Nestled on the banks of the East River, Williamsburg’s nightlife scene glows just as bright as its art culture. Artists first moved to the area in the 1970s because of its affordability compared to surrounding areas, such as Manhattan. The neighborhood also offers larger homes, and direct access to transportation. In addition, the art community is alive and thriving, with local gallery favorites such as Front Room Gallery and Greenpoint.
To discover whether you should move to Williamsburg, find out what the neighborhood is all about. This area’s energy is unmatched, especially since the neighborhood has become a mecca for the creatives throughout the city. The luxury apartments in Williamsburg are surrounded by exceptional restaurants from authentic takeout to tapas to Michelin-rated fine dining. Longstanding spots like the Brooklyn Brewery have been providing residents with chilled pints since 1988.

Property Ratings at Outpost Co-Living - The Williamsburg House
The Williamsburg House was my first home in NYC, and it set the bar high. I stayed for three months, drawn by the in-unit laundry and modern kitchen. The neighborhood was lively, with Smorgasburg and waterfront views just a short walk away. The roommates were respectful, and the management team was incredibly responsive.
The location and nearby spots make it unique, and the amazing atmosphere adds to the charm. Plus, I’ve met so many great people here—it’s been a fantastic experience!
Outpost Club has been very professional and responsive since day one. Their rates are pretty competitive, which is important for someone like me balancing school and rent. It seems like the apartments are managed by the landlords, but Outpost acts as the go-between, making everything easier. I’ve never had an issue they didn’t address quickly, and their local maintenance team is on it when it comes to fixing things. The short-term lease flexibility was a big factor for me, as my schedule changes frequently. Highly recommend, especially in a fast-moving rental market.
I moved here right before starting a new job in Manhattan, and it was such a relief to find a place so close to the L train. My commute was less than 10 minutes, which is wild for NYC. The apartment was clean, and my roommates were all super laid-back. The only thing I wish was different was that the common areas were a bit bigger — it gets crowded sometimes. But overall, a good spot in a dope neighborhood. Definitely recommend!
Williamsburg House Williamsburg House is in a great spot if you like the artsy vibe of Brooklyn. I’m from Chicago, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the location won me over. It’s right by the Bedford Ave L stop, which made getting into Manhattan quick and easy. The apartment, however, had its issues. It’s a bit cramped, and there was a problem with the A/C when I moved in, but once that got sorted out, things improved. I’d say it’s decent, but maybe a little overpriced for what you get.
I moved here for a short-term lease because of a promo deal. The apartment is stunning, and I could see myself staying long-term if the price were lower. The full rate feels a bit high compared to other options, but it’s fully furnished, and they include professional cleaning, which helps balance it out.
My stay with Outpost Club was really convenient, especially as a summer intern in NYC. The apartment was modern, furnished, and affordable. Their customer service team was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay.
As someone whose work requires a creative approach, I needed more than just a place to sleep—I needed a place that lets me live fully, and Williamsburg House delivered. The apartment is sleek and modern, but it’s the shared spaces that really make it awesome. I’m not holed up in my room 24/7. There’s a ton of cool spots to hang out. My top pick? The rooftop. I take my laptop up there, work in the fresh air, and enjoy stunning views of the city. Way more inspiring than sitting inside all day. When I need a break, the lounge downstairs is perfect for catching up with roommates, grabbing coffee, or just relaxing. There's a real sense of community, which makes it feel like home. Plus, there’s always a quiet space if I need to focus on a project or hop on a Zoom call. I love having the freedom to switch up my environment, and it’s made my work-life balance so much better. If you’re looking for a place where you can be social, stay creative, and actually enjoy where you live, this is the spot!
I love the in-unit appliances and the spacious layout. It can get a bit noisy at times, but the amenities more than make up for it.
The convenience of being able to live here short-term while searching for a permanent apartment is a huge plus. It's not like an Airbnb, as it provides more of a community living experience with shared spaces and amenities. The location was great, and the staff was friendly and responsive. Overall, a solid option for temporary housing in the city!
I'm a big fan of Outpost Club! I've stayed at their Brooklyn and Manhattan locations, including Williamsburg House, and always loved it. Each place felt like a home away from home, and l've consistently met interesting people during my stays.
To me, the coolest part about The Williamsburg House is the movie theater and bicycle storage. The community BBQ area is perfect for weekend gatherings, and the apartment itself is sleek and comfortable.
I've been here for two years now, and it's been mostly great. The apartments are spacious and modern, and the location is convenient for work and leisure. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, but that's a small issue in the grand scheme of things. Would recommend.
I spent the last 8 months at Williamsburg House while completing an internship in the city. They handled everything seamlessly—all I needed to do was pay rent, and everything else was taken care of. The keyless entry system was a convenient feature that worked flawlessly.
I’ve stayed with other coliving companies’ locations and the williamsburg house is by far the most luxurious accommodation I’ve been in yet. The amenities are amazing and I love the loft style bed in my room. Such a unique and beautiful space.
This place is fantastic with spacious common areas, a theater room, kitchen, and a rooftop with a grill. The location is very convenient, being just around the corner from the L train and a 2-minute walk to Whole Foods.
Spotless accommodations, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, stylish decor, and a prime city location.
I really enjoyed my time at Outpost club coliving. The rooms are compact but well-designed, and the shared facilities like the kitchen and lounge are usually kept in good condition. The community events are a great way to meet people, although they could be more frequent. Staff are helpful and generally quick to resolve any issues. It’s a good choice if you want a balance of cost and comfort.
Building is nice and the location is very convenient. The apartments feel like new and the common areas are great: a movie theater, shared kitchen, co-working space, laundry room. There is access to the roof terrace, there is furniture and a stunning view of the city
