Property Ratings at Oxford Crossing
Everything is falling apart and they do not care! We have been without a working fridge and stove top for months. I have had to purchase portable appliances due to no maintenance and very uncaring management! There is absolutely no privacy here. There is no homey feeling. They very much let you realize that you live here but it is not your home, simply their property. Property that they fail to take care of in a timely manner. They do not allow you to repair the appliances but also do not allow you to replace them. So, the only other option is to purchase expensive portable ones. I know of several other families who are without working appliances currently. Cigarette butts all over the grounds, trash all over the grounds at the trash container areas, mold and stains all over the buildings. Constant skunk smell due to stoners, drug dealers pulling up constantly and giving off creepy vibes. In the summer time, the ants will carry you off. The place is muddy as heck. They can’t keep steady management. They are too worried about having people move in, renew leases, and who is parking where instead of worrying about keeping the place in good working order. Definitely NOT renewing the lease!
I put a application in went through signing a bunch of paper work almost 2 months later denied as a single parent with two kids stating my income was too high. Here it is two months later I still haven't received my deposit! I've call Wilhoit to resolve this matter and I have yet to receive a call or get my deposit back! Bad management on both ends because I have left plenty of messages and no one has returned my calls!
Oxford Crossing is a wonderful place to call home. The manager takes a lot of pride in the property and it shows. Clean, neat and quiet. I read the other reviews and noticed they negatively mentioned the inspections. The inspections are every 4th month and are painless and also include air filter changes. I absolutely love it here!
Horrbile experience!! No privacy what so ever. Endless inspections, and charges for anything and everything. Management is a joke, very unprofessional. Not kid friendly what so ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!
Lacks the feeling of home you live there and they very well let you know you live there but its their property not your home. There is no privacy and have to explain every detail of your life and lets not mention the endless inspections. Nice apartments but not worth it. Glad I no longer live there!
When I first saw the ground breaking for these apartments, I was on top of getting all information available Bc I wanted to live in the area. I visited the temporary office and was given all information to complete the application. I immediately gathered all the required documentation needed. It took me a few days. I went back to the office with my required information so I could begin the application process. Im certain I had to be one of the first few applicants. I made several visits to the new office location and more calls than imaginable. I constantly had more forms to complete because I was not given proper information to begin with. I complied to everything requested of me. My phone calls were never returned from voicemail. I made at least 60 call plus over a 2 month period with many visits to the office. I also called Corporate in Missori to speak with Management. I was told the regional/district manager would be calling me back. Still no response. People were moving in except me. I still was trying to be patient and do more paperwork that would be given to me that was obviously overlooked from the beginning of me applying. I have not been given any reason except more required paperwork of why my application has not been approved. I spoke with someone at the home office who told me I would get a call from the local office that afternoon, with my approval. (a few days ago) I never received that call from the local office. So once again I was making calls with no response. Today I go on line, to see, all 36-2 bedroom apartments are filled with occupants. I can not express the number of disappointments I have received and how upsetting this experience has been. I was very excited to be able to have my own residence. I absolutely have no reason for my application to be rejected or not approved. I'm a law abiding and an respectable citizen of Catawba County with not one enemy ever in my life. I have been treated very rudely by Jennifer in the office. The fact is they are very unprofessional, condescending and disorganized. (A young lady, Allison kindly did her best) Inspite all I've endured, I still want to reside with the apartments, so I can be close to my disabled mother and my community. If only I could be heard instead of ignored. Sincerely...an honest citizen of Catawba County.
