Property Ratings at Oxford Heights
I'm surprised at some of the reviews. I've been here for about 3 yrs. The grounds are nice and kept well during all seasons. Pet rate is reasonable and the apartment is in great shape! The maintenance is on point, quick and courteous. The pool is quaint and clean as is the gym. They also have a gardening area if you are interested. Mail delivery can be difficult but this is not the property owners fault. You can't blame them because of rowdy neighbors. It happens. This is the reality of apartment living in general.
My husband and I have lived at Oxford Heights for a few years now. At first, living here was fine. However, over the years, new residents began smoking cigarettes in their apartments, being extremely loud, etc. Management is aware but has done nothing to rectify these issues. Your rent increases every year even though the apartments are extremely outdated and old. For the money they charge in rent, you can find a much better place to live than here.
I have lived here for many years. It was great from the beginning and has stayed that way over the years. The managers are nice and helpful. Maintenance is always quick and efficient. Cant beat the location. Apartments are well maintained and nice and quiet.

We are so happy to hear that you have resided at Oxford Heights for many years and we hope you enjoy many more! We care about you.
I've lived in a variety of apartments. This one is just OK. It looks wonderful at first and the managers are great when you first move in, but if anything goes wrong it quickly goes downhill. After 2 years, we had 3 quiet neighboring apartments turn into screaming hellions who smoked weed, slammed things, played loud music, and stomped all through the night. One even started shooting BB guns outside on the sidewalks. I did not sleep properly for nearly a year before I managed to move out. The apartment manager used threatening sales tactics on me at the time, after changing my move-out date without informing me, and then when I confronted them, said that anyone could take my apartment at any time unless I locked something new in immediately. Other cons to the place include the fact they lied about the apartment having new carpet at move-in, how other tenants hog the laundry and sabotage your own, and how horribly drafty it is in winter. I had an ~800sq/ft place and it cost $300+ to heat to 68 degrees in January. Upsides to the place: Their maintenance team is great. They allow pets at a very good fee. They have a pool and a gym which are both taken care of. Overall your experience is entirely at the mercy of whoever they allow to rent next to you, and they will rent to anybody.

We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy and had these issues but we were never made aware of such. We find that most residents come to us with any questions and/or concerns and we have successfully resolved them. We wish you the best.
I have lived at Oxford Heights for 3 years and I love it. My apartment is really nice. The Maintenance staff is always here to fix stuff and does a good job. The Managers are always friendly and helpful. I will live here for a long time.

We appreciate our residents and hope to continue to make you happy and comfortable with your home at Oxford Heights
They treat you kind at first but when you have agreed to live here they act like you don't exist. The management is very rude and maintenance is a joke!
The worst place to live. When you go to rent, they treat you very well. But when you are a resident, everything changes. The laundry is always dirty, the clothes do not dry properly, in summer the pool is more closed than open and always make up an excuse. When I left and went back to my deposit security, they invented a lot of repairs and only returned me 50%, and never gave me the receipt. The manager Melinda is rude and does not respect anyone.
This is my favorite apartment I’ve lived. I have also viewed and seen other apartments and this is my favorite. It has a nice fireplace with balcony. Love the lighting from the large windows. Every room has ceiling lights or wall lights but the bedroom which the other apartments I have lived in did not. Price wise for the apartment size including the balcony is the best. I love the choices I have to decorate or set up the furniture. The bathroom lighting is bright with a closet that includes many shelves which I never had in my other apartments. The closet space here is amazing. The bedroom is large with a walk in closet. I love when I walk in that there is a little wood area for shoes and not walking into carpet right away. When I have called apartment places on the past and when I was currently looking I have never met or talked to someone so friendly and knowledgeable until Jen here at oxford heights. Melinda the property manager is friendly and quick to respond. I am extremely happy to live here. I live in a single bedroom apartment for almost a year. I look forward to continue living here.
I lived here for three years and had a great experience. Management was always available and friendly. I had very few troubles in my time here and was always able to get a quick resolution. I couldn't have been happier with the landlords, it was such a relief not to have to worry about them. The rent only went up a few dollars over three years. I am only moving out now because my job is moving to Buffalo. Otherwise I would be staying Long Term.
My fiancé and I were looking for our first home together. We had our ups and downs, worrying we won't find one. After months of searching. We came across Oxford Heights. Melinda gave us details on a 2bedroom/2bathroom. She saw my anxiousness on hearing and seeing the apartment. Unfortunately it wasn't ready due to another tenant in it. We didn't give up hope so she took down our information and told us she'd be in touch. Shortly after we received a phone call saying that the two bedroom two bath became available. Melinda made us so happy. We are also planning a wedding Within the month of us moving in. We have a little cat that is like a son to us and I couldn't be more excited to have a home to share with my future husband. Next month we say our " I do's" and start our future together. We plan on staying here as long as possible and maybe possibly start a little family. Thank you Oxford Heights for making our life complete!!!
