Pacific Ridge

I scheduled a move out inspection which they did not show up to. They admitted this was a mistake. Then after move out I was billed $1,250, for damage that was not there. I filed a dispute and was in contact for 8 months. They would say they would respond in a few days and the next thing I’d hear was a debt collection notice a month later. They eventually took off $600 of fees since they realized it was already damaged as noted in my move in form and there was no evidence. I am still not happy with the bill I had to pay. They respond to work orders quickly and have very nice amenities.

The only benefit of this apartment complex is its proximity to campus. Otherwise, it is awful. The apartments are infested with ants. Other bugs come in through the vents. It is noisy and the amenities constantly break down. While living there, my storage unit was burglarized, and the complex disclaimed any responsibility and did not even notify the policy of the crime. I have heard of other residents having disputes and suing the company that owns the complex repeatedly. And don't expect any help from the staff -- they are remote and incompetent.

We had the BEST experience with Alexis! She went above and beyond to be very accommodating, helpful and kind! The property is gorgeous with grounds immaculate and very well appointed. Our unit was spotless at move in and everything is kept so clean and beautiful! Thank you!!

PLEASE READ!! I do not normally write reviews, but this review is well deserved. My brother lived at Pacific Ridge for several years while in Law School and every time I would visit him, I felt like I was at a beautiful resort. The complex is extremely clean, the people that I encountered who lived there were very nice and the amenities are stunning. I have always thought about living at Pacific Ridge but wanted to do my fair share of research before applying to Pacific Ridge. I looked at over 20 different apartments online and somehow, I always found myself ending up on the Pacific Ridge Website. The location of Pacific Ridge is prime, safe and the complex has everything I desire when calling a place home, especially an amazing pool and jacuzzi. Through my research of different apartments, Pacific Ridge by far had the best amenities, the most spacious apartments for the price and most importantly, I noticed through my research that Pacific Ridge has a security gate which made me feel even more comfortable with wanting to apply. Finally, after being tired of not finding an apartment that fits all my needs like Pacific Ridge does, I decided to reach out. I took a tour with a lady by the name of Alexis who showed me the entire complex and let me be the first to tell you that when you tour Pacific Ridge in person, you are going to fall in love!! When you walk into these apartments, you will immediately notice that they are clean, very spacious, includes a washer and dryer and the appliances are all updated!! Alexis went above and beyond by showing me several units and honestly, I could live in any of them because each of them were unique and each one had everything, I was looking for in making this new apartment my home. Before I started the application process, I had so many questions and Alexis replied to every single question in no time. I could tell that they cared about their residence which is a big plus for me when applying to a new apartment complex. Having a good and responsive management team is key in keeping your residence happy and satisfied. Alexis, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the time you have spent in answering my questions so that I be satisfied and comfortable with my decision in applying to Pacific Ridge. Finally, I applied and was guided through the entire application process. Once I was approved, I was informed of how to efficiently start the moving-in process! I have been very impressed at the professionalism of the leasing office- with special mention to Nicole Liverpool! She has been very helpful from start to finish. I must have emailed her a ton, and each time she has responded on a timely basis and provided us with straightforward answers. She made the whole leasing process seamless. Thank you very much. My daughter is looking forward to her second year staying at Pacific Ridge!

We just recently moved in and at first we noticed some minor things that needing fixing. After being in the unit for a day or so, we realized our young children could get out of the front door very easily - even when we "locked" the door. My husband went down to the office to ask that they add an additional lock chain on the door for the safety of our children. Nicole understood the urgency needed to get this fixed ASAP, submitted the service request on our behalf and ensured the maintenance team got it taken care of immediately. Thank you Nicole and Rick for taking care of everything so quickly!

No apartment complex compares to Pacific Ridge Apartments in terms of style, design and exclusivity. While there are many college students who live here and live as college students do. I have not had issues with noise or behavior. This is my second time living here, I have been at both ends of this complex and both have stunning views, exciting open floor plans and ease of access to amenities. Thank you Pacific Ridge staff for being on top of all of my concerns and issues. I look forward to another wonderful stay.

Best apartment complex in San Diego! I lived at Pacific Ridge for 5 years, then moved to PB. After 6 months, I had to come back to Pacific Ridge! There is no place as luxurious, convenient, and loaded with amenities including A/C, in-unit laundry, garage parking, great security, gym, snack room, pools, etc.. for such a reasonable price! The staff is great, maintenance is quick and efficient, and it is an overall great living experience!

Awesome facilities and management is very helpful. Minor issues with the apartment which maintenance fixed within the same day. Great for students because of prime location. Highly recommend!

From the beginning the leasing staff, specifically Nicole, was so incredibly helpful in all aspects regarding my prospective apartment. Nicole was very prompt and helped me troubleshoot any problem I had in a timely and efficient manner. The move in process was extremely easy and it was lovely to talk to such a nice leasing office who clearly put a lot of passion and hard work into Pacific Ridge and its residents. Highly recommend Pacific Ridge! They make you feel right at home! And the sunset views can’t be beat!

I am about to sign my second lease at Pacific Ridge. I have really enjoyed living here. As a young woman, I always feel safe and protected. The amenities are amazing and so well kept. I highly recommend it. Nicole is also very helpful and always answers my questions!

I am not one to write reviews as I feel that my own opinion is what matters most. Choosing to live here was based on reviewing websites as our home is in Hawaii. This apartment was for my son who was attending USD. The location was the closest (across the street) that I could find. The underground parking assured me that my son was secure in entering and leaving his vehicle. The security guard entrance gave me comfort with this additional effort in keeping the complex/grounds secure. Any issues that the apartment needed were promptly and professionally taken care of. I liked that he had the gym and pools and were just steps away from his front door. There were so many other amenities that I thought were great but he did not take the time to use them so I cannot comment on everything. Security was very strict on the 10pm quiet time. Trust me! I received calls the next day that my son's apartment violated this curfew! Mountains for the winter sports, beaches for the sunny days, and numerous hiking places convinced my son that he wants to stay in San Diego. Overall as a parent who wants the best for their child, knowing that they are close to school, safe, having amenities right there for them to use, and most of all he had many friends from campus that also lived there so much of his social and study life were all at USD & Pacific Ridge :)

From the very moment we drove onto this property we felt right at home... The Security staff were very polite and professional in directing us to the parking space and Leasing Office. The Leasing Office staff were courteous and answered all our questions and gave us a tour of the property right away! We didn't even have to think about it... We signed the lease agreement the next day and moved into our apartment that weekend! The place is clean, and kept that way by the housekeeping staff. Any maintenance issues are quickly resolved by the on property uniformed maintenance personnel. The luxurious amenities are fantastic... Gym, Pools, Coffee, Conference and Game rooms, are all tastefully decorated and furnished with the upmost comfort to the residents in mind. Once you see this place first hand, you'll want to call it home, too!

I love this apartment,very good and helpful leasing office employees,very good security guards,every time i go to p2 to park my car,i see them that check every where,any time i needed to fix something in my unite ,handy mans coming on time and they do their job perfect,i love coffee room and swimming pool,very lauxury and the bbq area is super clean,i never seen bbq be dirty.their apps helps alot to pay rent very easily and order handy man or getting parking permit.i love you guys.

The property is beautiful and the staff are extremely kind and willing to help you with anything you need. It is very accessible and well managed and taken care of. It truly feels like a second home.

This place screws over its residence. They make the decor and outside look super nice but little do they know that the little things are cheap. Elevators suck, hot tubs never work, walls are thin, college students are everywhere. Then they screw you over with your security deposit when nothing is broken. Make sure to read the fine print because they charge you to repaint when the walls aren't marked at all.

This apartment complex looks really nice from the outside, however, the entire infrastructure is cheap. One elevator per building and on top of that they break every other week and are the slowest elevators I have ever seen. I would normally just use the stairs but they even messed up the stair locations. Also, terrible sound proofing and customer service.

Absolutely loved this complex but it's fairly expensive. I would keep staying here if the rent doesn't raise. But it most certainly a dream complex straight out of a magazine. Just going to the pool makes you feel like royalty. I have lived at a bunch of complexes, I have never lived at one amazing as this!
