Property Ratings at Outlook Apartments
The workers of these apartments have undermined the residents of the apartments. They have continuously changed the original lease without courteously telling their residents of the changes. They changed it so that the residents original fees when leaving have been changed and increased. They have also sprayed their lawns with chemicals(Unknown)and they had”forgotten” to tell the residents of such actions, these chemicals have cause many animals to break out in sores and in chemical burning. If you are thinking of this place as your next place to settle down I would strongly advise you not to do so.
We have lived here for almost one year and have just renewed our lease for two more years. After living in a single family home for 35 years, we decided it was time to move into an apartment. We were not sure how we would like it, but have now decided that it was a good decision. Our apartment feels like our home. The office ladies are so great to work with. The maintenance of our homes are always impeccable-the lawn is always mowed, snow is removed and problems are addressed in a quick fashion. This past weekend our AC was not working properly. Tonight it wasn't working at all. I sent a service request expecting someone to come and check it out on Monday. I was pleasantly surprised when within 5 minutes Micah called and then came over and fixed the problem. He went above and beyond when he didn't need to. I wanted to write and let you know how much we appreciate each one of you. For being so kind to our family and the extra mile that you all go to make sure our experience here has been a great one. Thank you again for all that you do! Outlook Apartments is very lucky to have each
Been great apartments, love the location. The office staff is the only bad thing.
I've loved living here . The staff at out look have been a wonderful help to me financially and with my stay here . They are very pet friendly as well. I love feeling at home in my apartment I have had no issues with utilities or the internet. The gym and pool access was very nice . Whitley the manager keeps up to date with my fiancé and me and our needs in our lives . She's very friendly and I'm grateful for her and our look .
I love living here. The office has been a huge help to me with their service and helped me with my needs. They are very friendly towards me and my fiancé . I have seen them treat other people with high respect . I love our apartment and the feel of home inside of it . Whitley the manager keeps up to date with people in their lives and finical needs . She's an amazing help and person as well . I'm grateful to out look apartments .
We have lived here for 27 months. Our experience here has been somewhat like that of buying a brand new car. When you first get it, everything is great and you can only see how new and shiny it is. Then after time goes by, you start to notice things that aren't as good as you originally thought. When we moved to Outlook everything was brand new and shiny, but overtime we have noticed some things that could be better. Even so, we still give it 5 stars. The apartment is very nice and quiet. The grounds are well maintained, and management does listen to and try to correct concerns. Good communication is key to a positive experience here. We still believe Outlook is the best apartment complex in the area.
I woud definitely give outlook no stars if that were an option. Just so you are aware, they charge you for things that are not outlined in your contract and they don't tell you about it until you've signed everything. They tell you that there is a $140 dollar charge upon move out for cleaning, another $45 for cleaning as needed, $90 for carpet if you have a pet, then they tried to charge us for the day after our contract had ended which was another $50, then for paint! It says in the contract you can have some holes as long as nothing is past normal wear and tear you don't have to pay anything extra; there was nothing on our moveout sheet that said past normal wear and tear yet there it was, a $50 dollar charge for the paint. The last thing that the contract states is that upon move out your utilities that are due will come out of the security deposit you gave them when you signed the contract, they tried to charge us for those too. Our normal water bill the entire time we were there was $10 and sewage was like 3 yet we had a bill at the end for almost $29 for water and $25 for sewage. We went to talks to the office and guess what? The couldn't show us where in he contract it had all this! Check your contracts folks because they haven't changed it yet and you shouldn't be forced to spend over $400 dollars on charges that are made up and not in the fine print. Or just don't rent from here.
Upon moving here in September we were really excited! The apartments are beautiful and spacious with lots of storage! The grounds are kept very clean, they grass and flowers look beautiful and anytime we have an issue with appliances or a utility they are very prompt to get that fixed! Aside from all of that our experience has been less than pleasurable.. We were told when we were checking out the apartments that they put an extra layer of meeting between the walls and flooring to better sound proof; either they didn't install these in every apartment or it's nt very quality. We can hear EVERYTHING above us.. And when we've tried to contact management we either don't get a response until many days later, or they tell us that it's typical 'apartment noises'. Nothing has been done yet to fix this. And we've chatted with multiple neighbors and they have the exact same complaints we do.. So it's not just a one sided incident. Also something else that seems borderline dangerous is the parking situation out in the streets.. There is more than enough provided parking areas except the streets they allow basically anyone to park any which way they want, and they are so crowded that there has been a few incidents where we've seen kids run out into the streets and almost get hit by cars, and our own cars have also almost been hit because there's barely enough space to drive through. We will definitely NOT be extending our lease or recommending to anyone. We 100% understand that you will hear occasional noise, but unfortunately when it's more than just that and the issue never seems to be addressed it really makes us question how much they value their renters.
Notice that all of the high reviews are from people who have just started living in the apartments. As soon as people start moving out they will be angry and disappointed with the office like I was. They do not disclose all of the fees they intend to charge you when you sign the lease and they mislead you with their terminology. When you first move into the complex, everything seems good and you think they are straight forward with you. As time goes on, you will notice that they nickle and dime you left and right when you move out, they will try to charge you move out and cleaning fees that are not in the lease. You can easily end up paying hundreds of extra dollars more than you planned by the time you are finished moving out. I have nothing against them charging premium rent for their apartments. That's their right. I have a problem with them telling you one thing when you talk to them, changing their story later, and then surprising you with extra fees. Don't believe what they tell you in the office. They will tell you what you want to hear and then charge you what they think they can get away with charging you.
I love where i live!, it is still under construction so it does have alot of noise during the day and there are also tons of bugs. But besides those 2 things it is an awesome place to live!
it is a larger apartment complex, but it has a smaller feel. Apartment layout is very nice with a great flow. really nice private patio area attached to each apartment. tons of storage. nice, energy efficient appliances. the amenities are amazing! beautiful pool area, gorgeous clubhouse with kitchen area, 2 fitness areas with cardio cinema.
My husband and I and our puppy Khaleesi have been living at the Outlook Apartments for about 6 months and we absolutely LOVE it!!! Compared to our last place, which was cheap and pretty shady (although good for us since my husband is going through law school here and we're not exactly millionaires) Outlook is like a palace! The dark like-wood floors, the granite countertops, the open floor plan, and each room is so spacious! Not only that, but there's a pool, 2 workout rooms-one for strength training and one for cardio-and we know all the office employees by name, they are all so friendly and attentive to all that you need! It really feels like a home, not just another apartment. We'll be here for another 10 months before moving to Texas for work, but anyone thinking of moving to this area I always, ALWAYS, recommend this complex!
