Property Ratings at Oviedo Grove
We are a family of 4 that have moved here from England and can honestly say this place is amazing the staff are so friendly and very welcoming the apartments are a fantastic size the pool and the gym are great definitely worth 5 stars
I love this community. These apartments are a great value with all the updated amenities the newer apartments have. Kristine, Bre and Kim make living here feel like home. They are easy to talk to and are always helpful, honest and pleasant. They set up resident events like Zumba, food truck days, breakfast for residents and so much more. Maintenance is amazing (especially David) and get everything fixed within 24 hours and make sure they get the repair right the first time. They are easy to talk to and don’t make you feel bad when the issue is resident error lol! The staff here has far exceeded my expectations!!!
Like many reviews have already said, very invasive construction that lasted 3 months, zero compensation for having a very compromised living space. There were massive holes in the walls of every bedroom, and of course the noise was unbearable. I can’t imagine how it was for say someone who worked Night Shift and wanted to sleep during the day, because it was not possible. Water fountain in the reception office needed a filter change the entire duration of my lease and was not replaced once. Would not recommend this place for anyone
I currently live in the first building of construction. I wasn't too thrilled about construction when first informed about it. I was even a little mad because I didn't know what to expect. There was a week or 2 that were louder than the rest but overall it wasn't too bad. They are finishing paint on my building and I am excited to see what it will look like after landscaping is done. Overall, I love it here and have been here for 4 years. It's a normal apartment community, so you will have a work order from time to time but maintenance always fixes it fast. Even with construction, I still give this place 5 stars.
Did you ever stop to consider people's lives at all, or is the "beautification project" as you call it, more important than our current lives? Did you forget that people work from home? Study from home? Lately being here feels more like residing at a hotel. I never want to be home these days. You gave us way too short of a notice (not that one more in advance would've made this situation better in general) before disrupting our lives in ALL ENTIRETY. We had to move most of our furniture 3 feet from the walls (for who knows how long) and everything off our patios. A construction crew came in and took our windows out, leaving only a PIECE OF PLASTIC behind that they STAPLED and DUCT-TAPED to the wall - which I'm SURE we'll be charged for once we move out. The entire building is covered in a black cloth where no sunlight can reach it. People have to park far from their buildings to avoid crew accidentally ruining our cars or dust getting on them or being blocked into a space by the crew's equipment. In JUNE. When it rains regularly. That means we have to get soaked to get into our apartments, where things aren't much better lately because everything smells like mold and sewer and moisture soaks into every crevice of the building anyway. And if you need to hold onto the railing because of the rain, forget about it. They and the stairs are never washed. It's all unsanitary. COCKROACHES are coming up the drains because of this stupid project and the disruption of the land, when we've never had them before. Even bugs can't be at peace, imagine that. Every time I use the bathroom I'm wondering if I'll encounter yet ANOTHER cockroach. Every morning at 8 ON THE DOT I'm awoken by hammers, yelling, and drilling so intense that it shakes the ENTIRE floor. Even pets can't be moved into the bathroom because, oh yeah, COCKROACHES are coming up the drains. And on top of it all, you have the NERVE to raise rent $200 DURING this process? We're paying to never be home and live in a world of darkness and sadness. And no, there's NOTHING you can do to make it better except use a time machine to return to a time before the idea was even proposed. The anger as a tenant is unmatched. -1,000,000 stars.
being given one weeks' notice that im losing about a third of my apartment space so that loud construction can be done inside and out of my apartment is unacceptable. and the only estimate is that things will be done in three months. on top of that, they arent offering any form of compensation. -and- they then are asking for -higher- rent the coming month. absolutely ridiculous, these people have no regard for your living concerns, youre better off steering clear.
This apartment really has set my bar high for other apartments. There is great comunication with the leasing office team and they know a lot of the residents by name which is amazing. They have a beautiful view when facing the pond on the center of the complex and the maintnence team is SO FAST! I've had my shower and toilet fixed when I moved in my apartment and both instances they were here within the hour. The complex is clean and relatively quiet depending on if you are on the outer or inner side of the building but outer noise doesn't seem too loud during the evening/night. I really would reccomend moving here.

What we like about living here: a great school zone, Oviedo, close to shopping and dining. I wish I could give it 5 stars but in the end it is an average Florida apartment complex. The patio/balcony is very, very small (we have a 3/2). The bike storage they advertised is just one rack by the tennis courts packed with bikes. The pet park they advertised is a 20x10 area - mostly a ditch. Even with an upgraded apartment (granite) the windows are very old and have poor insulation and it feels basic-not luxury. If you want quiet-you will not find that here. There are 2 daycare centers abutting the complex and the children are loud. You can hear road noise and noisy neighbors. When shopping for an apartment keep in mind they want to make money. It really isn’t about you.
We moved in about 3 months ago and absolutely love it! Every one of the staff members are very patient and answer any questions that you may have. Moving here from North Carolina and going from a house to an apartment was a big move for us and I had so many questions . The staff took time and answered all of my questions completely. We also had a maintenance request about the dryer and the problem was addressed and taken care of right away , along with a follow up call to be sure we were happy with the repair. I also really feel like I'm at home here . We are a family with three children and I feel very safe here. The other residents are very friendly as well . The location couldn't be better! It's central to just about everything we do on a weekly basis . I just can't say enough good things about Oviedo Grove, I'm so happy to be here! -Jan

Jan, I am so glad that you had such a good experience here at Oviedo Grove. We are so thankful you took a moment to share with us and hope you have a wonderful day!
Our family has lived in 8 different apartment complexes in 4 states. We have lived at the apartment for the last 7 yrs. The staff that works here are the best. They know you by name and really care about our family. The apartment is a great design and well built. You can barely hear your neighbors and there is a ton of parking. The staff monthly has different contest and special days like breakfast and movie night that you can attended. I highly recommend this complex for anyone who wants a nice safe place to live. Awesome schools for you children to attend and near restaurants and shops.
