nice but massive and hard to maintain, and it won't be a guaranteed fix anytime soon. I asked to be moved to another unit with moving costs covered or a simple call back. I work remotely with a law firm. A secure workspace without construction, unannounced repairs is required. I simply want fresh air, returned calls, and proper notice for repairs coming from other vendors that could take hours or even weeks to complete. This is not a simple repair. This is a frustrating living condition for remote work. I work for a law firm and can't be randomly interrupted for repairs that require hours or weeks to fix. I've had to sleep in freezing in weather with busted windows in rain and snow and make sure my dog stayed warm with a coat inside. It's not just my unit. My neighbors are moving out and expressing frustration. My windows have even been hit by someone setting off fireworks, numerous robberies around the complex. Not safe and frustrated with the lack of interest or concern from management. There have been shootings across the street (I've grabbed my dog and ducked from gunshots), they were even washing blood off the street. The abusive neighbors (police called numerous times) target women. I and multiple other men have walked out of our apartments from 10pm-3am to help other females.
Property Manager at oneR midTown, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the apartment, community, or neighborhood. Management has been responsive to all of the work orders and complaints filed and has communicated the issue with the window repair clearly as evidenced by statements in the review of what the required fix will be. These are specialized windows and are not meant to be left open during high winds which, as we understand from the vendor, caused the damage initially. We are working diligently to find a resolution to the issue. Consequently, this is not problematic throughout the property and is isolated to one unit.
