Property Ratings at Palazzo East Apartments
After staying almost two years a the Palazzo East, I have been severely disappointed by the attitude taken by property management, and Andy specifically. The property started significant construction, which was extremely disruptive and made it difficult to stay in the apartment during daylight hours, and he was dismissive of my concerns and came off as rude. He ignored my email communications and did not do anything to help address my concerns regarding the construction restricting my access to community amenities and the loud noises. I felt that I was not taken seriously, which was extremely disappointing given the premium I am paying to live here. It seems that he and the broader property management have been prioritizing acquiring new residents and are dismissive of residents that are currently residing in the community, especially if they are younger. After my concerns about the useability of my apartment and the community amenities went ignored, my next communication from the property was to let me know that they are increasing my rent by 10%. I would not recommend staying at an apartment complex that shows such mediocre service and disregard for the tenants, given the price point and branding. You can get better quality for your money.
Palazzo East used to be a good place to live. I've been there several years but I'm moving out. Don't be fooled by the amenities, they rarely work and when they break down they generally take several months to fix. The sauna has been broken for months and the elevators are frequently down for weeks at a time. The building does a terrible job at dealing with vendors, and they can take months before fixing things.

Since the pandemic, parts for items such as our sauna and elevators have been more difficult to obtain and we do work with our vendors to get these repaired as soon as we possibly can. I lived at Palazzo East twice in the past 10 years and loved it both times. The grounds are very well-maintained, maintenance staff is super friendly. Loved walking my dog every morning and stopping to get a latte in the spa. Residents were friendly, made a few life-long friends. Great memories!

On first impression, the Palazzo is paradise. I've lived here over five years but am finally moving because it all continues to go downhill. The amenities are amazing, but they have stopped doing repairs or anything so much of the great amenities are unusable. The management is abominable and a disaster and the turnover is extremely high. They don't respond to maintenance requests in a timely fashion and their customer service is horrific. There is no loyalty to residents who have been here. They would rather have the building be empty than be amenable and cooperative with current residents. I am so frustrated and disappointed with them. Our ceiling has been leaking for over a year and they are now finally addressing it. But barely. There are holes in our ceiling for months while they get bids to fix it upstairs. It won't be fixed by the time we move out. I would suggest looking elsewhere for this price!
The amenities are nice. But all that glitters isn't gold. The upkeep on the apartments isn't as great since it's a large community. I have lived in 2 separate apartments on this property and both have had pest issues with spiders. I constantly wake up with spider bites on me even though they have sprayed my apartment and said its due to all of the plant foliage. Leasing office and regional managers aren't responsive or helpful. However they reach out quite a bit when it's time for lease renewal. Definitely moving soon.
