Situated in Northwest Raleigh next to William B. Umstead State Park, Crabtree Valley takes its name from the popular mall located on its central east side. Covering 5,579 acres, this large park has 13 miles of multi-use trails, ideal for horseback riding and bicycling, and over 20 miles of hiking trails.

I think overall this is a lovely property, and I am happy that I live here. The management is trying their best to do a good job and make the resident fee at home for that I am grateful. Continue the good work. God bless.
My experience at Overture Crabtree has been pleasant .
Nice place, many extras like gym, movies, activities. The people here are what really make this place attractive. Some are involved in just about everything, from gardening, to playing BINGO or POKER. Others just like to chitchat. Still others are more observers.
I am happy to be a part of this community. I can be as social as l want, or have privacy when l need it.
Overture is a nice place to live. It provides exercise programs in fully equipped fitness center. Also games and entertainment with music. Excellent opportunity to create new friends.

The residents are very friendly and helpful and there is always something to do. Learning new games is a fun way to meet new people. As in any apartment building there is a certain amount of noise from your neighbors, but not a game changer. There are lots of outings and reasons to gather in the great room as well as a variety of fitness classes for every age and ability.

Enjoying the puzzles. Getting to talk to residents while engaged in this activity is good. I have met at least 5 new friends this way. But the lighting of the area could be better.

So far I’m enjoying my apartment living. Everyone seems friendly. Getting adjusted to new administrative staff takes awhile. There has been several new staff members since I first moved in.

Overture is a great place to reside. The residents are nice, and are willing to help one another in any way possible. The maintenance team is the best ever. They are always there when you need them. They are very knowledgeable and professional. We have an office staff that's very considerate. They are always there for us. Our manager is never too busy . Regardless to how busy she is, she will come out of her office, to address our concern.

I love it here. Plenty to do and I can choose things I would like to do. I like the schedule they have monthly and appreciate that management values our options,
The property is well maintained and managed, with courteous and friendly staff. Maintenance staff responds quickly, solves the issue, and, if necessary explains what needs to be done within a given time-frame. Management is most helpful and open to questions at any time. The office is always staffed, ready to be of assistance. Our apartment is lovely, quiet, and spacious. When we moved in, we found it clean and ready for us. Thank you, Overture Crabtree, for providing and maintaining a delightful property for active adults 55 !

I am having a very good experience with my apartment community. The residents are very friendly and many are very active. They lead various activities in the community. It is fun to work alone side other residents to celebrate holidays or other recognitions. For example, there was a recognition for breast cancer awareness which included a “walk” and spaghetti and meatballs luncheon with all the trimmings and decorations. The same was true for Black History month which included presentations, games and food every week during the holiday. These are the events I have enjoyed. Other regular activities include an excellent weekly breakfast and weekly wine Don with heavy refreshments which are staff led. There are also organized games and activities which are resident led. These are the things that create “community.” These are the things that active residents love.
A car is a necessity or one is confined to Overture. I was sad to discover that there is absolutely nothing within walking distance. Those who enjoy Overture have cars and the physical ability to walk around the very hilly block or use the gym. The residents who are the happiest here have excellent health, a vehicle, and a family who checks on them. Keep in mind that this facility is for very “Active Seniors,” and is not “Independent Living.” I would suggest staying in the guest suite, checking the “walk score,” and the “noise levels,” prior to becoming a resident. While my personal experience may not be stellar, those who love lots of activities, parties, games, and have transportation love it!
The office staff is very helpful and do their best to help solve any problem I have.

There lots of steps to finish before your move-in but there is always someone in the office ready to help you. I had lots and lots of questions about everything about my move but they never seemed to mind when I called for answers.

The staff was professional and informative as we toured the community and went through the application process. Maintenance was very helpful for any minor issues we had upon move-in. We have been too busy for the past 2 weeks as we settled in but now we are ready to start enjoying some of the great social activities offered here!

At this time in my life Overature Crabtree offers carefree living with complete independence. There is always something to do with your peers and quiet times when you want to be alone. Being with people and being as active as you can be is paramount to happy, healthy aging!

Shoddy workmanship of this bldg is causing lots of issues now. Management is more concerned with just filling empty apartments; not dealing with the current occupants.
We have an awesome management team at Overture Crabtree. They are direct but polite and follow through with all communications. The community is kept very clean and the maintenance staff are very prompt with work orders. We at Overture Crabtree are very fortunate to all of these things.
This is a good place to be. The warm and kindness of the residence is amazing. The cleanliness of the place is lovely and when something needs to be done in the apartment it is done in a timely fashion. Thank you

Life at Overture is fun. You can be as independent as you like or participate in the programs the office personnel provide. You will create friendships that will sustain you. It is like a large family.
Really like the open area downstairs where events are held. Convenience to shopping centers and grocery stores. Family like atmosphere. Convenience to mailroom.
