Located just a couple of minutes west of downtown LA, Mid-Wilshire is one of the city’s most popular areas for art, food, and shopping. The wild architecture of the Petersen Museum is the most distinctive landmark, and other must-see attractions include the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Pavilion for Japanese Art, and the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, which are all within one block of one another.
The famous Miracle Mile shopping district anchors the community, with numerous office buildings, eclectic eateries, convenient shops, and the historic El Rey Theatre. Foodies swear by the cafes of Little Ethiopia, and the gastronomic wonderland of Koreatown is just a few blocks away.
Much of the neighborhood is residential, incorporating everything from suburban single-family homes with manicured lawns to ultra-modern apartments and condos in the thick of it all.

Property Ratings at Orange Street
For your health and well-being, don’t live here. Temperatures inside the units rise to an unlivable point even with a wall AC installed, you can’t turn on more than two electrical appliances without the fuse blowing, and management takes hours to respond. Most of the time, the code to the gate doesn’t work as well. Moving out was my highlight of 2021.
There are so many advantages to living at Orange Street. First of all, it is one of the best parts of Los Angeles, adjacent to Beverly Hills and within walking distance to The Grove/Farmers Market, Beverly Center, Cedars Sinai, Restaurant Row on La Cienga and just a block off Wilshire Blvd. The apartments are warm and cozy. The building has secured access which makes me feel a bit more comfortable. There is onsite laundry which is convenient and I have never had to wait to use it. It is small enough to know and enjoy the neighbors. And the residential neighborhood is simply charming. The management company and onsite manager are extremely responsive. I haven't had any major issues in 2-1/2 years and the little minor ones are always addressed promptly. The apartments are among the most affordable in the area and many of the units have parking which is a big bonus in this area. I feel very fortunate to have found this apartment at the time I needed one.
