This place has a very unprofessional staff that doesn't care about you or your families safety. Trash is everywhere. They don't take care of noise complaints. Good luck with them answering the phone if you need anything. Find a different place for you and your family to live. Don't waste your money here.
I am loving this apartment. It is spacious and hard wood. The apartment is very sound proof. Both of my neighbors are dog owners and I don't ever hear anything from either side. The electricity bill for the first 3 weeks has come in which is around 30 dollars with it blasting at 70 degrees so it has very good power utilization. Maintenance is quick. If you have an issue and you need it resolved quickly call it in. Closets are walk in which is lovely. I got the A1U apartment and so far I am loving it very much. I also love the granite kitchen tops. I highly recommend this place.

I was hesitant to move here because of all the mixed reviewers. You either get really good reviews or really terrible ones- no one between. I called the office to kind of get a first impression to determine whether or not this will be my future home. Keep in mind I’ve moved to enough apartments and suffered enough hell to deal with any more none sense. Immediately the staff who answered was rude. I told her I had a question about her available units. She said sure, give me one minute, and after putting me on hold for 5 minutes she hung up! I can’t imagine what actual residents will put up with in these apartments with these people when they’re already this dismissing with potential future residences.

I don't even know where to start, I have been living in this apartment complex for more than 6 years and going through all the different management companies but the one that is managing the apartment complex now is the worst. There are always excuses about not having a maintenance order fix within a reasonable time, we just got someone breaking into our car because the gate is not working for more than a year now. The property is full of dog's excrement, and the grass is all mud now. The staff is always new and never knows what is happening, the resident portal only works for you to pay rent but you will not work for emails or updates in your maintenance request. We are forced to pay pest control each month and I have been requested to come to my apartment three times already and never stopped by. The only convenience is the garage, which I am using as storage for all the furniture that I have. Thinking of moving if management company does not get better. It is sad because the prices keep getting higher and management is getting cheaper.

We are sorry you feel as if we don't care. The resident portal is for residents to submit maintenance request along with paying your rent. There is a place to send an email as well. If you need to update your email you can do that on your settings in profile. If you need help doing so we can help you with that as well. The gates are working and sadly this does not stop theft as we all know. If there are anymore concerns you would like to address please come by the office and we will be happy to go over them with you.
Do not move here! They are trying to charge me over 2 months worth of rent for vacating our apartment early in order for them to rent it out sooner! People have already moved into our old apartment and now they send us a bill for over 2000 dollars for lease termination! It’s also impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone! 10 out of 10 do not recommend!!!

It’s been more than a few weeks since both the main and the pedestrian gate broke, and no one has bothered to fix it. Apparently, the administration isn’t concerned over the security of the place. Two of of three runners in the gym have as well been broken for more than a few months. During most of May, the pool was out of service, and currently the car wash isn{t working either. During the sunny afternoon of June 11th, when the pool was full of people, the administration ordered to take all of the furniture that was on the pool area, leaving everyone sitting on the hot floor, while giving a vague explanation of why they had taken everything. Overall, a disaster.
Please read this review if you are seriously renting in this complex. Very disappointed in how far this apartment complex has gone downhill in the 2 years I have lived here. When I first came to this complex, it was a gem in the Stone Oak Area. The complex was clean, the grounds were kept up, staff very friendly, some of the best pet policies in the area and residents talked to each other like it was a neighborhood. Then things started to change with the previous management. It became increasingly difficult to get maintenance requests done, the grounds started to become covered in dog poop and weeds, the washers and dryers were always breaking down. This continued for a good 4 months until finally the complex was bought out and re branded Overlook at Stone Oak. At first it seemed that the new owners were going to take a declining situation and turn it around fast. Instead, they have continued to do what many complex owners have done and always will do, maintain the status quo. They are trying to do the bare minimum to keep current residents renewing leases and focusing on signing new residents hard. Can they facilitate repairs that have plaguing my apartment for the better part of a year? No, but they sure can spend money on redoing the clubhouse area. The contractors that they employ to maintain the grounds are horrible. They accomplish the bare minimum to get the job done. The grounds are covered in weeds and ground up plastic bits from the water line covers and old watering system that they chew up with their mowers. I understand that this is a business and that as a current resident that feels ignored I might sound biased. But please be warned, this is a complex that is doing nothing more than collecting rent (overpriced for the sq ft) and managing the revolving door of old and new tenants.
The new property management company that took over is lacking to say the least. It took 2 weeks for a maintenance worker to come by to fix the running toilets that were running up our water bill. The front office staff is very new, and to no fault of their own, aren't very savvy to many of the policies on site. The apartment complex is VERY dark in the evenings. This raises cause for security issues. At one point, then complex was riddled with graffiti of genitalia. The pet park was never clean from feces. There is no mulch, just a big mud pit. The dog wash station is constantly clogged up with dog hair from lazy tenants that never clean up after themselves. There is next to no security on the pool gate which allows anyone to come and take advantage of the pool or wander around in the complex. This wouldn't be so bad if they had an on site security officer, but they are still "working on the situation". Lastly, if you have a pet, prepare to pay at least $140 upon move out. When I inquired about how much the cost would be, I was told three different times that it would be $40 to $50 dollars. Spend your money elsewhere.
The new management is a complete nightmare, work orders take weeks to complete, the gate is always broken as well as the car wash. The property is just falling apart day by day since this new company has taken over
Great location, great maintenance team but not the friendliest leasing agents. Certain apartments have great views of Stone Oak Park and Canyon Golf. Grounds are very well maintained and Pet Friendly. Overall I do like living here and will stay if the price stays reasonable.
This is the worst place to live in San antonio.. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE TO RENT HERE, YOU'll REGRET IT! Lived here for 6 months now and I can not wait until my lease is up. I have never met a more unproffessional, unethical, and cynical group of people.. Being in the construction contracting industry for a number of years I've seen my fair share of poorly built apartments, but for being a fairly new complex and the amount you pay for the place, it's mediocrely built.. Then with the cheap appliances that break you have a maintenance crew which not only unknowlegble and slow, they're also really rude.. And lastly I have never been so appalled by the lack proffesionalism by a managing staff in any type of business ever.. Very rude, and inconsiderate and will try to find a way to fine you any way they can... Don't make the same mistake I did, living here will be a strain on your pocket book and sanity.. WORST IN SAN ANTINIO
