Baytown presents a thriving residential area with an emphasis on family life. This community offers a balance between a quiet suburban lifestyle and the energetic ambition that comes with ample business opportunities. Speaking of – the city’s economy relies strongly on petroleum production.
Located by the water, Baytown’s Houston Ship Channel is one of the neighborhood’s biggest attractions. The nearby nature center is a sight to see and home to hundreds of land and aquatic animal species. When you’re not at home in your apartment, the Downtown Arts District has a number of culture programs like the Baytown Little Theatre, which has been run exclusively by volunteers for over 50 years.
In the event you’re not outside enjoying the bay views, you might be shopping at the San Jacinto Mall or lavishing in the comforts of your Baytown home.

Property Ratings at Oxford at Country Club
Where do I even start....out of my 37 yrs here on earth I have never experienced anything like this. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I moved into this apartment on 8/19/23 and it was the biggest mistake I have made in a long time, in less then 24hrs the roaches took over, im assuming the treatments they did 1hr before I moved in did not work and specifically told me it wasn't for roaches or rats after i asked to their face. Don't even get me started on the odor the apartment has and the half cleaning that was supposedly done before my arrival from Alabama with my sick child, I am just disgusted and cannot wait to be disassociate with the facility. There is dog crap everywhere you walk on the grounds and on the stairs that look like they will fall apart any day now. I don't want to cook or eat anything in this place none the less my stuff will remain packed until i leave. Oh the best part was when my son comes to me saying mom it's a bug in my room and I have to lie and tell him it's was a beetle so that he wouldn't be scared to sleep smh. People just be careful when renting sight unseen or moving across states these companies will try anything and ask to see a vacant apartment to see actual apartment and not the model. Wish I could upload this video Smh. Oh my son also stepped on a nail that sticking up in the carpet. You can hear the person above you walking it sounds like stomping. Beware..
I was referred by a very good friend that this would be a great way to give a review to Oxford at country club. I have to say I have been living here since 2017 and I have loved every minute of it. The property just gets better and better. I must say is very family oriented, variety of things to do as they go through the year planning things for the tenants and even giving away prices..I came to one point where I wanted to move to humble to be closer to work, but after months of looking for a new place I cant lie so far these apts are NICE/AFFORDABLE! Parking situation is at its BEST! STICKERS FOR RESIDENTS AND FREE PARKING FOR VISITORS..but just like any other apt you have to follow rules. Apartment management ALWAYS HAS COMMUNICATED with me and ALWAYS HAVE GONE ABOVE/BEYOND to make sure im taken care of, as well as the rest of the people that live here. The way I see it, if you don't communicate they can't help. But just like any other complex they have to do their job to keep up with the complex. The new system for parking im loving it. It took me less than 10min to send them my vehicle info and everything else they required and in less than a week I got my sticker! These girls are ALWAYS ON TOP OF IT ALL..Cant leave maintenance out. I LOVE THE GUYS! Always there when I need them. But very rare does anything happen with the apts..so what does that tell you guys..if you are NOT LIVING AT OXFORD AT COUNTRY CLUB..YOUR NOT LIVING IN THE RIGHT PLACE!

They don’t communicate with the tenants. Car got towed and I stay their. Now I have to pay $317 to get my car out the tow. Rent is already high!!!
I have lived at my one bedroom apartment since September 2019 and I am very happy and comfortable. My 830 sq foot home is spacious with high ceilings and crown molding and open kitchen concept. I have had many compliments from friends who have visited. My aparment feels like stepping into a house rather than an apartment each time I come home at the end of my work day. I was happy to get a poolside view with no additional cost. I signed a year lease and plan to sign again in September. I have personally recommended this complex to many friends. I walk my puppy dog in the evenings and feel very safe doing so. Oxford is a great place to call home! It is Home sweet home apartment living at its best!
I moved here in April the office staff and Maintenance is very kind and helpful.
So I’ve been living here at oxford for about 4 months it’s terrible and trashy place to live!!! Not kid friendly outside there is trash in the grass that doesn’t get picked up it will stay out there for weeks as well as the dog poop it’s everywhere! They don’t. Pick it up! Fire ants everywhere they don’t come and spray that they say they will but don’t. Just like they say they will pick up the dog poop/ trash outside but they don’t! Terrible management u go to fill out ur stuff than they say everything is done than they contact u and say u didn’t fill something out when u did they just lost their paper work! So annoying!!!!!! They said they will put work order in but doesn’t get taken care of. Also I’m a clean freak so I’m always cleaning and there were Kant’s flying all over when we got here and roaches here they come out of no where it’s disgusting!! The hardwood floors are leveled! It’s overly priced for not looking nice! Also if u have kids they say that can’t come past control bcuz ur child/ children are here. Ummm ask us to leave than most apartment places Spray outside anyways. Haven’t seen them come dpray outside or inside since I’ve been here for 4 months. The residents here are nasty they throw trash off the balcony with beer bottles/ cans and don’t pick it up nor doesn’t the people who work here. Also phase 1 pool has been chained lately like they don’t wanna walk over there to unlock the pool. And the people who live here drive fast through the apartment complex so always have to be extra careful. And the big trash outside is always over flowing. I see lots of people leave their trash outside the door which creates bugs close to the doors. When there is a problem management doesn’t take care of it very well . Waste of money here go live somewhere else. We are waiting for our lease to be don’t bcuz we won’t be renewing it at this nasty place!
My husband and I have lived here (Phase II) for almost 2 years. The first year we had no problems. Management was good for the most part and our apartment was clean. The gate is broken constantly so it is unfair to call this a “gated community”, especially because there’s always cars sitting outside the gate waiting for someone with a clicker to open it. However, we had no real problems but were facing Bush Rd and the traffic at night was loud. Wanting to get away from that and move into a larger apartment, we decided to renew our lease but in a different building. That was the biggest mistake and things have been a true nightmare ever since. The new apartment was absolutely INFESTED with the tiny dirty roaches. It took us 6 months of active pest control to get it under control. The first month we were literally killing 10 a day and they were everywhere. Crawling up the walls, in the cabinets. Management was not sympathetic or helpful. Both the neighbors above and behind us are loud. The people behind us party every single weekend and it absolutely does not matter which room of our 2-bedroom apartment you’re standing in, their bass will rattle your chest. They start around 7-8pm and go until 3am. Calling the police only backfired on us as they got extremely aggressive after the police left and turned the music up louder and banged on the adjoining wall. We notified management who assured us that they would take care of it, but surprise - never did. I have email correspondence with them and I kept a detailed list of dates/times the problem was happening but management has changed hands so many times that it doesn’t even matter at this point. You complain and they claim they have no record of the first complaint and they don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s extremely obvious that this complex has gone WAY down in the last year and that management has no idea how to manage or simply does not care. The grounds are always filthy, the pool is overrun with non-residents. It took 2 months for a maintenance request on my oven to be fixed. A part needed to be ordered which took a month, but it took them a month before they even came to look at the oven to see that I needed a new part. We have a friend in a different building who has been here for several years and the quality of tenants in his building has gone down as well. He also suffers with loud music late at night. Our lease is up in October and needless to say, we are counting down the days.
My roof leaked for weeks before anyone came out. Also was charged about 1000 dollars after I moved out for “damages” and cleaning fees when apartment had been cleaned. It’s ridiculous that you get charged for cleaning and painting when that should be expected after someone lived there for 2 years.
I’ve lived at the Oxford for a little over a year. It’s a quiet complex with beautiful apartments. There are two pools and two gyms along with a club house. We also just got new pool furniture! The staff is friendly and the manager Charlene is awesome! She is patient and willing to help out with any issue you are having! I’ve seen much improvement since she joined the Oxford and she is one of the reasons we decided to lease for another year. Lastly, maintenance is quick and there is a convenient portal you can use for payment/work orders.
The apartments are nice but not as nice as they look online. First there are 2 sections. Phase 1 and Phase 2. Basically they started with 1 section and then later expanded when they got busier. I live in the newer phase but you can't tell. -The "hardwood" floors are actually laminate. They floor is not flat as hard woods should be. You can see raising on areas where the cement is poking up. -The apartment was not cleaned when we got there. It was mostly clean but after looking in the "clean" fridge when we moved in there were visible food marks on areas that were visible and 3 baby roaches dead on the egg holder section. I don't know the material the counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms are made of but it is definitely NOT marble. If you leave water sitting on it for more than 3 minutes it starts to absorb and the counter top gets darker in that spot. -The bathroom toilet had a long hair on it and the walls were painted in a rush because there is small paint dots along ALL the walls. There is even pieces of rope and debris stuck to the call were instead of wiping it off they just painted over it instead. -I vacuumed the bedrooms because obviously after seeing everything else I didn't trust the vacuum marks and of course a lot of dirt came out. Also a lot of the carpet fibers came out. So the carpet is cheap and not soft I might add. -We got a 2 bedroom and the walls are pretty thin. (especially considering we are in the "newer" building) I can hear the upstairs neighbors alarm every morning, very clearly I might add. If I didn't wake up earlier than them then their alarm would definitely wake me up. I can also hear the neighbor that I share a bedroom wall with talking and listening to music (literately can hear every word sometimes). -Also if you have a noise complaint don't expect them to do anything but send a "warning". One of our neighbors loved to blast his music and drink from 12am-4am and after 4 complaints we gave up telling management because they just send "emails" and act like they can't be bothered since they don't have to listen to it. For the price they charge it should be better. We are NOT going to renew when our lease is up.
Excellent view everything near stores hospital gas station school . Facilities are great pool gym. my wife daughter and me love thos place since day one. Everything nice and clean .Its like a 5 star hotel.
I could say im inlove with these apartments. Everything is so clean, its a quiet place very peaceful and the employes are very kind and polite.
