Property Ratings at Pacific West
After viewing the apartment and the grounds, my husband and I didn’t want our daughter living anywhere else. They made us feel welcome and that it was a safe place. By the time we got home after the viewing, we went to fill out the application and the apartment was spoken for. We were heartbroken. The next day I got ahold of one of the managers, Kim, and expressed our concern on not wanting any other complex. We wanted Pacific West! She was a godsend to say the least. With Kim’s help we now have a little piece of mind on sending our daughter off to the city!

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Pacific West. We're happy we could meet your expectations!
I have lived here for 3 years and will not be renewing my lease. The buildings themselves are nice, but management is completely unreachable and unreliable. It has been over a YEAR since someone has answered the phone at the office, and they NEVER return your call. If you email them through RentCafe, they will not respond either. If I have a question, I have to walk in during office hours, and if it is something that they need to follow up with, I never get an answer. I sent in a maintenance request over a week ago because my refrigerator stopped working, and it took them 3 days to respond and by then I was out of town and was not available to move food from the old fridge to the new one so they didn’t do anything to fix it. I've called a few times to check on it, and of course no one answers. Literally all of my food in both my freezer and refrigerator is no longer good and I can not buy more, because I have no idea when they will be coming to replace it... really, don't waste your time with a company that doesn't give you the light of day.

Been here for over a year and I have no complaints! Community is quiet, management is always so friendly, and has been super helpful with anything I’ve needed, and the unit is very clean. I signed a transfer to a bigger unit so I can stay here another 12 months.

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!
The office staff NEVER answers the phone. I had to go to the office myself about my sink overflowing for the 2nd time. With the sink overflowing, the cabinet below the sink was ruined. There was water stained and the bottom cabinet board was sunk in. Maintenance showed up without telling me and all they did was put another used board over the old one! My apartment still smell like a sewer! Last but not least is the manager at the complex is extremely rude & they don't care about their tenants.

Please know, we care deeply for each and every resident of our community and regret that you received the opposite impression. Our team does their best to be available throughout office hours. However, occasionally situations may arise that draw us away from the phones for a moment or two. We apologize for any difficulty you had getting ahold of us and for any inconvenience this caused you. Maintenance can enter homes to complete necessary repairs unless otherwise stated on the maintenance request. This allows us to provide prompt service and fulfill resident requests as soon as possible. If you have questions about maintenance policies or procedures, please give the office a call. We would love the opportunity to sit down with you, address your concerns in greater detail, and work towards improving your experience here overall. Please call the office at your earliest convenience and schedule an appointment to speak with management directly. Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Don't rent here! The apartments and hallway are gross! And office staff is rude. Have had so many issues. Can't wait to get out of here!

The management/maintenance is the WORST. I have lived here for ONE month and our A/C doesn't work. On our intake sheet we are required to fill out and turn into management, we stated that our A/C didn't work well (it was cold out at this point so we didn't let it run for a full time) & didn't receive any follow up to our problems. I contacted management on Sunday and a week later it still isn't fixed. We have to stay with our parents because it is now 84 degrees in our apartment WITH the windows open and the fans on. We couldn't have our out of town guests stay with us.. super embarrassing. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!! couple of other things -smells like weed all the time -no one picks up their dog poop -doors are not secure -we had to deep clean the apartment as it was not cleaned when we moved in -our ceiling is soft from a previous leak -we found weed in our spare bedroom closet Update: After living here for 10 months I’ve considered breaking my lease numerous times- I’ve put in multiple maintenance requests (which I’ve rented from apartments before and never put in this many before) -Our sink gets backed up at least once a month(I talked with the neighbor lady and she said her apartment does the same & her bathroom has flooded from this) -One of our maintenance requests I told them about didn’t get ‘filed’- property management tried arguing with me -Our chain snapped right off our door (good thing it was me entering the door and not someone trying to rob us) -The laundry room smoke alarm was not plugged in-my fiancé checked this last month when he changed our smoke alarm battery in our apartment & he of course plugged it in. Yesterday the smoke alarm started going off because the dryer was smoking. - Still smells like weed -doors are still not secure I will say the maintenance guy through the Lund company is very good but the property management is not at all. It may look decent on the outside but it’s awful management and upkeep. We cannot wait to get out of here neither can our neighbors. Hope this helps!

Roseanna, we are deeply dismayed to read that your experience has not lived up to your expectations. The comfort of our residents is a top priority for us, so we're disheartened that you feel we've missed the mark regarding the upkeep of our community and the level of service you've received. Your feedback is valuable as it can help us better understand how we can improve the way we serve, so thank you. While we understand you do not have a high opinion of us at this time, we invite you to please visit us in the office to repair our methods of communication with you and see what we can do to help you get more of the five-star experience you deserve.
The first day I remeber walking in and thinking why did I pick this one. It looked like a hotel suite kind of. And then I thought it just needs a little work but it'll do just fine. I've been here almost one month. There's a few things I would change but I can definitely work with it. It's starting to feel like my own place, a place I can call home. I could live with out te bugs but I got a room on the first floor it's understandable. The screen door and window get stuck but that's why i don't mess it.
