Beaverton's Raleigh West neighborhood sits two miles east, or a 10-minute bike ride, from the city center. Commercial and manufacturing operations take up the majority of space in this mixed-use district, and residential zones occupy the northwest corner and run along the eastern edge. Large lots, tall trees, and lush landscaping lend a calm, spacious atmosphere to subdivisions where houses and apartments share the streets.
The mixed-use nature of Raleigh West means residents enjoy easy access to retail businesses and restaurants. Strip malls, big-box stores, and stand-alone shops provide goods ranging from craft supplies to power tools. Eateries include everything from fast food to casual dining. For upscale bar eats and rotating beer taps with friends, try the Wine & Growl. For pizza, pasta, and cheesecake, eat in or grab takeout from Ernesto's Italian Restaurant.

Property Ratings at Oriel Apartments
Do NOT rent from this place! I was a prospective tenant and attempted to view apartments on a Sunday afternoon long before closing. I showed up and the office was locked and dark. The following week i went into the office and spoke with the manager and she said hmmm, there should have been someone here. I then went to view the apartment we were going to rent and found two windows open and mine broken one out of its frame. This all while there was a rain storm with rain going sideways with the window sills filling up with water and the carpet getting soaked. I went back the following Saturday to show the apartment to my wife and the windows were STILL OPEN and the other one still out of its frame. Oh and it was raining off and on all week. Also, NO ONE at the office AGAIN. We went back two hours later, STILL NO ONE at the office. Now, take into consideration they have a LOT of units available for such a small community and that should indicate that this is a typical operating system for this complex with little to no care about what happens to the community or the residents. AGAIN, rent at your own risk.
An apartment complex that I am proud to call home! If searching for an upscale pleasant apartment that is surrounded by lovely flowering trees, bushes, and plants plus professionally managed by a friendly, caring, and understanding staff then Oriel Apartments is the place for you.
The money is not worth the location. The service you get is poor. The apartment is cheap and poorly made and has rust and black mold in the windows. It is definitely not quiet. In the spring and summer time high school children drive fast down the road blasting music. For those who wake up at 4:45am. They have games at the high school going up until 10:30pm and as early as 7:30. The apartment manager is anything but responsive. She has a very “sucks to be you attitude”. The size is decent, but that is the only thing going for these apartments. The maintenance requests were never completed on time. Furthermore, when things break because they are cheaply made or weak it is always your fault. Save your money.

Location, Location, Location. Next to Jesuit High School, near Fred Meyers and New Seasons. Library and Restaurants nearby. I have lived here for a year and have found Oriel to be the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. My apartment is bright and sunny and cheerful. It is VERY quiet. I have had two different upstairs neighbors and were barely aware they were there. Love the gas range! The gas fireplace heats efficiently and makes cold mornings very cozy. With a side unit I have windows on three sides which makes it feel even more spacious. Management takes great pains with their landscaping and right now the red Rhodies are in full bloom. Lots of Spring-blooming trees and the fall foliage is spectacular. Any repair requests were responded to and taken care of in a timely manner. Clubhouse and Gym just received a major re-do and the pool and Jacuzzi surroundings have been resurfaced. As with any other complex, there are rules to follow. They are reasonable and keep the entire property clean and inviting. As another reviewer said, "f you would like to live in a safe, responsive, considerate environment come to here." Julie is friendly and responsive to requests. .
The appliances are old and have not been updated since the apartments were built. Management does not listen and when they try to fix things, instead of updating the appliances they jimmy-rig solutions. I had to call management to get them to fix my dryer 5 times before they actually listened and then told me it was a fire hazard. They update cosmetic issues as a priority over resident issues. The dish washer is falling apart and the oven smells like gasoline when it is turned on. On top of it, the apartments are over priced. Despite the location I would not suggest moving in here. You can find a better apartment anywhere else. Do not get sucked in by their office or show-apartment, the appliances in those units are "updated".

Honestly way overpriced based off the shape of the unit, little to no response from the management team. Regretting this decision to lease here more and more each month. Wish there was a way to give 0 stars.

Lived here now for seven months. These apartments are way to expensive! These apartments are NOT that nice. There are cracks everywhere, the paint is chipping off, the bath tubs are impossible to clean, the doors are painted and are filthy. For 178 apartments there is ONE person to handle all the repairs. ONE PERSON. When we had ice and snow they didn't salt the stairs or sidewalks. I had to walk down three flights of stairs on the ice and almost broke my neck, which they would be liable for. The appliances haven't been replaced since they built the apartments. The dishwasher hardly works and has pieces falling off. Our washer is broken and makes a horrible sound which we have complained several times about and he says he's fixed its not. Parking is ridiculous. Only residents are allowed to park in the parking lot but other residents let their guests park there and the office does nothing about it. They bend the rules to each resident based on their age. Because we are young we have to follow the rules but the older people don't have to. The kitchen has no storage for recycling so you forced to keep it above the washer or take it out with the trash. The only good thing about this apartment is that its bigger than the typical apartment around here. Plenty of space.
If you would like to live in a safe, responsive, considerate environment come to here.
