Property Ratings at Pacific Terrace
Worse place to live. Unlivable place. Needs to be knocked down.
The positives: The actual studio apartment wasn't in too bad of shape and is affordable. The carpeting had been redone recently, the complex provides a refrigerator, there is ample parking, water is paid for. The management are courteous and respond back quickly. The negatives: There was mold near the vent that I put in repair requests for that were ignored for over three months. The appliances were out of date and in rough shape. I would not recommend going out after sunset (or at all). My mailbox (along with several others) was broken into and it is not uncommon to see a parole officer car parked outside the complex in the mornings. A lot of nights there is loud music coming from every which way. Based on what I saw personally and what I am seeing on different crime maps, I would not call this a safe neighborhood.
I have never had a problem here i'm actually appalled at the other reviews. I have lived here 15 years and never seen one bug this place is not luxury living but very affordable. I have really good friends who live here and the managers are amazing. Clean your house people maybe that's why u have bugs!
Affordable Living Great Staff and good People what more could I say. I have lived here for 1 month and I have no complaints this place is so amazing!
I use to live at Pacific Terrace Apartments. I lived there for two years and had to move because my job relocated me if it wasn't for that i would still live there its a nice place to live. I heard form people that lived there years that Pacific Terrace use to be really bad with gangs and violence and that the new managers really clean it up. I did not see anything really crazy happen while I lived there you would see the police here and there but really just minded my own business and kept to myself. I guess I got lucky the area where I lived was quiet and the apartment I got was clean, never had a bug issue.
I just moved in, haven't even been there 2 weeks yet. Yes there are an unacceptable amount of roaches. I've bombed it twice, laid out traps and sprayed, and even the complex has me scheduled to be sprayed. Although the manager told me they didn't have a bug issue, but it turns out they really do. I signed a years lease, hopefully I can tolerate it, and when I move, I hope I don't bring any bugs with me.
Cheapest in town. Roaches fleas and ants... Tiny pool laundry and security
The unit is large enough for me and my girlfriend to live comfortably and came with all new appliances. However we have fought a bug problem since the day we moved in. We are clean people so we have it mostly under control but occasionally we still find them. Management is reluctant to help but eventually work gets done.
