Property Ratings at Orchard Crossing Apartments
It was this month, October, 13 years ago that I moved to The Orchard crossing apartments. I was reflecting how thankful I am for moving into this place and this community. My neighbors have been so kind and a great support system for me. One thing over the years that has remained constant is our Management and Maintenance team. They uphold the facilities and the grounds are always kept clean. the personnel are warm and friendly and listen to the tenants needs. We also have great security in place, so although we have had some altercations, I have had great peace of mind and feel safe living here. We are a diverse group of people , families, single people and plenty of pets live here. I like that we are close to the park, grocery stores and schools. It’s quiet and peaceful living, but at times we do get loud cars coming through. The rent here has been affordable although like everything else it does get increased and we also pay an additional multi-housing bill. I have to say that this is the best apartment complex I have lived in. I’m still here and love it.
I love the location of this Fairfield apartment complex. Washer and dryer onsite is a huge plus too. I also would like to add that the staff is awesome. Very accommodating and always responds to requests and needs promptly.
If I could leave a worse review I would. I lived here for three years and the management and maintenance people are the worst. They try to bully and intimidate people so they don't have to repair the run down units. Then if you continue to complain about you unit needing repairs, they just won't renew your lease. I had to take these people to court after they would not renew my lease because I complained about my freezer not keeping my food frozen. 42 days later the issue was addressed. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. DO NOT MOVE IN. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200. ??
Been living here 8 years and I'm excited about all the new beautification projects happening. The grounds are always nice and residents start community walking groups because many of us have been here for so long-it's like family. Management really looks to invest in the best. Hope you are going to check this out for yourself.
I have rented at Orchard Crossing Apartments for more than 3 years. the rent was not worth what we were paying. the boiler was too old and the hot water was always cold even even when you took a shower, day or night. the power outlets were old. electrical outlets in electrical wiring needs to be done in these buildings. Orchard Crossing is a waste of your time and money. the complex is very outdated and is not worth spending the money that the owner or manager wants to rent it for. management has really bad communication so if you're trying to contact a manager or a leasing agent or whatever you call it you won't be able to get ahold of them. there is gated access at the property and the gates are always closed during commute time so if you're commuting to and from work you're going to have issues getting in and getting out as there is traffic which is usually heavy in the mornings because of the school in the area and heavy in the afternoons as well. there is a gate code which is not always given out. the only thing that has been done since 2002 maybe an outside. There is always smoke coming from the vent where you couldn't breathe and your nose was always stuffy and there was always drug dealers they never kicked out but they will kick out a family that needs a roof over there heads. and there was renters that painting on the building which in the pictures it says that the building is probably pink but it's not anymore because it's been painted in the pictures on this site does not reflect the property.
