West Greenville has been the site of recent revitalization efforts by the city, one of the most populous in the state of North Carolina. Stretching west from US 13 in the heart of the city to NC 121 near Farmville, West Greenville encompasses fast-developing suburban areas and scenic farm country.
The urban sprawl that’s spread over the rest of Greenville is slowly reaching the west side. Upscale apartment complexes have brought in new residents and employees to the bustling Medical District, the top contributor of Greenville’s economy.
There’s still plenty of scenic North Carolina in this evolving locale. The Phil Carroll Nature Preserve that sits along the Tar River provides a glimpse into the vast ecosystem that surrounds the city. West Greenville is largely populated by recognizable chain restaurants and shops, but most residents will find themselves minutes from the center of what was once named one of the nation’s best small cities for business and careers by Forbes.

Property Ratings at Paladin Apartments
Stayed here for 2 years....The office manager is great and friendly but the bugs were a huge problem and the walls were too thin for me. I could literally here all my neighbors conversations smh
The leasing office manager is great. But during my stay here, I hated it. This place is crawling with huge roaches during the summer and winter. Also had problems with ants. Neighbors were noisy. Didn’t clean up after their pets at all. Maintenance did do good fixing what had to be done.
When transitioning from Raleigh to Greenville, I needed an apartment on short notice. The management and maintenance staff were dedicated to making sure I received the apartment promptly. The maintenance staff was especially attentive and accommodating, even moving up the cleaning and repairs to ensure it was ready for move-in. I was honestly nervous about moving to the Greenville area, but the staff at Paladin apartments helped to ease so much of my worries and stress during this process. While I am still in my first month of living here, I am confident the employees at Paladin will do whatever is needed to make sure my time here is as smooth and comfortable as possible.
I am very pleased with my apartment! I was exceptionally pleased with it in addition to the customer service from Gloria, who is the leasing agent, and the maintenance guy who made sure I viewed the apartment before completion of the lease arrangement, not only were they friendly and courteous but very helpful and concerned of my interest and satisfaction of my apartment. The maintenance man actually waited for me to view the apartment before he left for the day! The location is convenient and the neighborhood is quiet! My apartment is very clean and I was informed that it was newly renovated so I was super excited! I would recommend this location to anyone suitable to live here! I already have recommended someone but there are no apartments available as of yet. Overall I am happy that I chose to live here! Thanks an bunch for allowing me to be a tenant!
I'm writing this review as the mom of a second year tenant at Paladin Apartments. I have been very impressed at the higher level of service that has been brought to the table since Real Estate Associates took over this property earlier this year. It is visibly evident that Gloria in the leasing office, and Preston in Maintenance, have their act together; and as a result, are managing this property efficiently and have it working like a well-oiled machine, all for the good of the tenants. If you're looking for affordable living in Greenville, I recommend you give Paladin Apartments a look. Thank you.
I’ve been living at Paladin Apartments for almost two years. I have to say it has been a nice experience so far. It is a good neighborhood with no significant complaints. My one bedroom apartment is very comfortable. There is plenty of space, especially in the kitchen, where I like to spend time cooking. It is close to everything you need, grocery stores, laundry, dry cleaners, and Starbucks. For those health/science professionals and students, it is walking distance from Vidant Medical Center, Brody School of Medicine and ECU Health Campus. The new management office has been very professional and efficient when I have encountered maintenance problems. Air conditioner stopped working during a hot summer day, and the water heater started leaking. Everything was fixed within a day. Thanks to Gloria and Preston for such a prompt response and being so personable. I highly recommend living here.
Received terrific service from Paladin Apartments! They handled inherited problems from previous management-timely, courteous and efficient. This service comes highly recommended! Five stars!
Paladin Apartment is located in a nice area, I have been living here for a while, I enjoy living at my apartment and is a quiet neighborhood to live in with your Family, you do not have to worried about have to park for your cars, and the neighbor are very nice too, This is a beautiful place to come home too.
The company who manages these apartments is absolutely ridiculous. And the building is pretty much falling apart with huge roach issue in the warmer months. And then no heat or fridge all winter. There is also extensive water damage and mold through out the building which has made me very sick from living there less than a year. No one cares or fixes anything. Do not move here. Better off in a tent or pretty much anywhere else. Toxic enviornment. Toxic people.
