Property Ratings at Outlook DTC
Disappointing Experience the lack of security measures in the parking space made it difficult to feel safe and protected within the complex. The apartments have cameras but cars and bicycles often get stolen to even be considered a "luxury apartment". In addition to the security concerns, the sanitation situation at the property was distressing. The maintenance of common areas, such as hallways and stairwells, was severely neglected. Filthy floors, overflowing trash bins, and unpleasant odors were a common sight, indicating a lack of cleanliness and regular maintenance.
There is a high car theft rate in this complex. People are always breaking into the garage and the hallways, floors, and elevators are constantly dirty even though there is a cleaning fee included every month. Definitely not a luxury property.
Staff is friendly and respectful however safety/theft, and cleanliness are an issue that is not prioritized for being a luxury apartment. Cars often get stolen and the foul smell due to the lack of sanitation is often unpleasant especially when friends and family come to visit.
Moved in this year, because it’s close to my work. Looks great on the outside, and the area around the apartment is also nice. But the parking garage is a disaster. People take your “assigned” parking spot all the time, the access to the garage is suppose to be for residents only. But the garage doors that you’re suppose to need a garage door opener for, is constantly open 24/7. My car has been hit twice in a six month time span. Only to have no luck with the renting office or police into accessing the security cameras. There’s been a window in our hallway that’s been broken out since we moved in, along with a note from another resident saying it’s been like that for over a year. Our apartment itself is nice, and the maintenance crew is usually here within a day or two to fix whatever issues we have. Dogs are allowed, but expect to see the dog poop stations overflowing, and be out of bags constantly.
We love our home (especially since weve spent so much time in the the last year)! Its clean, quiet and such a great and bright layout!

Everything is great with the exception of the huge security risk that is the parking garage. Within a week of moving into the Outlook DTC, my vehicle, parked in its designated spot, was struck in a hit and run incurring thousands of dollars of damage. Before moving in, I read and dismissed many scathing Google reviews about the lack of security in the Outlook DTC parking garage, and am now full of regret. I cannot fathom how a garage with a history of so much crime and collisions remains without any surveillance or accountability on management's end to address residents' safety concerns. I am terrified that this will happen again.

Could you please provide us with further feedback on the difference? We were very sorry to hear of the hit and run on your vehicle. While we understand you frustration, we are not accountable for an action we did not commit. We worked diligently with Denver PD in their investigation of this incident and find it disappointing that the decision was made to not hold accountable those actually responsible. Over the years we have worked to make access into our parking garage more difficult for unauthorized individuals, unfortunately no system is fool proof. The security here is terrible. Cars get broken into all the time. Excuses for not having cameras is "privacy concerns". Solutions to this problem exists, but management doesn't care/doesn't want to put in the work/doesn't want the liability. A new security garage door was installed to keep resident cars "safer", which was a great idea, except that it's completely pointless. The security door in the parking garage was installed to prevent unauthorized individuals access to resident vehicles. The problem is, unauthorized individuals can STILL access every floor of the garage. The south stairwell in the garage by guest parking doesn't require a fob for access. The stairwell leads to every floor of the garage, with nothing to stop unauthorized individuals from accessing. This was brought to management's attention, and their response was "that's just how the building was built...." pretty terrible excuse. Security here, especially for vehicles, is terrible.

Best apartment community I have ever lived in. Quiet, well kept, kind staff, kind residents(which is so rare!), great location and amenities. If you are looking for a long term apartment- home, look no further. Mariah and Kylie are the best leasing professionals I have ever encountered and I consider them friends.

Outlook DTC does not care about residents! They are indifferent to health needs and even delay on work order requests. This has been the case several times. When faced with an email about the displeasure in the total lack of responsibility the office has, they send an email indicating they are abdicating responsibility and making it clear they just don't care. This is unacceptable. Please don't rent here.

The apartments are clean and the staff is friendly. The only problem I’ve encountered is having both of my vehicles broken into within days of each other in the parking a garage. Parking garage has no security cameras on the inside as well. Overall a great property, just come prepared with anti theft devices.

Loving the Outlook experience, There are several restaurants that are just steps away. Most do deliveries or curbside pickup. I have a dog and love to take walks, there are doggie stations, a dog run and places to take short or long walks. Very close to Cherry Creek Reservoir, can bike in for free. My apartment has big windows, plenty of sunshine, very comfortable.

Great location, good value
Quality apartments and very friendly staff.
I absolutely love outlook DTC!! As a younger female, I feel extremely safe here and Im happy to show off my apartment to all my friends. My roommate and I visited about 25 different apartments before deciding on this one and once we saw Outlook it was clear this was our home.
Very very noisy due to poor quality of construction
Outlook is accessible, clean and a great place to call home. It's a well placed hub for access to more fun and experience that are within a short distance in the neighborhood. All this combined with the care, responsiveness and friendly nature of the leasing professionals is truly awesome.

There are a lot of positive things to say about Outlook DTC Apartments. It's in a great location, with restaurants and the rail nearby. Leasing Professional, Mariah H., was very friendly and accommodating. Everything looked new, modern, and clean. I loved the mail area for packages, which is very secure and available 24/7. The fitness center and clubhouse are located on the second floor, with lots of windows. And a big bonus is that there is a rentable guest suite so you don't have to sleep on the couch when company comes over! (based on availability). The two downsides of the property for me were there wasn't a lot of green space and it was almost too modern of a feel. Now, this is the Tech Center, so you just need to walk/run/bike a short distance to get to trails. As for the interior of the building and units, it almost felt like living in a hotel. But again, the property has a lot to offer and stayed towards the top of the "move-in list".
