Property Ratings at Ontario Place
I can say with confidence Ontario is the best apartment complex I have ever lived at (and I’ve lived at a fair amount). When we were looking to downsize recently, we toured roughly 10 other apartments around Omaha and came to the conclusion that nothing we saw beat Ontario Place. First, the apartments themselves are laid out so well—the kitchen and living rooms are spacious and open, the bedroom closets are huge and often have built-in storage, and the giant bathtubs are better than what you’d get in most homes. I also appreciate having a full-size washer and dryer, which seems to be a rarity in most apartments around town. One underrated aspect you wouldn’t know about unless you live here is that the utility bills are quite low; the buildings seem to be “overbuilt” as far as energy efficiency goes. On a related note, they also block outside noise pretty well. The first building we lived in was right next to I-80 and the noise was only noticeable when everything else was silent, and even then it was faint. Just as importantly, the people who work here are phenomenal. Seriously, Gina is the most helpful and professional manager I’ve come across. She knows everyone by name and has a way of making you feel instantly at ease whenever you need to visit the office for any reason. Whether you’re just picking up a package or you’re going through the application/leasing process, she’s always so accommodating. I can’t say enough about her. And the maintenance staff is just as impressive. Greg is prompt to respond to any maintenance issue. I have never had an occasion when a work order I've placed took longer than a day—and many times less than half a day—for Greg to fix. And he is always willing to answer any questions you have while he’s working in your apartment. It’s clear he places top priority on us residents over his other daily duties. If it isn’t obvious by now, I would highly recommend Ontario Place to anyone looking for an Omaha apartment with a staff that cares about its residents. We have families, young professionals, college students, and senior residents that have lived here for many years. After living here for over a year myself, I can see why. The floor plans are generous and functional, the central location and proximity to I-80 is convenient, and the management and maintenance staff are truly top notch. Don’t hesitate to give this place a look!

Difficult to get callbacks. I tried showing up one day after work, that didn't work either as a sign was hanging that said management was out for the day. After finally getting to see the place, I asked the highest manager I could find if they would honor the price advertised on every website including their own. A no explanation no was given after 4 business days. Hate to see what it would be like to actually live here.

The manager there her name is Gina, she's the best manager i've met, she stands up for me if I had any difficulties, if you're looking for a great stay and a friendly lovely manager you go to Gina, believe me it's worth it !! I have been staying here for three years now and it will be longer just because of her !
All management staff of Seldin Company/Organization go above and beyond any of your needs. Words cannot express the Gratitude and Respect I have always had for any of Seldins Staff Members. I vote this company to be the best Apartment community of Omaha, Nebraska.
These apartments are for you if you need a place centrally located in the heart of the metro. I absolutely love the area, quick interstate access (which you can hear the interstate noise but you don't realize it after living there for awhile!) and close to the new and upcoming Aksarben area, which has great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The staff is friendly and know us by name and they work with you whenever you have questions or concerns! Whenever we have maintenance issues, such as clogged sink, broken water dispenser, they are there to fix it the same day! The apartments are very spacious although I do wish there was more storage. In our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, there is a hallway closet, and closets in the bedroom/bathroom - that's it! So we have had to be creative in hiding our storage in the open areas. We love sitting out on our LARGE balcony and the pool/gym area is great to have access to! There is also an internet cafe with free coffee in the clubhouse! Overall, these apartments have been a blessing to live in!
A quick rundown of things we were looking for in an apartment and what we found at Ontario: Size- We live in a one-bedroom with a den (at an affordable $965/month). It feels much bigger though. At about 1000 sq. feet (and a deck) we have plenty of room to grow and host parties. There is also a pool (which largely goes ignored early in the summer!) and a clubhouse. Price- Again, at $965 a month, we were happy. Our goal was staying somewhere we had easy access to the universities. We have I-80 right next to us and 72nd a block away. Amenities- This place has so much kitchen storage for an apartment under $1000. The maintenance crew is FANTASTIC, as is our property manager, Gina. We love the pool, and the gym is satisfactory (and free!). Complaints- Obviously, with I-80 so close to us, it can be noisy. We don't notice it during the day, but we do at night sometimes, especially during certain times of the year. You can only have a pet in a couple of buildings, one of which is the building where smoking is allowed. If you want to bring in a pet, but don't want the smoke smell, you may be out of luck. Overall- We walked away from the showing thinking it would be a really solid place to live, and we were right. This is a PERFECT place for young people that want to stay close to school but don't want to live in Dundee or Downtown. Hayden, Omaha
I moved here in June of 2014. The apartments are beautiful! The grounds surrounding the buildings are maintained wonderfully. Snow is promptly removed in winter, and in the summer my son and I can swim in the resort style pool. The clubhouse and gym are gorgeously decorated and kept clean. The pool is surrounded by plants and flowers, as are the apartment buildings. When there is an issue in my apartment, I receive prompt care and they always follow up afterwards. The community is quiet, and located in District 66, which has wonderful schools. Ontario Place is located close to Aksarben and the interstate, I-80. Very convenient for the residents!
